Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

I love the Nemo ride & when we went we had no wait time at all! And on the phone again! I think the next title for your TR or your PTR is "Let's see if we can do Disney with no phone calls!"

I just can't see to get the man off the phone! And they say women love a telephone.

Fun time in the Seas! (I also always want to call it the Living Seas.) Sorry about the phone call. Quite often I just wish we would just all throw away our cell phones. Especially on vacation!

I call it the Living Seas all the time. I am kind of okay with the phone calls only because he's self employed and it could be a potential client calling. However, it would be nice to have a day of no calls at all.

 I thought your dun dun dun... would be that you had to pee!

Oh I should have added another dun dun dun in there 'cause I did have to pee before we left the building.:rotfl:

Great Update! I will always call it the Living seas at least some of the tinme, I tend to just call it "The Sea" sometimes too. I have a couple of pics of the seahorses on my TR too, I don't think I ever saw one in real life before, I know I never noticed them at The Living Seas.

It will forever be the Living Seas in my mind. Just like Hollywood Studios is still MGM Studios to me.

Great update!

It is still NGO Studios for us. We took Isabella when she was almost two and that's what she called MGM, so we still call it that to this day.

We didn't spend a lot of time in, let me concentrate, The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Geez, that was difficult. :lmao:

We did Turtle Talk and then watched the manatees for a while. Then, Isabella had to have her yearly picture in the shark mouth. And then we were outta there.

Great pictures of the fish :thumbsup2. It was hotter than hot that day. I felt like I needed a shower after being out for about an hour. I was kinda surprised at the crowds this May. I guess I didn't pay much attention last May because I was always paying attention to the rain.

Lisa, you got some really GREAT pictures of the fish (I agree that eel is yucky looking). As to the other, all I'm going to say is................

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I too thought the dun, dun, dun was going to be a pee thing! :lmao: Anyway. Great update! I still call it The Living Seas! I just can't seem to call it the other! LOL! I still call Disney Studios, MGM too! I'm not big on change, so it's kinda hard! LOL! Can't wait to hear about the DISmeet! Hope you have a great 4th of July weekend!

i love reading your trip report!!
and i think you should really consider staying at POFQ next year!
especially if your mama goes along. it's very small and the atmosphere is great.

I am reading another TR (RachelNinja) and she just updated on The Living Seas today, too. Notice that I called it "The Living Seas" because I also have a hard time referring to it as The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Just like Hollywood Studios may forever in my mind remain MGM. I struggle!

I told Rachel that I remembered The Living Seas when I was younger as a ride where you rode through and looked at all of the aquariams from a moving train car. It's a vague and distant memory, so all of the details aren't vibrant in my mind, but I do remember when it was a ride. If you look at the floor, you can tell that it used to have something there, or at least I can!

Anyhoo, I loved the last update and all of the pictures of the fish. Too funny about DH getting yet another phone call! Does anyone need to tell him to leave the cell phone at home next time?

We love Helen too but the traffic is horrible! We are trying to think of other things to do while we are in Georgia. Possibly a road trip to Chattanooga or even Pigeon Forge. Do you have any other suggestions?

Amicalola Falls State Park is gorgeous! Check out the link below.

I believe it's about an hour from Helen. We love going up there to check out the falls and walk the trails. There is also a town not far from there called Dahlonega where you can mine for gold. (Okay, not super amounts of gold, but it might be fun) We've never done it, but some friends of ours have gone and like it a lot. It's a very small town.

Traffic is HORRIBLE around Helen. I don't know why they haven't improved the road, but in all the years we went they never did. I was going to also suggest Amicalola, very nice and beautiful park. I've been to Pigeon Forge, just to go to Dollywood and I was a little disappointed. We had fun, but I guess after Disneyworld it's a bit of a letdown. We took my teenage nieces and nephew and they loved it though. Chattanooga has a lot of cool things to do and would be an easier trip. The aquarium is definitely worth seeing if you never have.

I am glad I found your trip report. I kinda got backed up on reading the ones I subscribed to. I haven't been on Disboards too much lately. I thought of you last month when we went to Monroe for Courtney's orientation at ULM. We are moving her into her dorm August 20th. How in the world am I supposed to just leave my baby there? I read your whole trip report up till now tonight. I love it. I can't wait to read more. I will try to keep up and maybe we can have a Louisiana Dis meet in Monroe in August or Sept. or Oct. or Nov. I may be there a lot. I know I can't go every weekend I need to let her adjust. But seriously we can try to meet in August. Your momma is so cute. I wish my Moma would go to Disney World with us.

Hey coteau chick, I think we are not that far apart in distance!!!!

The picture of John on the phone leaning against the wall strikes me very funny. Did he happen to swim with "Bruce" while you were at The Sea's with Nemo and Friends? pirate: It looks like he is missing his left leg.

I am in New Iberia. I think you are maybe an hour away.

Yeah I think you are!!!!

Oh Yay! A fish update! ;) LOL! Just kidding! You really got great pics of the fish...that's hard to do!

Oh John and the phone. :rolleyes1 You seem very good natured about it...I might not be so nice!

I love your pictures of the fish!!! I especially love the video of the seahorses. They are so cool. :)

Aww...we love the Nemo ride! Glad it wasn't too long of a wait.:thumbsup2 You got some really great fish pictures..wow! Although, I did have to look away at the eel picture...yuck! It's so nice to see your mom and Hunter together so much. I know when we took my parent's last year...wherever my mom was, that is where you would find the boys. They just loved showing her and my father around.

Yay! Another update!! I too thought for sure the dun dun dun was a potty break!!LOL

This is a non-Disney update. We are now the surrogate parents of a baby bird. John has been working out of town (on my aunt's house) and when he got home this evening, he and Hunter went swimming. I lounged on the porch swing, read a Southern Living magazine, watched the hummingbirds drink from my feeder and all the while Oddball lay underneath the swing.

I told John that I kept hearing a rustling sound but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. He got out of the pool and we both searched for what was making the sound. We never did find it so we checked on our two little watermelons and three canteloupes (spelling?) We also picked a few tomatoes and cucumbers and six ears of corn.

Sorry......you know me and details. Anyway, we were standing under the carport and John was leaning against the back of the truck. I looked in the back of the truck and there was a little bitty bird. He had feathers but some of them are downy looking. He was just sitting there on a stick of wood John had in the back of the truck. We figured this was what was making the rustling sound because he can fly just a little bit. Not much though and it's pretty floppy when it tries.

John said he parks his truck underneath a tree in my aunt's yard. We're guessing the bird fell from the tree and into the back of the truck. Poor little thing rode about 45 miles to our house. I am sure he was one scared little bird.

Anyway, we have him all tucked away in a shoe box which has been turned into a nest. He wouldn't eat a bit of disected cricket we tried to feed him. He did drink some sugar water from a dropper though. I think I'll go to the pet store tomorrow and see if they can tell me what I need to get to feed him/her.

Of course, we had to give the bird a name. Every pet that we have ever owned had a Disney name. After bouncing around a couple of names, we decided on Flik.

So, as if we didnt' already have enough stuff to take care of around here, I guess a birdie has been added to the mix
