Will they honor a screen shot?

With the FP+ weirdness happening on my account (showing differently in FP+ planning screen vs. My Itinerary) I took screen shots of what I have in case we wind up having trouble when we're there. Will CMs take that into consideration if you're not getting a green light but you have the screen shot or can pull up your reservation on your phone? I could also bring printouts of our reservations if anyone has found that helpful.

No, because you could have cancelled those. FP+s after taking the screen shot.

No they won't accept a screenshot. If it isn't in their system they won't allow you to enter.

I don't think they will take screen shots or print outs because you could really go in and change the FP after you do either of those. The CMs at the rides have a screen that shows which FP you have and will tell you that they are showing that you are supposed to have a FP for X ride now, instead of the ride you are at, or that you next FP is at X ride at X time. They did accept a FP for a ride once this summer that I showed them by pulling it up on MDE, but that was because it was a replacement for a ride that was down and it was for some reason not scanning as it should have at that ride.

I would also call tech support and see if they can get it straightened out for you. You don't want to show up thinking you have one set of FP when their system shows another, because chances are they will in no way honor the ones you *think* you have (because of others who would scam the system in this way).

It wouldn't hurt. But I wouldn't view it as a 100% sure fire way to get through. When you scan at the fp entrance, if it's blue, the CM will tell you if you have a FP for there and what time it's for.

You could pull up the info on your phone through the app as a try as well. But with a printout or screenshot just know that it wouldn't be that much evidence as anyone could edit either one to say whatever attraction and rides they wanted.

You should be fine though. If you have any confusion on what you have selected then just go up to a CM when you enter a park and they can tell you what you have selected

From my own experience, and the reports of others, screen shots have no chance of working for the hardest-to-get FP+ reservations (A&E, SDMT, TSM). Disney CMs will likely look at your screen shots and say there's nothing they can do.

For the less-tough-to-get FP+ reservations, a screen shot may help you get some sort of guest recovery from a CM. But no guarantees, it's completely up to the CM.

Two experiences from our August trip:

1) When we arrived at BOG for our FP time, they couldn't find us on the list. I showed them the page I printed out when I made the fast pass & they let us in.

2) The same day, I went to the room for afternoon naps, checked the computer, and we had an e-mail saying we had an anytime FP for a select list of rides for that day (due to a malfunction at SDMT). So we decided to use it on VOTLM when we got back to MK. Mickey turned blue and I told the cast member about the e-mail. He said, "can you show it to me?" We couldn't, because we don't have a smartphone. So we went standby, but I think he would have let us in if we'd been able to show him the e-mail.

Thanks, Heidi. Sounds like if I have a smartphone and can pull up my current FP+es, that might be the best evidence.

It came in handy for us when one of us (it was always my husband's band for some reason) would have trouble lighting up the green Mickey. Since the rest of ours worked and his didn't they let him go through when we showed them the reservations. Now, that is for just one of us out of a group. I'm sure they wouldn't let that happened if we said the whole group wasn't working.

If you have MDE then yes it can work. I saw that a couple of times two weeks ago but it had to be from the official Disney app. The app pulls from the Disney servers so they know it's accurate. Printout will not qualify.

I was at Test Track a couple of weeks ago and a family was trying to get in and it was turning blue. The cm checked a screen and said your fastpasses for right now are for Mission Space. They didn't seem too upset so I don't know if they were trying to pull something or were just mistaken.

I didn't have any problems they whole trip, all my fastpasses came up, even ones I had changed moments before.

I have used a screen shot and got in before when Mickey turned blue. I'm in the parks several days each week, and I always take a screen shot so I can easily keep up with FP times without opening MDE. I wouldn't count on getting in with a screen shot, but it worked for me.
