Who here is not in the "clique" like me?

Oh sorry, that's because I wasn't around. :hyper2:
:lmao: :rotfl2:
Yes, the pumpkins enjoyed their TV. Well, until one fell asleep. One pumpkin is bleecchhy again this morning. I hope the other pumpkin doesn't get it.
And GOOD JOB for walking away when the salesman "couldn't" match the price! It works!

Morning, everybody!

The crazies were out driving this morning. They were tailgating, shoving their way into lanes, pulling out in front of other cars, (mostly mine) things like that. Totally spoiled my normally mellow morning mood.

Donna - thanks for the tonga toast!! Actually - what a GREAT 'real' car tag that would make: OOSHINY

2x has a great day planned, by the looks of it.

:wave2:

Any of you on Facebook?
nope

Dznyfan...I love the castle one! I have to admit I couldn't figure out who the other pumkin was, then I asked Madison and she told me it was Ariel. :rolleyes1 I should have thought of giving Britt gloves to wear for cleaning out her pumpkin!
HE did the castle!! I don't know why she chose a princess but it was kind of hard to tell, I agree. They looked better in real life, and can you believe MY PHONE actually took a better photo of them. DH keeps the gloves around for doing BBQ - they come in handy!

Never mind about the pumpkins.......

How are Erin and her DBF?

Pozey...Great pictures, the kids looked really cute in their costumes!
Thank you.

I really wouldn't say Colton was "cute" though.

He did say last night that this would be his last year to trick or treat......my boy.....all growed up....

O.k. He did look pretty creepy!:rotfl2: Britt's 13 and still going strong. She went with 4 of her friends, and when they got back here they all dumped their bags on the floor. They were comparing loot, then they got the scale and were seeing who's bag weighed more.:lmao: They already decided on their costumes for next year, their going as the 3 blind mice. :upsidedow Not sure what the other 2 are going as, maybe the farmer and his wife.

Amber...Isn't it amazing how the baby can hear and respond to sounds?:cloud9: Glad your still feeling good! Your in the home stretch now, the baby will be here before you know it! The company makes the employees purchase things they need because they don't have a credit card?!?!!? I hope they reimburse with interest!:scared1: What company did you say he works for?

I am freaking out about how soon he's coming. I know it's a few months away, but the time is going so fast. I have so much to get for him and so much to do.

They used to have a company card years ago, but there was some reason they cancelled it (I can't remember what it was). I have no idea if they reimburse for interest (since we don't have a credit card); I would hope they would though.

The company isn't a nationwide place; it's only in our state. He sells beer and wine.

Another example of how stupid the company is: They have a giant promotion in Walmart. It's a mandatory display that has to be up until Jan 31. Well, his company only had enough product to have a display up for less than a month (no one knows when more will be in). Still, they send emails everyday saying that Mike and the other saleperson have to make sure that the displays are up. Mike has explained over and over that it's impossible to have a display if there is nothing to put on the shelves. Does that stop the emails? Nope. Does anyone have an estimate on when more product will be in? Nope. :confused3

Maddie was up late last night coughing and wheezing. :sad2: Then she couldn't go to sleep after her neb treatments. I'm letting her sleep in again this morning. Luckily the only thing she misses in the morning is gym, which she should do right now anyway.

I hope she feels better soon.

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Amber- That's terrible that Mike's job is so crappy.

Linda- I don't have Facebook, just MySpace.

This is embarrassing, but I'm need to vent. I know I've told ya'll that the place where I work is having problems. Well, my paycheck that I deposited the other day bounced! I am SO mad right now.

OMG that's terrible. Are they going to fix it right away?

Morning punkins! Good news... I still like my car this morning! I was afraid I'd wake up with buyer's remorse, but nope.

Lesa: I feel so bad for poor Maddie. Hope she feels better soon.

Morning Linda! What's facebook?

ETA...Never mind, I just got your email!

Isn't Facebook sort of like MySpace? I don't have either. Correction... I do have MySpace, but I haven't even logged into it in over 2 or 3 years. I played around with it for a few days and got bored of it.

Don't you just hate how perfect strangers can ruin your day with their rude behavior? I had a great drive this morning! :goodvibes

Actually - what a GREAT 'real' car tag that would make: OOSHINY

Oooh, I'll have to keep that in mind when I go get my new tags! It's going to cost a fortune, the guy said the fees are "only" about 3 or 4 hundred dollars. :scared1:

Those gloves were a terriffic idea, wish I had thought of it. I hate pumpkin guts!

He did say last night that this would be his last year to trick or treat......my boy.....all growed up....

He'll probably change his mind next year. My mom told me every year since I was 10 that it would be my last year. Ditto on birthday parties. Used to make me so mad that she wouldn't just let me be a kid -- now I wish she'd STOP treating me like one. I think your kids looked great, cute or... otherwise.

Amber: That company sounds really messed up! Is that even legal, to make their employees pay for stuff like a/c? Don't worry about the little guy coming... you'll be ready when he comes. All you really need is lots of love (and you already have that). And a carseat, they won't let you take him home without one.

Nicole: Oh no, your paycheck bounced?! That's awful! I had that happen once, and my bank charged ME a fee for it!! They eventually dropped it, but it was a huge hassle. Watch your bank fees -- and good luck.

Yeah, his company sucks. :guilty: Who knows if half of what they do is legal.

