Worst Attraction and Next to Close

Stich should go but won't ,and thats unfortunate.
I don't see why everyone hates Stitch so much, it's the same thing as Alien Encounter for the most part and everyone loved that
AE was sooo much better, from the story to the way they pulled it off. Using the same mechanics to tell a story does not a good story make!!

The entirety of Adventureland needs to be reworked and redone.

POTC needs more than an update and refurb of characters. It needs to be completely worked over with better drops and stuff. But I'm a Disneyland POTC snob. So take that with a grain of salt.
Jungle Cruise. This one's time has come. With real animals in AK, the animatronic ones just aren't all that great any more. The corny narrators only go so far. Bring in a ride like Indiana Jones or some other adventurous thing.
The Treehouse. Ok it can stay.
The Tiki Room. The new show... I'm just shaking my head. It may be time for this one to go bye bye permanantly

Tomorrowland can use some work too.
Caroussel of Progress, can go or be updated. So can Stitch. The Indy Speedway needs to be retheemed into a herbie the luvbug ride or something and it's entrance moved to fantasyland if they want to keep it for the little ones. Or put in some karts.

My vote for worst ride is Sounds Dangerous, I felt kind of robbed of precious disney time that I wasted on that ride.

I don't even know what the Timekeeper is, where was it anyway??

And for COP - I love COP!! Please don't take it away!! Update maybe but don't take it away!

i found stitch to be dull and boring
the ride before it, alien encounter was dull and boring.
the ride before stitch and alien encounter that was there was mission to mars, now that WAS dull and boring.

:duck:

Haven't seen Stich yet - was not a fan of AE.

My vote is for Living Seas. Maybe it's because I live near the shore or close to a wonderful aquarium, but it just bores me to tears. Even the little ride seems pointless. :crazy2: JMO.

Worst attraction: Indy Speedway. It is loud and smells. It doesn't fit the Tommorland Theme. It takes up a lot of prime real estate that could be home to 1 to 2 major attractions (1 in Tomorrowland and 1 in Fantasy Land or Toontown Fair). There is not a lot of magic with this attraction and it's just not that fun.

Guess you haven't ridden with a 6 year old driving... :rotfl:

I don't know how many went with kids, but I went with my DS and he couldn't stop talking about the Stitch ride. Even weeks after he talked about Stitch, so I for one would be sad if it went. A lot of the rides I would be sad to see go, cuz as I ride with DS, it's like riding it for the first time, every time.

But then, he's 6.

Buzz Lightyear.. but I doubt it will ever happen. We thought it was decent until we rode Men in Black @ Universal Studios... now that's a ride...

haha I thought they got rid of Sounds Dangerous! I don't like that at all. I'm not a big fan of Star Tours either. And everyone seems to love Indiana Jones but me! In all my Disney trips, i've only done it once.

I've never been on the indy speedway because it seems like a waste of time. You can ride go carts at ANY theme park, ya know? Disney is supposed to be special, above and beyond everything else - and it IS! But not this ride. Plus, it has nothing to do with the theme of tomorrow.

I'm always in the minority with this, but the Beauty and the Beast show needs updating. Make it more like the Broadway show. You can keep the animated type characters, but at least bring in the mug clicking scene.

then Sounds Dangerous, then Little Mermaid (both the grotto and the show in MGM), then Indy (love it, but LMA takes care of the stunt show, bring the DL ride).

Stitch, we waited for over an hour thinking this was going to be some great ride...what a disappointment. My oldest even thought it was a waste of time. With all the thought that goes into the parks, this ride was a very poor effort.
I will say Buzz would be boring for an adult, but ride that with a 5 year old who thinks he is Buzz...It puts a whole new spin on that ride.

MK - It's a Small World but Indy Speedway is a VERY close second

I don't really care for Stitch but I liked Alien Encounter.....

Epcot - The Ride in Mexico ( just like It's a Small World)

MGM - Sounds Dangerous

AK - Don't really have one here

My "favorite" thing about the ride in Mexico is the horrible video clips that obviously haven't been reshot since it opened...they make me want to cry they are so bad.

I also hate Stitch.

I used to love Star Tours but it really needs an update.

Stitch stinks.

I love Drew Carey, but Sounds Dangerous stinks, too.

I could live without Indiana Jones, the stunt show, Pocohantas, and the Simba and Timon environmental thing in the Land pavillion.

You are using everyone a little too freely. If everyone LOVED Alien I doubt it would have closed. If Alien was so bad they needed to close it, why did they think all they needed to do was cahnge the beast to Stitch???

I guess I should be glad they didn't replace the Alien with a plywood Stitch (minimally veiled reference to Pooh). With Eisner gone, maybe we can see a return of the Disney Magic.

Of course, as a stockholder...

i think that It's A Small World is the worst ride....but they'll never get rid of that one!

i think that Muppets 3-D should get a rehab soon. it's been the same for AGES and the video looks horrible now! princess:

Do you know where those clips are from?

For those that went to MK in the 70's ... they had a ride 'If You Had Wings'.
It was a free ride back in the days of ticket books, plus great AC in the hottest months :teeth: (Soaring is the same ride now, with 30 years newer technology.)

But if you loved the classics...some of the clips in the Mexico ride (cliff divers) .....are the same loops from Eastern Airline's If You Had Wings. Funny, but I'm glad Disney saved them from the trash...put a smile on my face when I saw them and made the conection.

Back in the 70's..my little brother and I would walk around MK for the rest of the day singing that song :cheer2:
