Your Ride in 3 weeks - Am I High?

I booked Your Ride months ago due to this Board. I have since heard about the company changing hands, the non-paid advertising spanking and various other things.

Now I am not sure what to do. I want to use a credit card and not carry cash. Good stories or bad stories from anyone that has used them in the last 3 months would be greatly apprieciated.

I have never personally used ********, but from reading these boards have seen very positive comments. I did speak to Thom tonight, because I had to make some changes in my transfers and he was definiately very professional and very accomodating!

Like I said, I have not personally used them in the past, but I do have them booked for December and I am very confident that I will get very professional service!

If you have any concerns, call them! I think that might make you feel more reassured for your upcoming trip!

I have reservation with ******** coming up on Oct 23. I have talked with Thom a few times (needed to change times) and everything seems ok. I can let you know when I return on 11/02 if your still waiting to leave for your trip.

I used this service several times earlier this year and was very pleased. My driver, Thom, is now the owner, and that makes me happy, as he is one of the good guys, in my opinion. I have booked another trip with Thom for later this month and have no worries at all. :)
 

If you truly have some worries then I suggest changing to a limo company that doesn't make you feel this way.
 
I too had heard many wonderful things about this company and got the quote. They were very prompt with their response and very nice and very reasonable. I had decided we would use them but then decided to rent a car. Well that changed but by then I had heard rumors that since they changed hands that people were having problems. The only specific thing I heard is that they sometimes farm out their services which isn't a big problem since the other company did everything that ******** was scheduled to do. When we decided we needed a towncar, I posted to this board and to my Disney email lists, some with over 7000 members because of the inuindos I had heard. I did not get one person contact me with a specific complaint, all I got was "I heard" or people said, etc. I have them booked for November and have changed my mind about different cars, pick up times etc several times and Thom has been very friendly and professional. I will be sure to post my experience as well but it sounds like other companies or people who get advertising from other companies are trying to get their business. I hope I am not wrong.

And yes I thought since I had doubts, that maybe I should get another company. But why? I could not find one person who had a specific bad experience so why should I let alot of anonomous people with suggestions turn me into going with another company. I am sticking with Thom.
 
I will be using Your Ride in just 5 more days:bounce: I have had many e-mails back and forth with Thom. I have changed the # in our party many times and he has always been very accomodating. What really impressed me is the fact that Thom will see to it that my son is also picked up even though he won't be sure until he is on a flight when he gets in. My daughter-in-law works for Delta and they need to fly standby. Thom said to have Jimmy call him when the know what flight they can get on and he will have them picked up. He will also have a car seat for my granddaughter. Now that is customer service!

Yes, the car seat is provided in the price. I am very impressed with the quick responses I have received from Thom and his patience with all of my changes!
