Why are there so few VWL room reports?

I know the room report area wasn't working in the past. Is it working now? Do people not know about this or just don't do it?

pooh&piglet, I've been asking the same thing since May this year. I even posted a few times to get members to post something in room reports but I guess nobody ever really stays at our DVC resorts or just forgets to do a report.

The room report page is working now so I hope members start to post something.

You might also notice on the room page that some reports say nothing about the rooms at all, just blank.

Pooh....I didn't know the room reports were up and running again. I'd be happy to report on my rooms this year at VWL and BWV...both were excellent.

Now I'll have to go try to find out my room numbers!

Maybe there are a lot of us, me included, that forget our room number by the time we get back. I'll try to remember to write mine down on the next trip so I can report back. I just find that the room reports are so subjective. What one person hates the next person loves. Sometimes there is a maintenance problem with a room and by the time that the next guest arrives it has been taken care of or the room has been refurbished. Probably the best thing about the room reports would be if people would mention what their view consisted of. Alas there still lies a problem with that. If your view at OKW was of trees someone might request to have them cut down and that would then change the view. Just kidding, don't flame me.

We went for the first time last Nov. Honestly I do not remember the room number. I did not relize there is a room report place. I also am a bit lazy in doing something like this. Sorry.

I never knew that room reports existed. I filled out the form for our room when we were there in Sept. Thanks for letting us know about it.

BTW, we had room 2460.

I agree that many room reports are subjective. Different people will enjoy different room locations or views. However, the room's location and view are not subjective.

It would nice to know what rooms are near any garbage area, wheelchair accessible, etc. Also, if there are specific maintenance problems that exist in a room over a period of time would be helpful.

I usually record my room number so I can have packages delivered back to my room instead of hauling them around the parks. I'll try to post a room report when I get back from my next trip.

you know the room report has a limit of 6 months - try to avoid this

this is the only bad view I have gotten at VWL

try to be near the elevators if you can - easier to get around and better views.

I enjoy when the "I had a horrible stay" posts about VWL are listed because it make my reservation process soooooo much easier to return to my Most Heavenly Home Resort at anytime I choose. So, remember VWL is a terrible place to goto - try BCV or something .

J/K , my studio on my web page was 3531 - 3rd floor corner room, not a lock off, near the center hub opposite the elevators, near the garbage/recycle room and not "noisy" Look at our beautiful views on our web page, we requested it again for our 2nd trip home during Christmas!

Spiceycat, I agree with you. I would want to avoid that view. Was it a studio, 1BR or 2 BR, and do you remember the room number? Thanks
