Wishes Dessert Party arrival time.

I have what is probably a stupid question, but I am unsure of what the correct answer is. We have a reservation for the Wishes Dessert Party on a night in which Wishes is at 10, the time of the reservation is 9 and it reads "arrival time". In the Know Before You Go section it says:
  • After reconfirming the fireworks showtime, please arrive at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant for check-in 60 minutes prior.
So I assume this means that as long as the fireworks are at 10 then we are to arrive at 9pm, or does it mean that we should arrive 60min before the reservation time which would make it 8pm?

Thank you :)

60 minutes before the fireworks time. A word of caution though, people do start lining up about 30min even before that - so for 10pm Wishes, around 830pm or even a bit before that. The tables are now based on "first come" basis, so your seated closer to the railing if you get there earlier. We did the party in March, and got there about 825pm, and were the 3rd family to be seated (party of 3). Have fun!

I agree - even 8:15 people were lining up for the ones I have attended - including me ;-)
Since the tables are not reserved, if you take the extra time to get there early,
you can get first shot at the best table views. And the extra time munching on desserts...
Every one I have attended I have been let in by 8:30/8:35 for the 10:00 show.

Thank you! I will plan to be there at 8:15ish. It is still not sold out, but it also isn't until December.

I understand assigned seating went away - but do they still let you line up at the rail? If so - I wouldn't worry about getting there so early. We were towards the end of the line to get in when we did this - and we still thought we have PLENTY of time to eat more than enough desserts before the show started. We were seated in the back of the terrace - but thought there was plenty of standing room close to the rail where we got a great view. At the time - some folks could sit and see the fireworks over the heads of those standing. Now - that was like 2 years ago now - so I don't know how much has changed.

All of the tables are now up against the rail - two rows deep. If you are seated at the rail, your views are good,
with the exception of trees, etc... If you are in the second row, the ceiling might block part of the fireworks depending where you are seated.
There is no more crowding against the rail now. I do recommend getting in line early to check in to get a table you like.

We did this a couple of weeks ago and checked in at around 8:40 for 10 PM Wishes. We were seated right at the rail and had a great view of Wishes. Once you are checked in, you can come and go with your wristband. My daughter and I ate a few desserts and then left to shop Main Street for a bit. DH and DS wanted to sit and relax at the table. :)

It was a really nice and relaxing way to see Wishes, we would definitely do it again.

Does anyone know if there is any need to get there early if you booked the garden plaza viewing option? Sounds like you eat on the terrace and then right before the show you are led down to the garden area. Seems to me you wouldn't need to arrive early for that?? Hoping just to come around 9-9:15 for 10pm wishes to maximize our one MK day this trip.
