and about to move for the 14th time. Our college kids, that is. We moved our first son 7 times through college and med school, our second son 4 times, and we are about to move our daughter into her apartment in Boston for her Junior year.

I am tired but very grateful. It has been an exciting ride. DH is at the apartment now helping DD paint. We have the UHaul for Thursday. We are finally nearing the end of the college years and all it requires. (well, except for the loan payments, lol)

Actually, wouldn't it be 26 moves in 10 years? We always helped every September AND May. Wow.

Before DH and I had kids, we moved a few times but we stayed in our first house for 5 years until we moved to 'this' house. We have been here 23 years and I think we stayed a few years too long. Its harder to think about moving now. I am 'attached'. However, we are going to move in the spring so just seeing that other people really do move makes it easier for me.
