Amber: That's great that your grandma will watch the baby!

Whoops, gotta run. Time for phone training... I think. :confused3

Hi Linda!
Hey there Lesa:hug:

OH...yeah...we have a one track mind at this point. :tinker: (hint hint):lmao:
Girl...you are too good! Glad you enjoyed your pie...I think I would have kept the coconut!

Oh man...I couldn't get my DS an appointment for his ankle with HIS Dr for two weeks.
Geez...I hate the smile limit.:snooty:
I've had that for quite awhile;) I'm sure it'll get worse as we get closer:laughing:
I DID keep the Coconut pie:rotfl: they gave me the chocolate one free since they messed up:cool1: I don't want to miss anything:rotfl2:
I hate that smilie limit too!!! Grrr! so annoying! Hope someone cancels and you can take your ds in sooner. Hope it gets better soon!

You know...I really think that is a bunch of hooey...a hurt ankle is like a sick visit...would they make him wait two weeks for an earache?QUOTE]
I agree...I think they do what they want:rolleyes:

Linda: Wow Kenny got $100 from his grandma for Xmas? Lucky boy! My grandma still gives me $10, $5 for my birthday. Actually on Xmas she sends $30 for me and the girls but she still sends it to my mom - and she's the one always telling my mom she needs to let me grow up! Oh I'm sorry that you don't know what Kenny did for Thanksgiving. I hate not knowing what my kids are doing, I feel like I should know everything they do all the time! It was very hard for me when Lyzzie started daycare, because suddenly she was gone all day and I had no idea what she was doing or learning. Wow your trip is coming up really soon!

Lyzzie is coming down with a cold, at dinner tonight she even said she was going to stop talking because it hurts her throat too much. That lasted about 40 seconds!

I tricked Lyzzie a good one
sorry you lost your post!
yeah, mom does something different every year. a few years ago she gave me $200 toward the Harley motorized motorcycle for him... he loved that! She doesn't buy for anyone but the 4 grandkids all year...that is cool. like we need anything at all anyway. we tell her to save her money! even our kids don't want for much. I tell her to get something much smaller but she don't listen. stubborn!
she stopped talking for about 40 sec!:rotfl2:
wow, that was an awesome trick! she'll LOVE it!!! that is so cool!

Nathan did say that since he had a chance to just sit and watch the team play, he noticed all the things they were doing wrong.
His ear is much better and he made it through school just fine yesterday.
I keep thinking I need to glue her butt to a chair, but I get a mental image of my 78 year-old mom walking around with a chair stuck on her bottom.
How about some Eggs Benedict from the Yacht Club Gallery?
That is great maybe he noticed some mistakes and can learn from it:woohoo: I can't wait til Kenny notices things like that too:laughing: glad his ear is feeling better. Now a pic of your mom w/a chair glued to her bottom would be hilarious! Glad her leg is feeling better ! wow thanks, that looks fantastic!

She says she's going to stop working after the holidays and is planning on watching the baby.

Linda, wow $100 for Kenny! At least he was willing to lend it. My little brother refuses to let anyone even see his money. He locks it up and then asks other people to buy him stuff.
I am ready to scream at Mike's company.

On a good note, I am loving all the Rainforest baby stuff I am finding. The only thing is that I already decided on Disney/Star theme, so I can't get the bedding. I do think I will be getting some accessories though. The Rainforest stuff reminds me of Rainforest Cafe and that's kinda Disney, right? It could also be AK related.
oh that is too cool! I would have loved it if my grandma could have watched Kenny! But...do YOU plan on her watching the baby! Its funny how others just start making plans on their own
Oh, he's not stingy....he knows better! I'd kick his little booty!
total bs w/Mikes company:mad: yeah, like he's sitting at home:sad2: I feel for you guys. I'd seriously loose it on them!
Oh..where is the Rainforest baby stuff??? that would be so cute!!! Definitely Disney/AK related!! Very cool!

