    More Parking Insanity...

Agreed. The last time I stayed at the BW if you were on the Boardwalk when Epcot closed you would have seen hundreds of people leaving through the Inernational Gateway, walk to the BWI, turn left to go up up the stairs which lead to the hotel entrance, and then straight to their cars in the...

(CLOSED) Disney's BOARDWALK INN and VILLAS Information Thread ~2012~

The Garden Suites are nice, and I am sure that you will have a great time, but I hope you aren't disapponted by the "security" aspect. The cottages do not have their own private entrance - anyone can walk past them either to just walk around, or use the quiet pool which is adjacent to the...

    Torn between 3 resorts... help

What do you think is worse, possibly walking through a very long corridor at BWV, or a three story climb lugging your suitcases / groceries at OKW if you don't get a ground floor villa?

    Pool Question BC vs. BWI

A lot of posters on Dis seem to have an irrational fear of clowns, well I have a morbid fear of sand. It is called sandaphobia. Whenever I see pictures of SAB I totally freak out, and those pictues of SAB have just burned a hole in my retina. The only cure seems to be for me to look at the...

    Pool Question BC vs. BWI

It is people who have an irrational fear of clowns that should not use the Luna Park pool - it has nothing to do with Stephen King.

    Resort Do's & Donts

Strongly frowned upon by who? Certain posters on Disboards, WDW hotel management, or the staff at valet parking? Just wondering.

    Room safes

Room safes either have a key, or a keypad (like at the CR), where you choose your own numerical code. Unless you leave the safe open or leave the key where anyone can see it, then there are only 2 possibilities for loss. If you keep the safe locked, then someone would have to break into your...

    The Boardwalk Inn Information Thread

I know that 5 rooms are on the 3rd and 5 are on the 4th, but I guess I still didn't understand (or I forgot) that other guests on other floors can gain access to the lounge so easily since it doesn't require a KTTW card either in the door or the elevator. I remembered about the elevator, but...

Tell all there is to know about the Boardwalk

Not a personal attack at all. I guess if you think that going down the slide at the BW is like being "vomited out of the mouth of a clown", then I guess you have different standards than me when it comes to choosing words when stating my likes or dislikes about anything in particular at WDW.

Tell all there is to know about the Boardwalk

I didn't think that people who suffer from Coulorophia also manifest a tendency to rude and vulgar comments.

Tell all there is to know about the Boardwalk

Sorry, but the pool is not "creepy". Many adults have a psychological disorder called Coulorophia, which is an irrational fear of clowns. The last time I was at the BW all I saw was a lot of youngsters having the time of their life going down the clown slide, and not adults covering their eyes...

Walt Disney World Resorts no longer accept personal checks

I really think that sometimes people take Disboards too seriously. Does posting the wrong information cause 'families to spend money needlessly . . . or find themselves in a very bad situation far from home?". I don't think so. First, if you want accurate information, call WDW direct. I know...

Walt Disney World Resorts no longer accept personal checks

The GM at the BW should have been more specific - to quote from my latest WDW room confirmation: CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT WITHIN 10 DAYS OF GUEST ARRIVAL AND A CREDIT CARD MUST BE USED. So to say that WDW will not accept personal checks for room payment when you check in is...

? regarding Wyland Store at BWI

Same store as at the Poly, in fact I think the one at the BW might even be larger. The BW location stays open late every night, with a closing time of either 10 or 11.

    Beach Club..Here We Come!

I agree with you 100%. For what you paid at the BC you should have been totally satisfied. I think where you went wrong is not listening to your daughters advice - you should have left the BC and gone back to ASM as soon as you realized that the BC wasn't right for you.

    Choices, Choices. Club Level Info?

Some people eat a lot, others eat a lot less, just like at any restaurant or buffet. Agreed that the Club Lounge is not a restaurant, but where is there a sign posted limiting a guest to how much food they can take? In my experience food is always replenished in a timely manner, and guaranteed...

Boardwalk Inn and Club Level Review

The only entertainment is on the Boardwalk itself, but you are a 5-10 minute walk from the Beach Club, Yacht Club, the Swan & Dolphin, in addition to Epcot (a 10 minute walk) and Hollywood Studios (a 20 minute walk), so guaranteed you won't get bored!

Boardwalk Inn and Club Level Review

It's not silly. A lot of people are afraid of clowns - the actual term is Coulrophobia(look it up on Google). This phobia is no different than people who are afraid of heights, the dark, spiders, etc.
