i actually like the corny rides at WDW its part of the fun, and experience. :teeth:

I agree! I hate when they change things! Bring back the old Tiki Birds, Please, and don't ever touch Carousel of Progress!!

Are they only going to add the movie characters to Pirates or are they changing the whole ride to represent the movie?

I think Stich will not close down anytime soon because it just opened. When we went last year and this year that ride was jammed packed.. Some people might like it . My nephew Ryan went on that ride last year and loved it. His parents thought it was stupid but they go on it everytime just because he likes it.

When we went to the parks when the ride first opened and this year it was jammed packed. Some people do not really go on these boards or look up infermation. They read about it on the map and think it`s neat so they go on it. They would not close it down for that reason.

Some people`s favorite characters are stich, like my son. Even though we told him it would be a waste to stand in line and that he would not like it he rejected and said he wanted to ride it. We went on it and I thought it was stupid and so did our son. He just wanted to see stich.

Hope that helped

p.s: Quick Question What is Drew whatshisname Sounds Dangerous. Someone explain

I don't know about the worst attraction, but I think the most overrated attraction is Buzz Lightyear. It's not a bad ride, but definately not worth waiting in the long line you always see out in front of it.

And am I the only one who actually likes Star Tours?

If you are waiting in a long line, I can see why you say this. Our whole family had a really good time on Buzz, but we were able to walk right on during the MNSSHP and went back another night when everyone else was doing the parade.

By the way, we are real fans of Star Tours too...my daughter and husband are delighted that Star Wars weekends will still be going on for our next journey to the world :)

Have you ever gotten stuck in the Carousel of Progress? Almost every time I go on, our group gets stuck in the 1940's. The first time this happened to my mother and I in 1994, we had one of the best belly laughs of our lives...still brings quite a chuckle when we talk about it :rotfl2:

My vote is Stitch's Great Escape in Tomorrowland. I predict this one will not last long. It's simply a rehash of the previous attraction and is not that entertaining.

I am going to have to agree with you on this one. We went on in October because my 6 year old daughter is a big Stitch fan. The stinky smell from the space alien got on my clothes and I smelled like the ride for the rest of the day

i understand all of the negative comments about stitch and the Speedway but on all of my recent trips i have never seen short to no lines on either of these attractions. i even remember on my first visit to MK and seeing the lines for the speedway being so long and cant understanding why but as a previous poster stated that

i think that explains the mystery to me. but it could use an update especially with the new pixar movie coming out and the increasing popularity of NASCAR racing. a great sponsorship deal possibly between Disney and NASCAR?

i do have to vote for the closing of sounds dangerous. i couldnt believe just how bad that was. wasnt worth it even in the heat of july. the beginning of ellen's energy adventure added really unecessary minutes to an already long ride.

If you want to experience a good laugh, stand by the speedway (near the teacups) and watch the reactions of the parents who are brave enough to let their small children drive...it provided my parents and myself with some much needed laughs after being confined to the resort while Wilma passed over the area!

My vote for the worst is The Great Movie Ride. I don't think it will ever close but my whole family HATED that. We felt trapped and couldn't wait to get out of there. YUCK!

My vote goes to Sounds Dangerous. We skipped it until our 3rd trip in November. After we exited the ride my oldest dd said "Well, that's 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back! :lmao:

I have been told it will follow the story line of the new movie.

Loved AE, like Star Tours, HATE Stitch. Can't say if they would close it or not, they've obviously put a lot into all the Stitch merchandising, but we'll make a point of staying far, far away from it foreverafter. X-S Tech, I miss you!

IMO the worst is Swiss Family Treehouse. It sure does take up some prime real estate.

Now that someone from Canada has said it, I don't feel guilty agreeing that the movie in Canada has got to go, it's so tired and OLD. Please replace it with a new one.

Chester and Hester's? I love it!

I agree with with O Canada being dated. We are Canadian and cringed when we saw it. Not only is it dated, but the accents are wrong (it sound like they hired an American from New England to do a Newfoundland accent, and that's when they are talking about Nova Scotia. And they seem to have invented an accent for western Canadians that I've never heard from any westerner I've known.) On top of that, they've put the "eh"s in the wrong places.

I also agree about Chester and Hesters, especially since I know they were aiming for this.

I really agree with sounds dangerous and stitch

The star tours really needs to be updated maybe a 3D simulater :3dglasses like spiderman at universal or something. Also the kali river rapids needs updating. Its really fun ,but or family waited to long for a very short ride. :mickeyjum :donald: :goofy:

Drew Carey (from the Drew Carey show) comes on the screen with some lady. He has to go undercover, I think, and catch a jewel thief or something. I don't really remember the story except that it was very lame. But the film part is short.

Then the lights go out and you listen to dumb noises for a long time. You are supposed to be hearing them go after someone or something. I forgot to mention that you wear headphones. Then the lights come on and you leave.

I'm actually making it sound more interesting than it is.

I have a teeny little crush on Drew Carey  , but even that isn't enough to drag me back in there.
