Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

We have friends going the same time as us. One has an AP and one has a ticket. They could make the fastpasses for the AP ahead of the 60 days but not the
regular ticket. The AP holder made the fastpasses for him and they just added her to each one today at the 60 day mark. Got everything they wanted and added
the regular ticket holder without any problems

I've tried so many times at this point. I don't know if it's worth the stress it's causing me. :( I'm just nervous that this is going to mean that there aren't any FOP at my 60 day mark.

This is affecting very few people and even fewer know about it.

Even though we "pre-booked", I checked on our day and there were plenty of FP available, at great times, for the most popular rides.

Don't stress. Stop checking. Wake up on your 60 day and proceed as normal.

I looked when my 60 day mark arrived and there was FOP available but the times were for the late afternoon/early evening. Out of all the popular rides the only one that wasn't available exactly at 60 days out was SDD. And of course availability increases the further in advance you book.

I have an AP and had done online check-in and I don't have early access. I don't think most people do. If you do, consider yourself super lucky! There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to who has early access and who does not.

68 days out today and just made all of my fast passes! I have an AP and my five family members have 5 day park hoppers.

Did you just log in and select the fastpasses or did you do other secrects? :-)

I was able to make most of my fast passes a few days early. I would keep logging in and sometimes it let me and sometimes it didn’t. It also didn’t always let me and had lots of errors even when it appeared to be working. I gave up and will tweak them at the 60 day. Got a few big ones out of the way though including Mine Train.

I check in May 25. I saw this thread 2 days ago and when I got on that day, I was able to do 5/25, 5/26 and 5/27. I logged on yesterday and could to 5/28 and today I was able to get 5/29. I will keep trying everyday in hope to add the next day in my trip. We all have ap’s. All dates within 30 days are blue then I looked at the beginning of my trip and the blue days started over. Thanks for posting.

Where you just able to book one day at a time?
Yes. But I will tell you it was not guaranteed that I would get to the screen to make the FP and took several attempts.....actually a lot. Lots of refreshing, logging in and out, and hitting the back button, etc. like one out of every 20 screen changes and suddenly the calendar would pop up with my rolling dates available to select. And even then sometimes I would click on a FP time selection and an error screen would pop up and I would have to start all over again. When it worked it was pretty on point but getting to that point was not always easy.

(Before finding this thread I posted the below seperately)

I have a trip planned for May 22-26 and just linked my tickets today to get ready to book FP+. I am currently 66 days out but the app allowed me to book all of my FP for the trip.

I was able to get every ride I wanted with wide-open availability and the app worked normally - no errors, no logging out and back in.

Still worried they’ll disappear but for now I’m feeling pretty lucky.

Has anyone else seen this? Anyone experienced it before? I’m worried my selections will somehow disappear and I’ll have to redo it.
There are 17 pages to read through, or, just know that your FPs are fine... basically my first post on Page#1. :-)
