yeah, mom does something different every year. a few years ago she gave me $200 toward the Harley motorized motorcycle for him... he loved that! She doesn't buy for anyone but the 4 grandkids all year...that is cool. like we need anything at all anyway. we tell her to save her money! even our kids don't want for much. I tell her to get something much smaller but she don't listen. stubborn!

Now I'm trying to decide if we should fly. Kenny REALLY wants to fly. He doesn't remember ever flying... and I found some incredible rates...would only be maybe $500...but decisions decisions....its so nice having our own car...but that 16 hour drive UGGG!!! we'd spend probably $250 in gas...

I had to make sure it works, plus I programmed her name & birthday into it, and a message that says "Merry Christmas!" She'll love it. I just have to remember to delete my game before I give it to her!
It seems that Mike's direct boss didn't do something he was suppose to and got yelled at. So, he then tried to turn the attention to Mike and "catch" him sitting at home. 
Does that mean they think my child is a lost cause, that's sure what it sounds like to me. I asked her who they were to decide what my insurance will cover and what they won't. I said the 4 phone calls my insurance co has made to them saying it was a covered benefit weren't enough. They keep telling my my insurance is telling me wrong. She said I could appeal the decision in writing. 
She is going to try again and call me back, but I don't have any faith that they will change their decision.
I hope things get better soon. I love the Rainforest stuff, it is very bright and cheery. I don't remember if I told you or not, but those pictures of Spencer are amazing!
I hope Nathan is feeling better. Sorry he had to sit out of his game, hopefully he will be better in a few days after the antibiotic kicks in. I'm glad your mom is feeling better. I love the vision of your mom walking around with a chair stuck to her butt!
I can't say how sorry I am that you are going through these troubles with the Dr.'s office. It does sound exasperating, and personally, I don't think you're asking too much. Can the insurance company call the doc's office themselves and let them know it's a covered benefit? I know it's easy for me to say, but try not to take it personally as in they're saying your daughter is a lost cause.... probably one of those things that comes out sounding worse than what they really mean... but like I said - easy for me to say - tougher for you to do. Just try to hang in there with this - kay?
My insurance co has called them 4xs now. They still insist the insurance co is wrong. It's just becoming so frustrating to get a simple test. I talked to the school and they told me their testing her has been put on hold. It's become which will be the lesser battle. Right now it's seems to be running neck and neck.Lyzziesmom - Really. seriously. thought never crossed my mind. Guess I'm not much of a 'fun' mom!
Screw your neighbor! I love that game! kind of hard to explain, but great fun, and best played with LOTS of people so that the pot is big! Not that I would know about gambling or anything......

Lesa I am so sorryHey guys! Just doing a quick check in. Actually I'm trying to calm myself down before I totally lose it with the Drs office.
that is just so sad!!! They're concerned w/what the insurance co. pays for...that's what it seams like. Its not like we call and say..we're only bringing them in if you're going to insure dramatic improvements immediately what jacka$$es!! I'm mad for you!! I hope the lady helps!!
We're giving Lilly another few months and then we'll start teaching her! 
She was wearing pants that I swear she wore a few weeks ago and they fit her fine, now they are major floods! Dh measured her and she is exactly the same height as me, 5'5. The great thing is, I can wear her clothes now , well not her pants . I've got a whole new wardrobe, and it's the cool stuff! I have on her Abercrombie shirt right now, I'm waiting for her to get home and see what she says. I figure she's been wearing my stuff and using my makeup, now it's my turn.

Screw your neighbor is a card game w/a group of people. everyone gets one card.... whoever has the lowest card pays a quarter, now...you can trade w/the person to your left "your neighbor" and they can trade and so on... around the table. Now King is top...if you have a king, you flip it over and you can't trade if your neighbor has a king... and if your dealer, you can trade w/the deck...its really a lot of fun...ace is lowest and if it is low, you see that card go flying around the table b/c noone wants it...its a lot of fun!
everyone plays until they're out of quarters...3 each and then you have one round that you're playing "on your honor" then your out...last one left gets the pot. It was great. Jenny kept loosing all her money and just her expressions and actions were cracking us all up
I had braces TWICE. The first time, it was to correct my underbite. Well, the braces fixed that, but made my teeth crooked. So, a year later, I had to get braces put back on. I did get clear ones that time and hardly anyone knew I even had them.
