We recently did a split stay and I could not do online check in. I called and spoke with a manager...he indicated that b/c of the split stay, there was no way to do online check in. I am betting they are counting the cruise and your land stay as a split

We had one of these rooms in the beginning of May. We were only at BWV for 2 nights. My 5 year old chose to sleep on "her bed" (the bench) for the two night we were there. To each her own I suppose.

Is this also true if you buy tickets through AAA, or another discouted ticket place?

I also feel that something happened to him personally. I hope he is okay. Why not use the room that is not cancelled (and have one for back-up) and use the $ you were refunded to pay for the dining?

I've checked the reservations (mine and my parents) daily. I will continue to do so. There have been a number of reports that others were successful in checking in without problem. It seems as if people who had confirmation numbers in hand have not had problems (other than adding on the DDP)...

So, I checked on the reservations again today (the 15th) and knock on wood...they are still listed. I will check again later, but I am guessing this is one less hurdle to jump.

We have three kids. The middle child has declared 'vegetarianism' at the age of 5 (and no, I don't think it is a phase with her). She claims she likes the animals too much to eat them. I eat fish from time to time (about 2x a month), but tend to stick with more of a vegetarian diet myself, so...

I am with superme80 on this one. I had a discussion with a middle-schooler (family friend) who told me that her parents didn't feel the need to get her a cell phone. Since so many kids have them these days, if there truly was some sort of emergency, she could get access to a phone.

I would love to see the results of such a poll. When reading the reviews on some of the resorts, I am always amazed at how many people complain about walking. That is part of going to Disney and the theme parks.
