I was down .4 yesterday, and I'm happy with any loss. I really need to exercise more, and I know that will help. I heard yesterday that the average american gains 7 pounds between thanksgiving and new years, and I do not want to be that person. I looked at my weights from the last 2 years and one year I was the same the first week of the new year as the week before thanksgiving and the other year I was up 2 pounds. This is the first year I will not be going to meetings and having that accountability, so I need to be accountable to myself and plan my meals this month. I'd love to lose weight, but realistically, I'll be thrilled if I maintain over the holidays.
WDWLVR-Congrats on your loss.

One pound is an awesome weekly loss!!! Weekends are tough, and I too find myself being lazy, and those easy convenience foods aren't usually too healthy.
ZerasPride-Congratulations to you on your fabulous loss again!!!

You are doing so great and an inspiration to us all here.
tiggerlover- Sorry to hear you had a gain last week, but it's great you have that leeway to work with. Journalling really does make a difference. I start to journal again, and after 2 days, it slips my mind, and doesn't come back. You are so good to save you splurge for Christmas. Guess that's why you're at goal!!!!! Have a wonderful holiday.
Andrea_loves_Disney- Awesome job you're doing at GOAL!! I love seeing that shiny red ribbon on yours and Tiggerlovers siggies. Some day, I will sport one too. Over the holidays, I definitely splurge, and take small pieces of desserts that I want to try. Some times, too many small pieces.

Not a good roll model, but I find if I don't have it at the party, or family gathering, I feel deprived. I think if you do splurge on one big day, but stay on program the other 6 days that week, you can still see a loss, or at least maintain.
I wish you all a very happy thanksgiving.
