Jackie: I'd be cranky too, being told to rest. I'm glad to hear you don't have a stress fracture, though!
Lily: Congratulations on getting your staples removed. I'm sooooo impressed with how quickly you're getting back on track. (Sorry, I couldn't resist the pun!)
Becky: Welcome Back! It sounds like you needed a little post-event, post-training vacation. Good to hear you're back to 4 runs/week--that's more than me! And you're getting your miles in every week 1, or 3, miles at a time.
SamSam: Jogging, huh? Well it sounds like whatever you were doing, you were definitely moving! I hope your Cali/Vegas trip was filled with anecdotes & memories that you can share, that don't have to stay in Vegas.
Martha: I'm with you on trying to see the positives in snow shoveling. That said, I'd trade it all in for a little spring break with sand, surf, and slogging. You must feel so good that you're running and taking care of that IT band, not to mention yoga.
Maura: I'm sure some folks here will suggest how to strip down for the Minnie--not me, though! I'm too busy giggling at your "eat and run" wittiness.
Stephanie: It's so great to hear about your volunteering experience at the Little Rock Marathon. I'm keeping it in mind for next March for sure--as it sounds wonderful. The 3-1 ratio of racing to volunteering also gives me something to think about and aim for. I do so appreciate all the volunteers give to us.
Casey: Oooh, the Run Away With Cirque du Soleil? Sounds interesting. What stands out about it, in your experience?
Aloha Jeff: Thanks for sharing your pictures. You've got some great views and I do admit to being particularly fond of the penguins. Given my Bingham adoration, I don't think that's so surprising. And you always look so calm and relaxed....Hawaii does a body good, I think!
Mel: WTG with the run! Have fun spectating! And you are so right to give more details, because Jeff is way too modest.
Tigger Jeff: Good luck with your Sarasota race! Oooops, I guess that's CONGRATULATIONS on your PR! 33 minutes faster than Disney! And running a year. I say everything about the event and your performance deserves much more bragging than you'd done.
WWDave: What's all this about ToT social events? I haven't been paying too much attention, but the other day DOOD said, "You want to do ToT, right?" I don't know what that means, but I'm hopeful.
Z: A guilt run, huh? I'd call it dedication, but guilt works too (and motivates me, as well). Whatever you call it, yea for the PR!

Oh, and I don't think it's ever too late to join a team, but PM WWDave for a team assignment!
Cecilia the still somewhat sane: You're a crazy woman, and that's so cool that you signed up because you got the inside scoop. You've got guts & legs of steel. And you set a PR??!!! YOU ROCK!
Kelley: Good for you for finding your groove back with a new challenge. I look forward to hearing your progress toward the HM. Are you going to stick with a 4/1, do you know?
Lara: Thanks for the link to the MS Challenge Walk. I'm going to float the idea of a MS event to my local SparkPeople team!
Vic: What beautiful weather you're reporting. Can I beat YOU with a stick for taunting me with it?
Craig: Excellent training report! I laughed at your 8:20 per mile "just for fun." Not because it wasn't, but because it would kill me! I definitely think you're going to be celebrating at the Minnie if there are no Brazilian touring groups getting in your way.
Betsy: Your 1/2 time sounds really good and like you could be headed toward a PR in the near future, whether in similar or more favorable conditions. Me? I'm just in awe that you can remember all the details--I tend to blank out and say, "That one was HARD." I guess that's what experience brings, huh?
CarolA: Yeah for the run, and for committing to the training program. I'm like you--I need to put it on the wall (I use a grease board) to make it official.
Christa: Yeah, your run was a little off and maybe dancing for 3 hours beforehand *might* have something to do with it?

No, I really do think it was the pizza..

Seriously, though, great run & I'm happy you're a trailblazer!
Joan4Mickey: Welcome! And wow--first time outside & you did 8 miles at a 10.31?

I"m sure you're going to have a great time (in both senses) running the Minnie!
Lily: Thanks for all the PSAs; it helps make me aware of the rules & rituals of the WISH board that I'm not always aware of. I need to give Kudos much more often to my WISH team--I admire you all so much. And I'm especially happy for you, Lily, for getting on the gerbil track and recovery road so quickly!
WWDave: Good luck tomorrow. We'll miss you for the next couple of days! The boards won't be the same without you.
Ms. Mighty: Oooh I'm sorry you had such a stonker of a week. (I'm now adopting that term, too.) I'm not sure about whether it's calories or illness, so I hope others might know. I do wonder if your extensive dental work might have had a lingering effect or lowered your body's defenses; that is, on top of all the exercise you've been doing, the physical effects of the appt. & the stress surrounded it might cause your body to temporarily "break down"? At any rate, I hope you feel better soon & get back to your training program.
As for me: I've completed another C25K day on Saturday--ending week 7!!!! I finished with some R/W to meet my training program for the Cleveland 1/2. And I have to say, it felt good! Making I'm breaking out of my mid-winter blues. Today was XT and yoga, which reminds me how little flexibility I have. (In so many ways...
