We have only done the parks before. This time we are headed straight to Tallahassee for my youngest 18th birthday and a FSU football game. I miss him already :guilty:

I just came from the gym. I am having no problem exercising, but the diet thing is just not going well.

Sirena- I hope you get better soon.

AMA I looked at that thread, and I thought someone said the only problem was you could not break up the min 20 needed to order into sizes? I thought it was a min of 20 of whatever size..check on the wouldja...? But Steve and I will get 2...
OMG I didn't see that! I just tried and it looks like that is the case. I will call them tomorrow and see if hat is a hard and fast rule or what. I can be really sweet when I want my way. :teeth: But if it's a no go I will look around the net for another company.

Hello Everyone! I have been sleeping. I finally went to the urgent care yesterday b/c my sore throat was very painful. I have tonsillitis. The antibiotics they gave me knock me out so I spend the days sleeping.

DH has stayed home to watch the kids. He's not too happy he's losing vacation days. Oh well. That's what you get after 10 yrs of marriage... :rolleyes2

I just hope nobody else gets sick at home since we are flying at the end of this month.
I hope you feel better soon. I haven't tonsillitis since I was a kid but I still remember it was not fun at all. Get well soon! :wave2:

Amanda brought it to my attention that the original company that I was looking at for the bands won't allow you to order 20 in any varity of sizes that you want. So I think I may have found another company, however they only offer adults and childrens. But they let you order in sets of 5 which is way easier for our group. We have an annual camping trip every July so I am gonna order a set to see how good they are. I just wanted to keep everyone updated.

I hope everyone has a great friday!

Hello -

Feeling better but still very tired and achy. The good thing is I lost 2.5 lbs! Probably b/c I have not eaten much and once I really get better I will go on a binge eating marathon which will get me back to my "healthy" weight. :lmao:

Seriously, I was doing really well, going to the gym and I think that actually helped me lose some weight but my old dresses still don't fit. I'll shop around when I come back from vacation and hopefully I'll find a good bargain. Already bought the dress for DD. Don't know what to get for DS1. Maybe closer to Sept they'll bring more formal clothing, now it's all beach wear.

I hope I can jump right back to keep exercising. I lost momentum.

Good to hear that your feeling better. Being sick is no fun!

I have a dress that I bought years ago on ebay that I knew would be perfect, I just didn't know for what when I bought it. But I had to lose weight to wear it. Well I lost the weight, but it turns out that the dress was altered in the bust. So now I have to find a taylor to let it out. Here I thought I just gained my freshmen 15 (which I did) and the wedding stress was gone so I ate again (mostly on the honeymoon). Turns out it was the dress. That's my story and I'm stickin to it! :thumbsup2 So hopefully I can wear this dress that I have been looking at for 2 years and I can stop shopping. Wow did I just say "stop shopping"? No one is allowed to tell my DH I said that! :p

I just got home from watching our little boys arrive at their 8th grade social. I almost died when I saw them. At my 8th grade dance, we wore nice dresses, like church attire. These kids went all out. The boys had tuxes with top hats and canes. They looked like gangsters. The girls all skipped school today and had hair and nail appointments and they wore dresses as nice as the high school prom (which is tomorrow night). They even rented limos. I bet some of these parents spent five hundred dollars or more on an 8th grade social. I told them that I am going to have to start saving now for my DD's and she is only in 2nd grade. My best friend said that I'll just have to stop planning so many Disney vacations and I told her that my DD will just have to miss her dance before I'll give up Disney. (Just kidding of course.)

Let me ask a cruise a question. How do you go about paying a deposit into your cruise account?

I am going to have a hard time being that close to the Mouse's House and not stopping by for a visit. :guilty: I will not be going to WDW this time before or after the cruise, so ya'll who are need to tell Mickey I said "Hi" :wizard: There just isn't enough time and money to do it all. Darn! :stir:

We wanted to go to WDW for Saturday and Sunday following the cruise, but we had to do Kennedy Space Center to satisfy the school board's requirements and get the an educational excuse for DD.

We can't wait to try Expedition Everest. We have watched several shows on the travel channel that have highlighted the ride. It's going to be great. They have a lot of new attractions since we were last there in Mar 2005: Soarin, Lights Motors Action, EE and play ground at MK. The two Nemo attractions will be finished by the time we get there at Christmas, Mission Space will be altered and we are hoping Body Wars and Cranium Comando will be open. With the special Christmas activities and all the new rides, every day we will get to do something that we haven't done before.

Well I am off to do who knows what. This is the first Saturday in a long time that we have had nothing to do. I promised DD that it is her day. She wants to go shopping, have lunch at Applebee's and watch the movie "RV". I hope everyone has a great weekend.

When we were last there DH an I saw the start of construction on Everest, and have since watched all the shows and I know that will be the first ride we hit. When I saw the show I had no idea how intense it was going to be. We are both so excited! I hate that we only go every other year, but it works to our advantage. During the time in between something new is being built. There is so much that wasn't there 2 years ago. We are going to have to run the parks like two crazies just to do it all!

Well, I made it home, but I'm exhausted. We ended up having lunch at Gattitown, then watched both "RV" and "Stick It", and then dinner at Pekings, all with shopping in between. Way too much for one day, but DD is happy. By the way, "RV" is hilarious and "Stick It" is horrible.

I have another question, I found my birth certificate and it is the original one my Mom was given, but it doesn't have a raised seal on it. It does state that it is a certified copy. Do I need to order a new one, or will this be alright?

Also, I read on another thread that I will need to bring a copy of my divorce papers showing that I have full custody of my DD or they may not allow me to board the ship with her. Is this true?

I can't sleep! I slept all day and now I am all awake. :bitelip:

Wasn't it the EE ride that was closed down to investigate some incidents? I read somewhere that a woman died after some new ride but cannot remember if it was EE?

No, that was Mission Space at Epcot. There have been at least two deaths tied to the ride in last few months. I read on this boards home page that Disney has decided to offer two versions of the ride now to make it less intense for those who don't like the original or have medical problems that make it unsafe. I was glad to see them do that. The first time I rode it I got very sick. I go to alot of amusement and theme parks and love all the rides. No ride has ever made me sick like Mission Space. DD and I rode it alone, and she loved it. When I got off I felt dizzy and numb, and my chest was hurting and I was nausous. My head hurt so bad I couldn't stand it. It was a struggle just to make the walk out of the pavilion. My parents were waiting for us outside and as soon as they saw me they made me sit down on the sidewalk. It was about thirty minutes before I felt well enough to get up. We had planned to stay for Illuminations that night, but I kept the headache all day. We ended up leaving after a couple more hours. I went back to the resort and went to bed (It was only about 5:00p.m.) The next day, I felt fine. Since then, there has been the two deaths. I have no idea if the rides could have caused the deaths. All I know is that I have no medical problems and the ride made me extremely sick. There is no way that I or my DD were ever getting back on that ride. Now, we will try to toned down version.

Wow - what a nightmare! I probably would have made DH take me to the First Aid unit. I love rollercoasters and since I've heard some stories about local deaths as well I am a little more hesitant now. I don't know if I'll get on the big one I use to take on. I'm feeling old! I now think that when I was in my teens/20's or when I had no kids I thought I was invincible. Gosh I am 31 now when DD is a teen and I am in my 40s I'll be a bore. :rolleyes2

I love roller coaster, but I will never ride MS again. DH and I went to Epcot first day of our honeymoon in the morning. There was no one in line so we thought great, lets go now. Well we rode MS and it took a good 3 hours to feel back to normal again. We couldn't ride anything intense for those 3 hours. I have a pretty sensetive equal liberiam, so certian things can through me off pretty easy. Even DH was feeling a little off. We didn't really feel sick, just . . . off. I did feel like I was going to be sick when I was in the ride, and that's a feeling I really don't want to repeat.

Gail, I don't know about the divorce papers, but you do need the birth cert. with the seal.

We went on mission space last summer. It is an awsome feeling. But it did make me a little nausous. They actually have barf bags next to each seat. The kids rode it more than once. I couldn't. My friend had to lie down for a few minutes after. It gave her a headache. But our kids rode it a few times. We went on the test track right after and i was still feeling a little icky.

Have a good Sunday......................

I am so bored right now. I've spent the whole week sick and laying around the house. I still don't feel great like to go out on a shopping spree. DD4 is now sick too so she has fevers and is taking antibiotics. I would love to do some scrapbooking but with these two kids all over me that would be impossible.

DH is sleeping and doesn't want to wake up for "another few hours". He says he is all tired of taking care of me and the kids this entire week. :confused3

What to do?

Oh, you are a scraper! I am to!!! I started scraping when I was pregnant and now my DD will be nine in Nov. I have scraped every picture that has ever been taken of her. When DD and I went shopping yesterday, I stopped by my favorite scrapebook store and they had a lot of new Disney things and I spent over $100.00. I bought stuff to make DD a Disney Autograph bood to take on the cruise to get character autographs.

Do we have any other scapers in the group?

I'm another scrapper. My boss got me into it about 8 months ago, but with school I haven't finished my first book. It's for our honeymoon. I figure I will finish it this summer, just in time for our two year anniversary! :teeth:

I have a Disney album on the works where I have our parks visits and Disney on Ice events. I plan to add the 2005 cruise pics as well but need to send the digital images to print. I found DCL 2005 scrapping pages at the Character Premier Outlet.

I need to get started on the baby's album too and he's already 1! The pic printing is what holds me up.