Well my January trip is a no-go.

sorry lyzziesmom...but it sounds like it wouldn't have been as much fun w/them all coming anyway. some people just don't "get it":guilty:

we leave in 17 days:yay: :woohoo: I'm so excited!!!
Now I'm trying to decide if we should fly. Kenny REALLY wants to fly. He doesn't remember ever flying... and I found some incredible rates...would only be maybe $500...but decisions decisions....its so nice having our own car...but that 16 hour drive UGGG!!! we'd spend probably $250 in gas...

there was something I was wanting to tell you guys...what the heck was it:rolleyes1

oh...Sat. night we went over to our friends to play cards. Her dh had to leave Sunday for Afganistan:guilty: so...we sat around and had a blast! I'd never played screw your neighbor before:rotfl: and left, right , center.... we had so much fun. there were 15 of us all together. the men play poker and stuff like that...and us women played dice and a few card games...they were drinking like crazy...I only had one. I'm not a big drinker. Esp. going from one kind to another...watch out. I'd be sick instantly! but we laughed so hard and carried on 1/2 the night. I wish we all lived closer! that would be so much fun. Maybe if we have a Cedar Point meet:cheer2: :woohoo:

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna! I'm glad Nathan's ear is feeling better! That's too funny that he saw what his team was doing wrong!:rotfl: I hope your mom gets better soon!

Amber- I'm sorry about Mike's job. That's crazy, just because you emailed him?!

Lyzziesmom- I'm sorry about the trip. I loved how you tricked Lyzzie, she's going to be so happy.

Linda- Can I borrow $100 from Kenny? :rotfl: J/K!!! He's lucky!

Good morning, crew!

I've been working on this project this morning that was started yesterday, and it's finally finished and I can post!

Thanks for the eggs benedict, Donna! I love them.

Linda - $100 for Kenny for Christmas.... NICE! I bet he's thrilled.
They gave you the Chocolate? awesome!

Lyzziesmom - that was a sneaky little stunt you pulled - and a good one! You played with her Christmas stuff? I can honestly say I've never done that, nor has the thought even crossed my mind! How funny. Well... did you have fun?
Sorry to hear that your trip is off. Fingers crossed that you can work something out.

Amber - ugh! How frustrating about Mike's boss!

well - i'll be back after a bit. have a ton of stuff to do after this morning's rearranging/reorganizing.

Linda: Ok I have to ask... wth is screw your neighbor?! I'm guessing it's some sort of card game? A Cedar Point meet would be so much fun! I'm contemplating gettign the Cedar Fair Plus passes for Worlds of Fun for next year, for an extra $30 or so you can go to all the Cedar Fair parks for the season instead of just a Worlds of Fun annual pass. There's one in Minnesota too, not too far from my granparents house. For the three of us, the passes would cost about as much as one WDW AP! Lyzzie was looking at the website and made a list of all the amusement parks she wants to visit, but she was so funny because she based her decision solely on the name of the parks and where they are located, to decide if they look "fun" or not.

This day is a disaster! The phone system is causing SO much trouble, everyone is making mountains out of molehills. Our "training" session had 20 minutes of people talking about how many times the phone rings before going into voicemail! Meanwhile, mostly everyone hasn't recorded their greeting yet, so callers are all bouncing back to me and nobody can leave messages. It's a mess.

Really? Never?? Geez, maybe my parents were just mean. They played with nearly all my stuff before Xmas - I'd get things that were already unwrapped or assembled and later they admitted it! Yeah I played with Lyzzie's DS, and it's really fun! I might have to get another one, y'know so we can play together. ;) I had to make sure it works, plus I programmed her name & birthday into it, and a message that says "Merry Christmas!" She'll love it. I just have to remember to delete my game before I give it to her!

Yeah I'm pretty bummed that the trip is off. I guess I'll just have to start saving for our cruise instead. I didn't think I was letting myself get too excited about it, but I guess I was anyway. Unless my parents are willing to pay for Lyzzie's airfare AND babysit Emma, it's just not going to happen, and that combination is a looooooong shot. I just can't take both girls when there's no other adult along, because Emma can't ride any of the "big" rides.

Linda, I would like my grandmother to watch him. I am hoping it all works out.

Here is some if the Rainforest stuff. I have seen it all over (Walmart, Target, etc). It's really colorful.

It sounds like you had a fun Saturday. :drinking1

Lyzziesmom, sorry about the phone issues. They are working on our alarm system here.

Nicole, yeah the whole things was just because of an email. :sad2: It seems that Mike's direct boss didn't do something he was suppose to and got yelled at. So, he then tried to turn the attention to Mike and "catch" him sitting at home.

