WW Weekly Weigh-in

today's my weigh in day too... according to my scale at home, I was down .2, but according to the WW scale I am down 1.4:cool1: .

I think I should just stick to weighing on one scale for consistancy. One week my scale at home will weigh me slightly less than the WW scales, then another time the WW scale will be lower. Since my weight was lower (this week) on the WW scale, I think I'll go with that one;)

I also need to stop weighing myself throughout the week and just stick to Wednesdays...my weight fluctuates all week long so I know it's a bad habit to weigh each day.

Mermaid02...is caffeine bad for weight loss? I have cut back some since starting WW but not cut it out completely. I only drink 2 cups of coffee each day, but I make it half regular and half decaf, so I figure it is the equivalent of having only one cup of caffienated coffee per day. The rest of the time I drink water, occasionally I will have decaf tea or coffee in the afternoon.

Here's to a good week this week everyonepixiedust:

Yeah would stick with the WW scale as your "one scale" because that is the one that gets recorded for your records and your tracking in the WW program.

Caffeine can stimulate the appetite. I sure don't need that!:lmao:

WI was Wednesday night -- Down 3.8.

YIPPIEE!!!! as I was getting stressed over the stale mate and not eating enough food that I was happy!!!

chirurgeon & DizneeMommy- - Congrats on 1 lb!!!

cepmom -- Yeah on 1.2!!! I too have stopped weighing mid week at home, keeps me on track and I don't get lazy because I don't know exactly what the scale will say when I get to WI.

I<3EvilQueen -- 1.5 is awesome -- all that and a DQ sundae too!!!

mikamah - Keep going!! We'll get it next week!!! I stick strictly to my daily points and very rarely use the activity points because of the same reason, I get crazy with "extra's"!!!

WDWLVR - It's a new week-- keep going!!! (but cake does sound good!!!)

Happy Thursday Everyone!!! Eat well!!!

I get weighed at WW on Saturdays. I think I gained this week but I am hoping I didn't. We have gone Dairy free in our house as well so I am hoping that helps some. I know weight comes on slowly- meaning you don't wake up one day and BAM! You are overweight, but why is it so much harder to get rid of it?:confused3 :surfweb: Oh well, slow and steady wins the race. Maybe I will actually excercise tonight. Or perhaps I will go to bed and actually get some sleep.:cloud9:

And how come a bad habit is so easy to pick up but the good habits are so hard to??

I can't believe how fast it creeps up on you!!!. :scared1:

I just found this thread. My WW weigh-in day is on Sunday. I'm doing online only.

I lost 3 pounds last week to bring my total to exactly 10. :)

We went to Outback last night, and boy was it difficult. The boys shared Bushman 'shrooms for their appetizer. I love those things, so I ate two then sat on my hands until my entree came. I managed to avoid the wonderful Outback bread and ordered Chicken on the Barbie as my meal. I ate all of the veggies and saved half of the chicken for my dinner tonight. I ordered my bbq sauce on the side and ate only a tablespoon full.

I was commenting to my DH that it is weird for me to eat out and not be stuffed when I'm finished. Stopping when I've eaten what I should is definitely a challenge for me!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND, EAT WELL!!!

Hopefully you guys will take another member in here!

Probably not a new story, but I did WW a few years ago and lost 68 pounds. Then wife got pregnant and the stress took over. Obviously it all came back on and finally 2 weeks ago I decided to go back.

So today was my weigh in at the end of the 2nd week. I was down 2.8 and 10.8 total. So far so good. Even though it's "only" 11 pounds, I feel better already. Looking forward to even more coming off....

Welcome back!!! Every pound, inch and ounce counts!!! That's what keeps me going every week!!!

good job on the 11 pounds!!

My daughter and I joined last week. We did South Beach a few years ago but I find it too limiting so we're giving this a try. Our first weigh in is tomorrow after a week on the plan. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

After a year of training for the Disney 1/2 marathon I didn;t lose a whole lot of weight and found that diet over exercise will do that so with proper diet - as in eating a balanced diet - it should work.

Still power walking and dreaming of another 1/2 marathon in 2009.

Hi everybody, Congratulations to all of the losers. I have not been on since my last weigh in day (Thursday). I was up .6. My first thought if I gain or even don't lose is that I want to give up. I have really been doing very well as far as sticking to the program goes. I do not eat my extra 35 points and I earned activity points last week that I also did not use. I write and count every morsel of food I put in my body, I was definitely expecting a loss.

I was disapointed but did not allow it to stop me. On Friday I had to leave for Albany (about a 4 hour drive) I packed my food for the day so I would not be tempted at the rest area fast food places. I have continued with my exercise, I did 40 minutes both yesterday and today. Hopefully on Thursday I will have a loss.

Well I am in the lost column but not by much 1.4 my daughter on the other hand did great she lost 4.4. I'm so happy for her. If one of us had to lose 4.4 I'm glad it was her - she needs the encouragement. Maybe next week it'll be me!

Keep on plugging away!
