Can someone please elaborate on the gist of this story line? I must have missed something b/c I don't know the significance of the ring.

Paul's daughter Heather reemerges as the new Assistant DA!

Word has it, Heather will not recognize Paul.

When father & daughter are reunited, it'll make for a tension-filled relationship!

I saw a photo of Heather and I think she's perfect. She reminds me of April.

All of these sound interesting.
I can't wait for Michael to find the ring finally and then also that Phyllis has been lying... I was starting to think she actually might have "changed".

Kay began to remember a ring and a scene where she was handing over a baby. When it finally came back to her she was forced to reveal to Jill that Kay had switched her son Phillip for another baby shortly after his birth, and had given a woman named Violet an expensive ring to secure the deal.

Michael will supposidly soon find this ring. What does that mean?? Is Michael or Kevin really Phillip?

DH watched part of the July 4th episode with me (probably his first since January) and commented on how he always seems to know whats going on even though he only sees 3-4 episodes per year!! (Come on, who is he kidding, he is secretly watching my tapes at night!! )

I just wanted to post that Jack was responsible for the results of the DNA test. He was the only on ewho took the test and told everyone else what the result was. Or did I miss something? I love Phyllis, I wish they weren't doing the whole Nick amnesia thing. I hate the way Nicki and the other Newmans have treated her since Nick's crash. She is not the reason Victoria found out about Brad, Victoria hired JT to dig it up, yet Phyllis gets blamed. Oh well...

No, Nick was the one who got the letter with the results sent to him. And then,, next thing we knew, he was gone on a "journey". That letter with the results was never shown.

I wondered if something was up with Cane because in one episode in the last couple months he was talking on the phone to someone and sounded very shady, like he was up to something and no one suspected a thing. Then, that was it, no more mysterious scenes like that. Anyone know what I'm referring to?

I was wondering the same thing. He sounded awfully strange on that phone call. I looked after that on the internet to see if I could find anything and could not. The phone call made it seem like he was playing hard to get with that job but intended on taking it all along.

I thought something was up with the mistaken DNA tests all along, and that phone call proved it to me. I'm all for Michael being Jill's, but if they make it Kevin then ALL credibility is gone! He is way too young. Phillip was an adult with a kid (please bring back Nina-one of my favorites) when he died. Then she had Billy. Kevin is around Billy's age for goodness sake! Phillip is the same age as Cricket!

From what I remember Nick got the results and dissappeared with the paper and Phyllis was waiting for him to get back to tell her. She seemed that she honestly did not know and cryed when Nick told her.

So unless they change the story and give it a twist it seems Nick is the culpret not Phyllis.But when using the word "Phyllis" you must proceed with caution...

I think that you may be right in the Newman's may just blame Phyliss for the incorrect test results. That would get Phyliss to have enough and turn evil again or make her want to just get some revenge.

I also hope Michael is Jill's son. Michael needs an escape from Gloria.

I get so sick of it, though. Newer fans may not mind, but when you've been watching since diapers it is hard to stomach sometimes. I do like that they are bringing in Paul's daughter.

Finally, some more news about Adrian's identity:

Adrian's identity is revealed and the residents of Genoa City are shocked to find out who he really is - Adrian will end up being a half brother to someone in GC!

So, is he Victor Jr? Who else's half brother can he be?