Hey guys! Just doing a quick check in. Actually I'm trying to calm myself down before I totally lose it with the Drs office.:sad2:

Still no referral, their reason, they still don't think they will see improvement within 90 days. I called this morning and told them they have until Friday to either give me a referral or in writing I want why they are refusing to help my child, how they know they will not see improvement, and a referral to another Dr. I also took up what I had that was from the school as to what the problem was.

I got a call back and based on the stuff I provided they said it is not a covered benefit because they don't think they will see an improvement.:sad2: Does that mean they think my child is a lost cause, that's sure what it sounds like to me. :sad2: I asked her who they were to decide what my insurance will cover and what they won't. I said the 4 phone calls my insurance co has made to them saying it was a covered benefit weren't enough. :confused3 They keep telling my my insurance is telling me wrong. She said I could appeal the decision in writing. :sad1:

I finally broke down crying asking her why they are refusing to help my child. All I want is a test to be done. :sad1: She is going to try again and call me back, but I don't have any faith that they will change their decision.:sad2:

Amber I'm so sorry about Mike's work. That really stinks he has to keep putting up with stuff like that.:sad2: I hope things get better soon. I love the Rainforest stuff, it is very bright and cheery. I don't remember if I told you or not, but those pictures of Spencer are amazing!:cloud9:

Donna, thanks for breakfast. Looking at it, if you turn it upside down it reminds me of a bug. The eggs look like bug eyes! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: I hope Nathan is feeling better. Sorry he had to sit out of his game, hopefully he will be better in a few days after the antibiotic kicks in. I'm glad your mom is feeling better. I love the vision of your mom walking around with a chair stuck to her butt! :lmao:

Amber: That stinks about Mike's job. It sounds like those people have their heads stuck where the sun don't shine!

Things are starting to quiet down around here finally, but I really do have quite the headache.

I'm going to try to take some nice pictures of the girls this evening to use for making Christmas cards. The Shutterfly code that I have for free cards expires on Friday so even though I haven't decorated yet, I'm going to decorate around the fireplace really quick and see if I can get some decent shots and put together a nice card design. I hope the kids are in a good mood!

Lyzziesmom - Really. seriously. thought never crossed my mind. Guess I'm not much of a 'fun' mom! :rotfl:

Screw your neighbor! I love that game! kind of hard to explain, but great fun, and best played with LOTS of people so that the pot is big! Not that I would know about gambling or anything......

Amber, I think that Rainforest stuff is really cute!!

Lesa - I can't say how sorry I am that you are going through these troubles with the Dr.'s office. It does sound exasperating, and personally, I don't think you're asking too much. Can the insurance company call the doc's office themselves and let them know it's a covered benefit? I know it's easy for me to say, but try not to take it personally as in they're saying your daughter is a lost cause.... probably one of those things that comes out sounding worse than what they really mean... but like I said - easy for me to say - tougher for you to do. Just try to hang in there with this - kay?

Lesa: That is so frustrating with the dr's office! I don't understand why they won't just at least let her get the test done. I'd be crying right along with you, I don't have the patience for that kind of beaurocratic crap. I hope you can finally get through to them, or find another dr. who will approve it. I love your new signature picture - you always find the best stuff!

My insurance co has called them 4xs now. They still insist the insurance co is wrong. It's just becoming so frustrating to get a simple test. I talked to the school and they told me their testing her has been put on hold. It's become which will be the lesser battle. Right now it's seems to be running neck and neck. :sad2: I'm sure they're not saying she's a lost cause, but that sure is how it seems. I'm hangin'. :)

Thanks! I'm sorry it didn't work out with Lizzie's grandparents. Hopefully you'll find another way. :)

Good Morning!

:rotfl2: I'm sure he'd let ya! He's so cute!:cloud9:

They gave you the Chocolate? awesome!
I thought it would be great spending $ for Disney but he said he wants me to buy that stuff so he can keep his $:lmao: little turkey!
I wasn't thrilled I drove home 2 hrs and discovered they gave me the wrong pie and then it would take another 30 minutes to come back and get the right one ...so they said if I wanted it, they would give it to me, no problem and keep the coconut...so I made Mike drive and we went and got it:rotfl:
:woohoo: it was good too!