I did call a truck rental place and they accept debit cards. So, Mike will probably be renting a truck for tomorrow. It's $150 deposit, $30 a day, and .35 cents a mile. Who knows what the final total will be. :scared: Mike is waiting to hear back and make sure it's ok to rent this. I am hoping they reimburse him ASAP for this, since it's our actual money, not a credit card.

Oh, and he just told me that his company still owes him $267 for stuff he had to buy (almost a month later). :sad2:

Can I scream?

Lyzziesmom - good for no buyer's remorse!!

Nicole - oh, no! They bounced your check!? They better take care of it today!

Oh, my God. scream away.

Amber: I'd be screaming. I'd also be refusing to rent it. That should be 100% the owner's responsibility, or whoever owns the vehicle that is broken. In no way should it be Mike and your responsibility, especially with a baby on the way! If he does go ahead and rent it, make sure he gets it in writing that they will reimburse him by a certain date. This sounds like a potential nightmare.

sneaking in quick:rolleyes1

Lyzziesmom...I'm so proud of you for doing so well w/your car. Being willing to walk away does wonders ;):cool1: congrats!!!

Nicole..sorry your check bounced! that's insane! Hope they fix any problems it might have caused. Oh, got your card yesterday:cloud9: that was so cute!!! thank you:hug:

Amber...yes, it goes so quick and Spencer will be here before you know it. It'll be ok. you'll be ready:hug: No way should Mike have to pay the rental fees:mad: !!

Thanks everyone. :grouphug:

Mike pretty much has to rent the vehicle. If he doesn't then accounts won't get their orders, they will be pissed, plus Mike won't get paid (he gets commission on his sales). So, he's stuck. They used to have a backup vehicle, but then it died and they never replaced it. :headache:

He wants to find another job, but they are few and fair between (especially making what he currently does).

Thanks everyone. :grouphug:

Mike pretty much has to rent the vehicle.

:guilty: sorry Amber!! That really sucks!

5 STUDENTS PASSED THE FREAKING TEST! Drives me crazy! They really don't get that this class does require them to work...

Well, I'm gonna make brownies!!!!!
wow, that’s crazy! Brownies sure sound good!! Yum!

Trick or Treat is over!!!:dance3
3 big handfuls!! Kenny would have been giving you hugs and kisses for that LOL
5 hours…wow..ours was 5:30-7.
pumpkin pics:

They're piled up on the couch now, watching TV. The kids, not the pumpkins.
awesome pumpkins Dznyfan!!

Lilly was a Honey Pot. I am on the lap top and don't have access to the pictures. I will try to post them tomorrow.

Nick went out with a buddy. He was Dr McDreamy:thumbsup2 Matt went to the movies:confused3

Blake sat on the porch with a cooler of beers for the dads that came by:rotfl2:

Have a great night
I can’t wait to see pics of Lilly! Omg, that is so cool! beer for the dads, I bet they LOVE him!

17!!!! I can just wait for the nasty emails and phone calls from parents who think it is my fault their child wasn't prepared...
Seriously??? Oh I could never do your job. I’d have to tell them how it is ;)

You know, Lin, a good friend of mine is a teacher here, and she has the same problem. Kids don't have to take responsibility for themselves any more, parents always stepping in and make it the teacher's fault. she's sick of it.

Thanks, Michele!
I bet..that is ridiculous!

Chris hard at work with his very captive audience.

The finished product. We had a helluva time getting a good picture!
They look so cute!!! The dogs and the pumpkin ;)
Sorry I didn't make it by.....I really wanted to. If it had just been me and the kids, we would have surprised you.

Plus....I bet you handed out the GOOD candy!!!
That would have been so cool! I’d love to surprise someone like that!
Let's see - Reese's, Tootsie Roll Pops and Snickers.
My kids got a sack of sour stuff.
YUMMM
Well it took 5 hours of car shopping and hard decision-making (NOT one of my strengths!!) but I finally did it... I bought the car!!
You did a VERY good job!!!
A few pics...
Aww they looked SO cute!! Colton not trick or treating anymore… yup, all growed up :cool2:
Lyzziesmom- Congrats!!!!! That's so exciting!!!! I love the color of your car! Yes our trip might have to be rescheduled. I'm being my wishy washy self and debating the pros and cons right now.

I love trick or treating! I went with Steven's sister and my niece and nephew. I had a blast! We got a late start and there were hardly any kids out, so my nephew barely got any candy. But he still had a good time.
Rescheduling sounds good too. Glad you had fun trick or treating w/them…aren’t they so much fun!
We had a busy evening. Hopefully I can post a picture or two tomorrow.
Hey there YM! Hope to see some pics :woohoo: hope all is well. Getting excited for the big trip??? I sure am!!
"It's so easy even I can do it, and I'm just a kid
Oh, how cute. Sounds like she’s pretty proud of it :cloud9: ! Very cool!!
Good morning, everyone. Happy 1st of November!! I can't believe the time is going by so quickly!!!

How about a little something from Kona Cafe this morning??
PS..I guess you all heard about the Jan-Feb. AP room discounts. I think I'm driving myself CRAZY
I know..it has gone so quickly! I wish we were all on EE right now!!! Sorry Ashley, great photo opportunities there ;) LOL!!! Kenny can’t wait to ride it! I can’t wait to have Kona for the first time for real!!! AP rates huh??? Nice!!! Sounds fun!!
