I have been trying for weeks eveyday 3 and 4 times to try and get ressie for the Hallloween weekend 24- 28 but no luck. Man this really sucks the FW needs to expand fast.....

Can you find out your loop # or your loop & site # the day before you arrive or call ahead on the day you arrive?

We leave in 12 hours and will sleep over in Lake City. We hope to get to the Fort by 11am Sat. morning.

Does anyone know if they have a certain site already reserved for you and if it is open will they let you get on your site early?

I can't speak for exactly how it works but, we've been let back to our site early, and we've had to go sit in the overflow parking until our site is ready.It seems like they assign a preliminary site but, that can change if someone with a 38' 5th wheel can't fit in theirs and has to move,,,,,wait, I have one of those ,,,,,So far we haven't had to move but, it happens.

Well, its D-DAY ( Disney-day) Were mostly loaded and I'm about to wake up the Fam.Hopefully we will be on the road in the next 3 hours, and either checked in or sitting in overflow two hous after that.How can they still be sleeping, were going to DISNEY not Chuck E Cheese .

We just had a change in plans. We where going to be at the FW Oct.23-30. But my sister and her family just lost their home so they are living in my TT. I will still be there, But staying at WL from Oct.27-30. I will come by FW to see if we can meet up with any Disboarders.

I hope so but, we will probably just miss each other. We check out the same day you check in,,, Unless we can get availability and I can convince DW to try and extend . The only thing harder than convincing her to stay is actually getting the availability.. oh well.. by the way, if your one of those people that likes to stop at that last rest area in orlando before Disney it's CLOSED.... I know, I should be able to make it two hours but,,,,,no.
By the way, I'm trying out the new air card in Fort Wilderness.
This is AWESOME, contact when I want it,, and when I don't,,Its DISNEY TIME....... I'll be able to post a live trip report..... gotts get over to see carol and the mouse Tab.....you guys rock...
