    Re-entry

First Disney experience? WOW, I remember my first time. I envy you. I wish I could go back and experience my first Disney experience again. It can be overwhelming, Just keep in mind that it is your vacation and if things don't go exactly as planned, you are still at Disney! :thumbsup2 Enjoy...

    Question for 10+ day trip-goers.

We always bring enough clothes for 3-4 days and wash. We usually plan to wash at a time we set aside to swim at the pool or do something else at the hotel.

Cirque du Soleil — La Nouba

Awesome show. You won't be disappointed. I'm pretty sure you can get a deal on price. Worth every penny. :thumbsup2

    Primeval-Whirl!?!?!

We always enjoy the ride. I guess everyone has different tastes. It sort of explains why Disney has many parks and many themes.

Need Your Best Tips to "Rest" While at the Parks

Many great tips so far. At each park you will find shows and rides that allow you some "rest" time. Maximize these. It's tough to be a bug, Beauty and the beast, The car and stunt show, backlot tour, Hall of presidents, voyage of the little mermaid, etc. PotC is also a good ride to sit down for...

    Waistpacks. Ugh.

I don't have the Disney one but I use my fanny pack and I love it. I 'm able to put my camera, wallet, KTTW, cell phone, money, pen, etc. in it, keep it in front of me so I can keep an eye on it and not worry about pick pockets, etc. and have my hands free and piece of mind. Very useful. I'm...

    the Tower of Terror

That is a great story. A true memory to treasure. This is also the "our ride" of my daughter and I. The first time I took her to WDW she was nervous about ToT and I told her if she rode it once, I would not ask her to again but I wanted her to ride it at least once as it was our first time at...

What Would You Do With An Extra $800?

La Nouba (Cirque de Soliel) for sure. You could use the money to stay longer. More souvenirs? More expensive food choices? You can do so much with an extra $800. When you are at Disney, that can make for even more magical memories. Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy every minute.

A Word of Caution of Anyone Taking Pictures at WDW

yes, but let's use your "extremely realistic and something an intelligent person would consider" scenario. What if he did have a knife, and the OP turned his back and walked away and that is when the man stabbed him? What if he didn't have a knife and just hit him in the back of the head while...

A Word of Caution of Anyone Taking Pictures at WDW

The op did not say that he was "getting up in someone's face and shouting at him". A verbal assault can be as bad (or worse) as a physical assault...and his brother WAS accused of something awful. Ever heard the expression "the pen is mightier than the sword"? Sometimes The only thing needed for...

    Cirque Du soleil

We bought our tickets the morning of the show from our service desk from our resort and they had many seats still available. That said, I would imagine on days with heavy rain forecast, they will sell more tickets for the same reason you would buy them at that time. I'm not sure about walk...

Hoop De Doo or La Nouba

We have never seen the hoop show, but we have seen La Nouba and it is a fantastic show.

    Water Parks or not?

As you asked for opinions, I say get the waterparks option. My DD loves the waterparks and I always wonder if we should spend a day at the waterparks and I am always glad we go once we do.

Go this June or wait until next summer?

I agree with pp. Use your code this year and go again in 2013. Two trips in three years instead of one trip in three years:woohoo:

    We're not guilty!

I understand your frustration. I have dealt with that many times myself. I don't know but I think the best solution (IMHO)is to do the best you can without lowering yourself to the bitter and rude behavior I have seen many do and try not let it interfere with your enjoyment of Disney. While...

    We're not guilty!

Agreed. Another poster made a comment about being upset that some people might be getting special treatment. Some people spend way too much time worrying about what other people are doing and why. Sometimes that "special treatment" is because of a handicap of some kind. Even if it isn't for...

Gotta convince my wife!!! I just gotta!!!

Compromise is always good. Home Improvements are good. I may have missed what home improvements, but unless your home is in bad condition, you should be able to use part of the money for improvements and part on a trip to Disney. You don't want to miss out on making memories with loved ones...

    Cirque Du soleil

We went in 2008 and had cat. 2 seats and it was fantastic. Based on conversations I have had with others and with being in the theatre, I don't believe any seats are "bad" seats. My opinion and advice is that it's a great show and if my choice were the cheapest tickets or not going, I would get...
