Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

Today was my 60 day mark, and all my fastpasses are still there. It was weird not waking up early today to try to get fastpasses!

It's really breaking my heart to hear people traveling the same dates as us getting through and I'm not.

Honestly, right now availability is great. I didn’t even try ( other than 1 look just to see if mine was open-it wasn’t) before my 60 day window and got everything I wanted, easily. This won’t be true at busier times when every FP counts. If you’re going in May, I wouldn’t worry about spending hours trying to book a few days early. Hopefully by then they’ll have fixed this.

If it was summer or a holiday, I’d be complaining to guest services over it, but for now, it’s not a big deal.

74 days out here as well and I got to the calendar a couple of times but all of the dates are grayed out.

Try an incognito window or try the app and see if you are successful.

I'm not too worried about it. Even with this 74/75 day glitch....FP availibility still looks good for the top 3 I'd like....Mine Train, Test Track, and Peter Pan. I know they say Peter Pan isn't as big as the other two, but for me....it's one I want to secure because I hear that standby line gets long fast because it's still a classic. I checked the Dibb to see what those three look like and for when I'm there in June, all still look really good!

Not me. If you booked early & got an SDD FP & I didn’t you profited and I did not.

Sure thing. Glitch, loophole, whatever. I’m unimpressed whatever the term used. This thread is encouraging people to look for the loophole & jam up MDE forcing refresh over & over.

To be fair, it has been very hard to secure a SDD FP 3-4 days into a trip before the glitch. Many of us have had to go out more like 5+ days to get it.

That isn’t the point. I couldn’t even make FP over NYE because my AP had to be upgraded in person. We literally arrived Dec 31 with no FP. No biggy. I knew when planning that I had to upgrade to platinum because those are the rules. This, however, is not right and if we have to explain and justify our decisions and actions, well...

I have been keeping an eye on FastPass availability on the touring plan website, SDD and FOP have never been available until evening of day 3 after the 60 day open window. Last year, we couldn’t get FOP until evening of day 4. I am sorry you were unable to get a FP for SDD.

You're making an assumption that this glitch, loophole or whatever has anything to do with you not being able to make FPs selections 60 days out for the most popular ride on the property. That's a pretty big leap.

Nope. I’m saying those who had a 15 day jump on me were given a SDD FP before I could even see availability & therefore reduced my chances unfairly. Want to tell me specifically how my logic is flawed? & if this were a FP for SWGE people would be up in arms.

Your logic is flawed because you assume that it had any impact on the availability. Lots of people got access before you did because their 60 day window opened before yours did.

Yes but at 75 days out they were guaranteed a FP. If you don’t find that troublesome than I guess we were raised differently. If you’re that defensive, you know it isn’t right.

Are you upset because you can't profit from this glitch? Or are you upset because others continue to do so. SDD has been hard to get glitch or not. I checked earlier out of curiosity and that is the ONLY ride that has no availability to the 62 day mark. There are no FPs available till May 22nd for this ride. The other headliners have much better availability. That tells me that this "glitch" is not the sole reason for you not getting SDD. Everything else you can grab a FP for. You have every right to be upset...with the fact that you could not get SDD, but saying it's the fault of the DISers here who took advantage of the glitch is wrong. There are 100s and 100s who know nothing about this glitch and their 60 day window opened long before yours.
