Why did MDE let me book FP well before 60 days?

The FP window should open for your Hilton stay. If it doesn’t, call the AP HelpDesk - see the DSprings Hotels thread on the Orlando Hotels Board for tips as APs have reported success by calling the HelpDesk.

So, I called this morning for some assistance. I did NOT receive any. I was told that because I have a split stay, I cannot book any more fastpasses than I already have (8 days at Poly). The 60 day benefit does not apply to me ( I was told) because I have already maxed out my fastpasses with my Poly stay. My Hilton stay gets me nothing. I was told that I can only acquire another day of fastpasses once I start using a day. This completely negates the benefit of staying at a Disney Springs hotel with this feature. But, the really crappy thing is that if I had completed a split stay at another deluxe, I would still be SOL. What I don't understand is that I had a split stay in November (CBR/WL/FW) and was able to make all my FP at the appropriate times (60 days out).

There's got to be something I'm missing here?

I’d try another CM.

Even if you had 2 stays with a gap in between, you’d be able to book FPs for all onsite park days.

Are you 60-days out from your Hilton stay?

I am in a similar situation plus have another trip scheduled less than 30 days from that one. I have been told about the 7 day cap on fastpasses by multiple CMs as well as discussing it with signature services. They indicated if you have a continuous stay (as opposed to a split or separate trips) you can hold 14 days. The CM from DSS indicated she has seen this 7 day cap with some guests but that others don’t seem to have the issue. I am EXTREMELY unhappy. Plus in an unrelated (or maybe related IDK) I am unable to even get a 30 day window to open up for myself or my husband (both AP)

It’s because there’s a hard close of your booking window off of your first stay = no rolling open window.

Stay#2’s window should open at 60 days out unless they are really capping APs... which means APs need to revolt. You should be afforded 60-day FP booking for all onsite stays and there shouldn’t be a ‘max.’

Problem with the hard close is that I only have 6 days booked so far so I should be entitled to another but I’m locked out. I have been on the phone with Disney three times in the past 24 hours and all CMs have been admant that FPP for ALL GUESTS including APs is capped at 7 unless with a continuous onsite stay. I kinda just want to cancel all the trips because it’s so irritating that I wish I’d known that before I upgraded to AP and booked my stays...when I asked the first CM about that he said that information is out there but I guess it’s just in really really tiny print because I sure didn’t know...

@Mzpalmtree ~ In the past when APs had problems with FP booking, emails were sent to George Kalogridis and the result was Anytime FPs added to the MDX account for the complete group of visitors.

If you want to try that, recap the phone conversations, why you purchased an AP, and how you haven’t booked your 7-day max.

My 74 day window would be April 1st.... so I'm thinking I'm gonna be pranked and the glitch gone lol

By husband and I tried this for a good chunk of time today. We could get to May 23-24 many times but every single time we clicked confirm for a fp it showed a " this couldn't be completed" screen, I would say we saw that pop up at least 100 times. Those that were successful, did it take you this many refreshes?

Took me no more than 5 tries on both the app and online through the website. Perhaps trying online using an incognito window or different browsers. I was successful using Chrome.

I never had any trouble whatsoever. I would pull up the app, select to make fastpasses, make my choices, and be done. No refreshing, no logging out and back in, nothing like that.

I thought the same thing lol. We were 75 days yesterday and nada. This morning I logged in and could have made FP for our arrival day only. Did a happy dance because I felt chosen. :lmao:. Obviously it's not April fools day but still. Since we are not doing a park day on arrival I didn't make any selections but will try again tomorrow. Don't lose faith :goodvibes

It took me on the app about 90 min to get all 4 FP the way I wanted them. Now I was booking four total and I was picky and wanted a slightly earlier time for my last FP at so I canceled it and finally got it for 15 min earlier but it was a massive pain for me. I only persisted because it’s our only day so it’s not like I’m going to have great options when my window legitimately opens...

Are you 60-days out from your Hilton stay?
No. I was 60 days out from my Poly stay this morning (May 11-18). However, I made all those fastpasses 75 days out. So, today, my remaining days (May 18-21) at the Hilton are showing as 'blue' on MDE, so I hoped they would be bookable as well. In theory, they should be. But, they aren't, and my error message says that I've used all my fastpasses allowed.

The only reason I am not more frustrated is that I am not 60 days out from my Hilton stay. If that day comes and I am still blocked, then I will be quite peeved. I may be an AP, but I fly across the country, spend time on-site, get the dining plan (often) and spend plenty of money. I should darn well get the 60 day fastpass benefit.

I was only ever able to do it on the app and it took me many time and logging in and out. Maybe try again in a little bit.

That can't be right. I have Fps booked May 5-12 (8days) with a split stay using my AP

It took probably 100 times or more per day of logging in and out as well but I finally got them. I would get all kinds of messages including that we did didn’t have tickets so I would just log out and in again. It was very time consuming but worth it.

I have May 6-17 with FP everyday (12 days) across three on-site resorts. They opened up on a rolling 74. I shouldn’t even have the 17th as my AP expires the 16th. I have an old non expiring one day ticket that I might use so I’m holding onto them for now. It’s unfortunate the glitch works for some and hurts others.
