Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 4

Thanks Nicole! It's hard to be excited right now, because I'm nervous about something happening while I'm on vacation like what happened in January when my tooth got infected and I was in unbearable pain!...but I'm trying to be positive!!! I can't wait until its behind me, too. I'll feel much happier!! And hopefully nothing else will happen with my teeth for a loooong time!! You know what makes me nervous, is that this is happening for NO reason! Like I said, nothing is wrong with the teeth.. no cavity, decay, nothing.. (thats why my dentist couldn't see it..)so what I'm wondering, is this going to happen to all of my teeth?!! Anyway, I guess my paranoia is getting to me :rolleyes1

Ash- Do you know if the Rockets won or lost last night? I saw some of the game last night but fell asleep before it was over. Please tell me they won! :teeth:

they lost :guilty: they sucked it up big time!!! Now its 2-1, Houston has won 2 games and Utah won their first last night. Oh well, thats ok, I still think they will win the series!! (atleast I hope so!!!)

t-mac is sad too :sad1:

2x: Glad to hear you had a nice birthday. I wasn't trying to rub anything in... believe me, you'd know if I was trying! I do remember loving the Love Boat (back when it was exciting and new) and Fantasy Island... de plane! de plane! Your niece talking baby talk -- that is so something Lyzzie would do! They are about the same age if I remember correctly, no? Such a fun age... not little anymore, but not quite big yet either.

Donna: Hope you're having fun at the zoo! I just love zoos, but the one here in KC leaves a bit to be desired. They keep changing owners, and it seems to be improving slightly this year but it's still just not that great. Lunch at 10:30am? That's crazy!! That's what Lyzzie's school did last week for the spring luncheon, it was very hard for me to eat pizza that early in the morning - especially since it was pretty bad pizza.

Ashley: I sure hope you get your teeth business worked out. Maybe after the root canal, the other tooth's nerve will be less irritated and won't need to be pulled? Just a little wishful thinking for you, toots. How excited are you getting about leaving in SEVEN DAYS??!? I haven't even started to think about packing yet, I usually wait until the day before we leave and then pack like a maniac! I am worried that I won't have enough contacts. I ordered them last week and they said it takes 7-10 days, they are shipped directly to me from the manufacturer so I can't even track it through the eye dr. I'm afraid they won't come before the trip and I don't have enough to last until I get back, and I can't see that well with my glasses! :3dglasses BUT the eye dr. assured me I can stop by and pick up a week or two worth of samples if my order arrives late. I just hope they woudn't charge for that! I am so bummed that I won't be able to do a Universal day like I originally wanted to, but it's just not in my budget. So I'll wave in your general direction while we are down there!! It sucks to be so close and not be able to meet up, but such is life. There's always Oct. 2008!! note to self: start saving those pennies!

I'm almost ready for my garage sale, the weather is improving so that's good.
Well, at least the sun is out but it's slow to warm up. I ran around this morning putting up signs - I just hope nobody steals them like they did last year at my mom's house!! Now all I need to do is haul everything out and set it up tomorrow morning, and price everything... ugh. I've got a few higher dollar items so with any luck I'll raise a pretty penny for WDW!

TGIF to my cliqueless pals!!

Donna again: Your breakfast - which looks delicious by the way - made me think... you must have a huge house with all those balconies and patios, not to mention all the breathtaking views!! :rotfl:

Lyzziesmom, thats what the dentist suggested about my other tooth! We shall see!! I know what you mean about waiting for stuff to be shipped, we just got some new phones because Ruby chewed up our charger :furious: and we didn't want to take the chance of them not coming in time for our trip so we had to pay an extra $30 for faster shipping. I hope your contacts come in time. I just remembered I have to get new sunglasses because she chewed those too!!! :headache: I hope your garage sale goes well. I have no idea why people would steal those signs!!!

BTW, I forgot to say, Happy Administrative Appreciation Day :teacher:

sorry the people at your job didn't do anything.

And I just thought this was funny

Lyzzie on RNR?? Yeah right, that'll never happen. She is terrified of going upside down. Somehow I can imagine Emma wanting to ride that one before Lyzzie will! I'll actually be very surprised if she doesn't chicken out on Space Mountain -- although I just know she'll love it if she will only TRY.
You know what.........I have a feeling that Courtney might ride Rock N Roller Coaster before Chase does too.

