Good morning everyone!
I was hoping there was a WW thread on WISH. Let me do a short reintroduction of myself. I was a die hard low carber and lost about 110 pounds with a combo of Atkins and South Beach. I was not able to sustain that way of life and felt like such a failure, especially when I gained back half the weight. I have floundered for over a year trying to find the right program for me. After doing much research and the old "try it on my own" thing I decided I needed some guidelines and structure. On Sunday night, I joined WW on-line and this is day 4 for me. I love this program! It is so freeing not to have food restrictions. I thought I would do Core but it reminds me too much of lc so I picked flexed and could not be happier.
I hope you do not mind this former low carber turned WW convert joining the group. WISH was a big part of my success a few years ago. I want to get the 55 pounds off I gained plus reach my WW target goal, although I admit, at this point, I really don't see myself weighing 126 pounds when I weight 230.6 right now.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and I'm going to be doing a bit of backtracking and reading some of the thread to see what I have been missing.
back to Wish and the WW weighin thread. As you know there are many inspiring and supportive people here. I have always done the flex plan to have more freedom with my food choices. The ww online program is great. I've lost 38 pounds with ww, and had been stalled for a while and have stopped the meetings and am using Wish as my support system now and doing ww on my own. I've been a yo-yo dieter my whole adult life, and am determined that this be the final time I lose this weight. I have about 20-30 more pounds to lose, and won't give up til it's gone. It helps to set short term goals and celebrate all the small victories, like 5 or 10 pounds at a time. Good luck to you!!!!
You can do it!!!
HI, Mik! Sorry to hear the candy got the best of you, sometimes that happens. Now that it is a new month it is time for another good start! I know the next few months are going to be a challenge for all of us, this is one of the hardest times of the year for me. We need to stick together, support one another and take it one day at a time.....WE CAN DO THIS, right?!
You guys are the best!!

You should be so proud. 9.4 pounds is amazing for one week, and such motivation to keep it up. I love reading about your plan and how you have your food for the days ahead already planned out. I remember when I have been really motivated and done that in the past, and how much better the scale responded. You are inspiring me to get back to the basics, and really follow the program. It is so true that we can eat anything and go anywhere, as long as we plan accordingly. As far as flex points and APs, when I'm actually totally OP, I usually used all or most of my fps, and the majority of my aps also, and would always see a loss. I think we need the fps to keep our metabolism up, and if you're exercising and earning points, your burning more calories, and you body can use the extra energy. I remember people at meetings having weight gains, and having no idea how, but whenever I gain, I know why. When i follow the program, I lose weight. It sounds so simple, yet it is so hard some days.
