WW Weekly Weigh-in

This was my 2nd weigh in and I still haven't lost any weight. DH hasn't lost any either. We stay within our points, drink the water, exercise, eat the fruits and veggies and still nothing. What are we doing wrong?
I actually ate last night when I wasn't hungry, just to use 3 points so that I only had 1 left. I hate eating when I am not hungry, but they say you are supposed to use all of your points every day.
Any suggestions?
 
Hi Denine - I know it's tough right now, but it'll get better. As far as your daily points, I don't use mine all the time and that's okay. I think it's just as long as you stay within your points and your not hungry. Do you use your exercise points? How much water do you drink per day. Sometimes you need to stir things up to get the weight loss started.

I don't use my exercise points. I keep track of them, but don't use them. I am drinking at least 6 glasses of water per day. I am just frustrated.
 
Dennie - that happened to my mom, too. Our instructor really said to eat at least the daily minimum. Just watch the amount of zero point stuff because you don't want to eat so much of that that is actually more than zero. Also, I read in Woman's World to make sure and do two or three higher point days and the rest low point days each week so your body doesn't go into starvation mode. TYou can do it! Stick with it!

Hi Denine,

I don't blame you for being frustrated. Have you tried CORE? You mentioned feeling like you have to eat when you're not hungry to meet your target points. Maybe your body would respond more favorably to CORE. Just a thought.

Don't give up, you will see results. I know it must be so hard to wait, but its worth it!!!!

Denine - I'm thinking it might take your body some time to adjust to the new diet. Try asking your leader for his/her advice... I'm sure they've dealt with plenty of people like you. I rarely use my AP's except if I'm going out and I don't use all my regular points every day. Do you use your 35 flex points? I would just talk with your leader and see what they have to say. You should be seeing something in the next week or so if your saying OP and drinking the water (try increasing that if you can)

I only have 1 or 2 zero point foods a day.

I do my best not to use my flex points. I got into last week for a birthday party. This weekend won't be good eating wise because we are going for a romantic weekend at a B & B. We will be going out to dinner and having breakfast at the Inn.

I am on my 7th glass of water, had 7 fruits & veggies, did the treadmill for 30 minutes.

I like the point system. I don't know if I could do Core.

I will keep going.
 
I just got back from my weigh-in. I lost 4.6 pounds this week! I'm very happy with my results so far. But it's only week 3....the hard part for me is making it past week 5 or 6. I'm trying to remember to take it one day at a time. I really get a kick out of updating my ticker to reflect the weight loss - it's a nice visual cue.

Now, when I weigh in this weekend, I hope that I'll need to ask you to help me get the 35 lb clippie. Just 1 lb to go for that.

1 day at a time. That is what I have to do. Congrats on the weight loss. Hopefully I will be able to report a loss soon.
 
Hi,
Can I join in here? I have decided to start WW again, this time online as there is no longer a class here in my town. While visiting relatives last weekend, I heard about the CORE plan for the first time and decided to give that a try. I didn't take time to read all the posts, but I would like to hear from anyone who is doing CORE. It will be helpful to me to have all of you on these boards to be my substitute WW group!
 
I did it! I made myself go. And only put on .2 lbs. I was thrilled as I couldn't even find my journal, let alone have time to record for 4 days. I ran a gymnastics meet and ate from the hospitality - and NOT WW op foods!

Next week I WILL do better!!

MaryJ - WELCOME to WISH, and WW online! I do online also, but not Core. The little I know about Core is: mostly all fresh stuff, especially meats, and seemingly low carb (sound like another plan you know of? ;)) For me, I'm into numbers, so the Flex Points has worked great for me. Keep posting, and ask away, there are lots of WISHers waiting to help!

goldcupmom - Good for you! .2 is nothing, and probably water, so it'll be gone ASAP!

Sandy22, that's a GREAT LOSS for week 3! Keep up the great work! (and we all know, it IS work!) :grouphug:

Hello all! I'm new to the WISH board, but have recently joined WW (again). Feel very good this time about things as I now finally have the support from my DH that I need to go to the meetings. I have at least 50 lbs. to lose. Down 4 so far (2 weeks). I'm doing the points plan!

My reward will be a trip to WDW of course!!! :Pinkbounc
 
I was down .8 this week. Better than nothing but not what I was hoping for! Next week will be better I know. ::yes:: Keep up the good work everyone. :)
 
I am down 1 pound this week. Now the scale even says my WW goal weight - just need to get rid of that .5 - but, really, I have a personal goal of losing 10-15 more pounds - we'll keep chugging along!
 
Wow!!! I am so glad I joined this board.....love to hear about everyones losses and also the weekly obstacles that we all face :guilty:

Because of the snow, ww was closed, so I go again this Friday - - I didn't think I did that great this week so I am going to step it up so I see a loss on Friday....I hope to post good news!!

Hang in there Denine.....the weight does eventually come off, I wish it weren't so very stubborn though ;)
