We are going to WDW in Sept. with my DH's little neices (teenagers). The reservation confirmation has their last names spelled wrong. I made the reservations directly through Disney. The first CM I spoke to said the spellings cannot be corrected. The second CM I spoke to said she would try to correct them but never did.

Will I have a major problem at the airport? Should I keep harrassing Disney until they change the name? I am fearful of extra tight security measures. :sad2:

It would definitely be in your best interest to get the names corrected! Are the names also wrong on the airline tickets??

I don't know how off the names are but my name has been wrong at NWA since I was like 5. It always prints out Lamcombe when is should be lacombe. I havent changed it becuase it takes about 2 pieces of identification and a lot of work. I'm going to change it in 2 years when I get married.
I've never had a problem with it. Everyone at the security check points I have gone though haven't said a word.*even post 911)

are your teenage 16? if they arn't they don't need an ID at all.....so the spelling I don't think will be a problem....but maybe I have just slipped though the cracks the past 15 years....

If they are under the age of 18, they won't need ID so a misspelling won't matter.
If it is a minor misspelling there shouldn't be a problem.

With children you don't even show ID. My son is 16, 6'4 and over 200 lbs. Even he doesn't show ID, although he always carries it.