Linda: Ok I have to ask... wth is screw your neighbor?! I'm guessing it's some sort of card game? A Cedar Point meet would be so much fun! sorry work is a pain!
Screw your neighbor is a card game w/a group of people. everyone gets one card.... whoever has the lowest card pays a quarter, now...you can trade w/the person to your left "your neighbor" and they can trade and so on... around the table. Now King is top...if you have a king, you flip it over and you can't trade if your neighbor has a king... and if your dealer, you can trade w/the deck...its really a lot of fun...ace is lowest and if it is low, you see that card go flying around the table b/c noone wants it...its a lot of fun!
everyone plays until they're out of quarters...3 each and then you have one round that you're playing "on your honor" then your out...last one left gets the pot. It was great. Jenny kept loosing all her money and just her expressions and actions were cracking us all up:lmao: she probably only lost $5 all night...but still...it took a LONG time to loose $5 ;)
Yes... Cedar Fair pass would be awesome!!! you guys will have to come to Cedar Point!!!:cheer2: :woohoo: the coasters are incredible!
Tell Lyzzie..it's definitely FUN!

Really? Never?? Geez, maybe my parents were just mean. They played with nearly all my stuff before Xmas - I'd get things that were already unwrapped or assembled and later they admitted it!
they did...omg..my mom never did that either:laughing:

oh that would be awesome. I hope she gets to help watch Spencer!!:cloud9: awww that stuff is awesome! You'll have to register or something so we can do a "long distance shower" for you! :cloud9:
Yes. Sat. was a blast! We miss 1/2 their parties b/c I don't get a sitter if I have Kenny.. that time is too precious to give up!!

Hope things get better at Mikes work soon!!!:guilty:

Hey guys! Just doing a quick check in. Actually I'm trying to calm myself down before I totally lose it with the Drs office.:sad2:
Lesa I am so sorry:guilty:  that is just so sad!!! They're concerned w/what the insurance co. pays for...that's what it seams like. Its not like we call and say..we're only bringing them in if you're going to insure dramatic improvements immediately:rolleyes: what jacka$$es!! I'm mad for you!! I hope the lady helps!!

good luck w/the pics lyzziesmom!

We play a game similar to Screw your neighbor, it's left right center. It is played with dice. It's really fun and it's something that the kids can play. We teach them young to gamble in this family! :rolleyes1 We're giving Lilly another few months and then we'll start teaching her! ;) :lmao:

I was looking at Britt yesterday and I think she grew about 3in overnight! She was wearing pants that I swear she wore a few weeks ago and they fit her fine, now they are major floods! Dh measured her and she is exactly the same height as me, 5'5. The great thing is, I can wear her clothes now  , well not her pants:rolleyes1 . I've got a whole new wardrobe, and it's the cool stuff! ;) I have on her Abercrombie shirt right now, I'm waiting for her to get home and see what she says. :rotfl: I figure she's been wearing my stuff and using my makeup, now it's my turn.:lmao:

I forgot, Britts so excited. She gets her braces off in 2 weeks, a full year earlier than first expected. :dance3:

I thought it would be great spending $ for Disney but he said he wants me to buy that stuff so he can keep his $:lmao: little turkey!

Kenny is one smart lil' cookie!!

Good explanation for SYN - only we do it with dollar bills. We'll either start with $2 per person or $4 per person - depending on how many people, and how much time we have.

Lesa - Oh, sorry - I didn't realize that the ins company had called the Dr.'s office. That's crazy... they've called the Dr.'s office, told them they WOULD pay, and still the dr.'s office still says they won't pay. I guess that makes sense, seeing as the employees of the doctor's office WORK FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY (sorry, just venting for you here...) and know more than the insurance company employees do!?!? That's just stupid.

Woo hoo for Brittany getting her braces off early! I was supposed to wear mine for three years but it turned out I had "soft gums" or something like that so my teeth moved easily, and I had my braces off after only one year. I was thrilled!! Oh she must be SO excited. Lyzzie is weird -- she figures she'll probably need braces someday and is already excited about it and picking out what color rubber bands she wants. Sometimes I wonder where this child came from.

Yeah for Brittany getting her braces off early! I had braces TWICE. The first time, it was to correct my underbite. Well, the braces fixed that, but made my teeth crooked. So, a year later, I had to get braces put back on. I did get clear ones that time and hardly anyone knew I even had them. :teeth:
