Your Unpopular Opinions

I don't like this thread and "where it's going". Sometimes unpopluar opinions should be kept to one's self as not to hurt others be it in real life or on the internet. :)

Were posts deleted? I didn't see any mean spirited or hurtful posts that aim to hurt feelings

Nor did I. Though, I suppose people could "see" themselves in some of the things that other people don't like (but that is true with any thread).

My unpopular opinions:
- I don't like coffee, most alcohol, or most cheeses
- It is perfectly acceptable not to tell other people which party/candidate you voted for
- Having your parents pay for your university education does not, necessarily, mean you didn't care about your education or took it for granted

In Sprite of pp I hate voting season I have a friend on face book that says if your voting for such and such you should slap your self I think that is just mean and immature people should have the freedom to vote on who ever they want

I hate middle-aged and older men grocery shopping - GET OUT OF THE WAY. All the rest of us have figured out how to work the aisles and cars and, newsflash, we have stuff to do today. Guys just stand in the middle of the stinkin' aisle with a "deer in headlights" look on their face blocking traffic and getting testy.

I also hate women shopping in home improvement stores. Sister, do a little homework before donning those Manolo Blahniks and monopolizing the stock clerk for your "medium-light-teal-livingroom-paint-scheme-that looks-more-dark-than-light" exploratory shopping excursion. I mean, really? :rotfl2:

I'm a middle aged man and NOBODY has to wait on me in the grocery store. I DO hate people who do that, but in my experience it's almost never men - save for the old guys bumbling along with their equally clueless elderly wives. :)

I dislike people who won't put their money where their mouth is. They bad mouth retailers who pay poor wages, but they still shop there. They're "pro labor", but drive a Toyota. Etc

Edit: I also hate beer. Yes, I am a red-blooded American male bordering on full-blown redneck. But, I hate beer - all brands.

Add me to the list that like Kourtney and Khloe. I can do without the others lol.

I didn't like Raglan Road.. felt pretty bad about that one!

I would rather spend a quiet night out to dinner with some friends, having a couple drinks, over a wild night at the bar. (May not be an unpopular opinion here but it's probably an unpopular opinion w/ others that are my age - 25).

No posts deleted. I just felt that some were already starting to come back to defend themselves against others' opinions. My bad if others don't feel that way. Just my UNpopular opinions I guess. ;)

I see what you mean. As I got further into the thread, I see some people questioning others' post. Also, some of these posts aren't opinions. They seem like vents! It's all pretty fun to read, though.

I've seen quite a few that I agree with but the one I haven't seen mentioned so far, and will probably get me tarred and feathered is..... Mickey bars taste just like a DQ Dilly bar.

My opinion is I get annoyed when people don't know the difference between an opinion & an annoyance.

Or maybe I'm offended by it :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

popcorn::popcorn::

Oops. I’m guilty of this, and I didn’t even realize I did it. I just got carried away :headache:

Thanks everyone for sharing your opinions. This has been a fun thread to read.

oh please....women who wear $600-900 shoes have decorators:rolleyes1:flower::tongue:

True story-I have a degree in fine art-know color inside out....I brought my swatch and a pic of a Door from Southern Living Magazine with a custom Sherwin Williams color.....they made the custom paint first for the door and I realized the color I chose for the shutters was totally wrong....salesgirl showed me that dark green color used in old New Orleans mansions...it was perfect...so what is the harm to ask a PRO???

I get annoyed at the people that see signs for miles that a lane is closing, ignore the directions to merge, and follow the ending lane to the very end --- expecting those that followed the directions to yield. Undoubtedly they wait until the very last minute and it causes HUGE back ups. There are always some that will race to the end and then try to dart into the already merged lane. I've seen some near misses this way where people try to force their way in. I let people in when they have no where to go but it is annoying.
Actually, late-merging or "zipper merging" is faster and causes less congestion than everyone merging into one single lane right away:

I don't like Halloween but that was already discussed on another thread. I don't like Christmas music and actually I seldom, if ever, listen to any type of music.
As far as foods go, I don't like coffee, yogurt, spicy foods and I seldom eat chocolate.
I know I must sound like a huge dud or a stick in the mud type but really, if you knew me you'd say I was a nice, fun person.....I think :p

Actually, you are the most amazing person I know mom!
