Whatever happened to Myra?

In 2001 Disney introduced a new artist named Myra and she made her debut on the La Vida Mickey album with her cover of Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride and then sang Miracles Happen for The Princess Diaries but after she released her self-titled album Myra disappeared and never got the chance to record a second album. Which is a shame because Myra's songs were cool and she was a good teen singer. Why did Myra's career never go far? Because Disney had very high hopes for her

And how do you know Disney had high hopes for her? Just because someone does something for Disney doesn't mean they are destined to be a star. For every one that makes it there are hundreds who don't. That's the way showbiz in general is.
