I sooo wanted to lose weight but being a stress eater with this new job....OMG!!! I think I've gained like 20 more pounds on top of the 30 I really had to lose. Very bad. Typically you can jus chalk it up to - hey these are strangers and I'll never see them again. But I don't feel like you guys are strangers and I just might get to see you guys again if we plan our cruises right. Oh well...i'll be the phat lady in lime green!!

But I also don't feel like anyone in this group is going to judge me by how I look.

We only had 24 here this year. Small crowd for us. Some of them have gone wine tasting this afternoon but will be back here to play some games and eat leftovers tonight.

Minor mishap....I set my oven on fire! It was shooting flames like a woodstove! I could do nothing but yell for Dennis. What would I do if he were not here?? Anyway, he got the turkey pan out, closed the door and waited for the flames to subside (lack of Oxygen he said) then we put baking soda on the turkey drippings that was the culprit so I could go ahead and finish off dinner. Luckily the turkey was in fact done when I started the fire so I had only to brown the marshmallows on the yams.

Yikes! That must have been scary!

I bought a dress today at fashion bug. I LOVE IT!!!! I have never in my life put on a dress that fits as perfectly as this one!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! When I got home I put it on to show my DH. Then I put it on to show my mom. I never do that...but did I happen to mention how much I love that dress!!! You fine folks will all get to see it on the cruise!!!

Dina is watching Alice in Wonderland right now. Then she has a stack of movies she wants to watch after that. Guess she was deprived from a DVD player for too long.

But she is also listening to a Disney CD at the same time. Well, at least she's listening to one song, "Strange Things are Hapening to Me," over and over and over...