Chase is an odd one to figure out when it comes to certain things. He is a daredevil in a lot of ways. He will rollerblade down a big hill and try jumps. He will do tricks on his bicycle. He will jump off things. But when it comes to thrill rides…….he’s completely different.
Now, he has ridden a lot of the “thrill rides” at WDW – Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest, even Mission: Space – and a few at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. But he has not ridden Rock N Roller Coaster. He was tall enough last year, but we just couldn’t talk him into riding it.
Now, Courtney on the other hand………..she is ready to ride anything anytime. She wanted to go on all the rides last year, but just wasn’t tall enough. By the time we go back to WDW next year, she should be tall enough to ride most things.

t-mac is sad too :sad1:

Well, Tmac....If you had played better maybe you wouldn't be so sad.;) That pic cracks me up!:rotfl:

How excited are you getting about leaving in SEVEN DAYS??!? There's always Oct. 2008!! note to self: start saving those pennies!

You are too!!!!party: 7 days!!! I hope you make tons of money tomorrow!!!pixiedust:

I can't wait to finally meet everyone in 2008! Steven plays a pirate game online and he said yesterday that they are having a meet in Las Vegas in July, but we can't go because of the Nov trip. As much as I want to go to LV, I don't know any of those people. Steven has a general idea of who everyone here is, I talk about you guys and he's see pics. We were talking about the 2008 trip too, and he wanted to know if we were going to the parks too because he can't go to Orlando without going to the parks (Neither can I!). I said yes, so we would need to take a week off. He was like "How much is this vacation going to cost? A cruise and time at the parks!":rotfl: Time to start saving!!!

I emailed my teacher earlier to ask her what she wanted on the final paper for geography, and she said she did want activities and things to do included! I am so relieved! I was stressed out about it. I'm glad I didn't rely on what my classmate told me!

My teacher sent the email with her response and what I wrote to everyone in class. In her response she wrote "Thank you for being a excellent student." Now everyones going to think I'm teacher's pet or something. :faint: Oh well I guess there are worse things in life to be called.

Nicole: that was a good idea to double-check with your teacher. It sounds like you will have all the bases covered with your assignment - I'm sure you'll do great!

Pozey: Chase sounds a lot like Lyzzie. She sometimes can be so brave and fearless - her favorite WDW rides are EE and Mission: Space - but other times she is a downright chicken. She absolutely hated ToT. But last weekend at our local amusement park she wanted to try the big roller coaster for the first time - by herself! I had to tell her no, she needs to wait until I can ride it with her. She did however ride a spinning coaster-type "mad mouse" sort of ride by herself. It was actually really cute... Emma and I waited in the line with her and when it was time to get on the ride, these 3 teenaged girls offered to let her ride with them. They ooohed and aaaaahed over her like crazy and she just had the best time! But when they sat at the table next to us at lunchtime, Lyzzie would not even look at them because she was suddenly too shy. She is just so unpredictable, I never know which version of her I'm going to get. I'm NOT looking forward to the teen years!!

Emma on the other hand, is fearless. She right away pointed at the big inverted roller coaster and said, "I want to ride THAT roaster coaster!"

Oh yay! My work friend just invited me to lunch with her today so I don't have to go home & do laundry!! We are going for Mexican, which is not one of my favorites but I'm sure I'll find something yummy.

Slight vent: When calling a business, please do not tell the receptionist that something is an emergency unless it involves ill or injured family members. Most offices have a system in place for true emergencies, which are handled quite differently than simply a customer with a complaint. Not to mention it diminishes the effeciency of the emergency system, and wastes our time and resources. Vent over, thank you for reading.

Coming from a former teacher's pet, there are definitely worse things. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, it just shows that you are a good student and have the skills to carry you far in school, work and life. Congratulations!!

Sure is quiet around here today........

Linda----I need you to talk to my sister. She takes Synthroid but she told me recently that she isn't always faithful in taking it. :scared1: No wonder she is always so worn out and tired-----gotta take it seriously and take the meds!!!
Darling cake!!!! Love the Gucci.
Kenny cracks me up----I can't believe he told you that your boss cancelled work. Smart kid!!
Too bad his game was cancelled, but best to be safe, especially with tornado warnings.
Do tell what Mike did to your pampered chef pan. (hopefully it's not embarrassing). HI MIKE!!!!:3dglasses
YES!!!she needs to take it everyday! Trust me:eek: I have to admit, I'm just as bad, Mike lays my pills out for me:rotfl: I have went several days w/o it and omg... its not good. Not only does everything go crazy, but the cyst on my thyroid gets larger and is painful and very bothersome, like someone is squeezing your throat! NOT GOOD!!
Kenny always comes up w/some good ones :cloud9: he's so rotten!
Actually he was only sitting it into the sink and it just broke! But I think this is the 2nd time it was replaced!

I had to laugh this morning---my dad called to wish me a happy birthday and actually sang. I was cracking up. Then my nephew and niece called and we chatted a bit. My niece told me that Luca (the little one) wanted to talk but he was sleeping, so she pretended to be him----baby talk and all. I guess she doesn't know what long-distance charges are yet.:lmao: My nephew (the 6 yr. old) just wanted to hear about my car and at the very end of our conversation said happy birthday. He has a one track mind----cars!!!!
how adorable! What a sweet dad! Gotta tell him about that new car:cool1: nothin' wrong w/a one track mind! we have free long distance:woohoo: no worries there! Baby talk:rotfl2: how cute!!!

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna! Have fun at the zoo!

Linda- That's too bad the game got cancelled. At least you got off work early!
I figured it would be w/a tornado warning...but I was leaving early anyway! I had to get my stone, I could have rescheduled...but NAHHH I love leaving early!!

My teeth feel pretty painful right now.
:guilty: :grouphug: sorry Ashley!!

maybe its about control, if Chase is riding on his rollerblades, he's in control..on a ride, you're not in control. My co-worker that has a vette loves to race, and drive crazy but won't step foot on ANY coaster:lmao: he says its b/c he's not in control. I believe that w/him...but I still like to tease him about it.

Tell Steven No LV...gotta save for our trip:rotfl: if you do a land/sea pkg for 2 in a lower cat. should be $1600-2k depends how far in advance you book. I was looking at $2400 for the 3 of us, I think.

My teacher sent the email with her response and what I wrote to everyone in class. In her response she wrote "Thank you for being a excellent student." Now everyones going to think I'm teacher's pet or something. :faint: Oh well I guess there are worse things in life to be called.
:rotfl: could be worse! I was teachers pet too:rolleyes1

lyzziesmom... good luck w/the garage sale!!

Donna...hope you're surviving the zoo!

Well, the funeral went very well. Other than his EX showing up:rolleyes: but everyone kept the peace and didn't say anything.

Mike got an email from the atty about the case w/his son...he IS ordered to pay it to him:eek: :sad2:  un-freaking believable!!

So...our one year anniversary has been rather eventful to say the least. but you'll have that. its just life sometimes.
here are a few of my faves:cloud9:

Good morning, Crew!! well, today is our field trip to the zoo. According to our itinerary we are supposed to eat lunch as soon as we get there; like about 10:30am!! Think of me eating a bologna and cheese sack lunch at that time of the morning...yeech!! I may take my own peanut butter and jelly.:rolleyes1 We are free to enjoy the zoo from 11am until 2:45.
Yes, 2x2s, we are riding the bus. Lucky me!!! I have the tank filled with gas; just in case there's no room on the bus.:scared: I'll be sure to wave and honk at you!!!

Now for breakfast. I have to fix us something in a hurry today, because I'll have some last minute items I have to get together for the day.
Here is one of my favorite breakfasts!!!:goodvibes

patio.jpg

I hope you all have a Fabulous Friday!!!!
beach3.gif

Sorry I missed breakfast.:guilty: I was visiting one of my sisters; we tried to get in to see Al Gore... But didn't make on time:sad2: I guess I should have flown... We had fun anyway, it's been a while since I have seen her, and so it was good. I am from a litter of 7, all still vary close. :grouphug:
How was your ZOO trip? ;)
I hope the breakfast wasn't wasted. (I usually eat so much!), and I didn't even show up. I'll be there in the morning...:goodvibes

OMG LINDA!! He has to PAY that little ba#@&^d??? I can't even believe it! I am so mad for you right now, you don't even know.

Speaking of mad, I could have just about killed my mom this afternoon. I got a call from the school, "We have Elyzabeth here, her grandmother was supposed to pick her up so she didn't get on the bus, and the school is closed and nobody came to get her." My mom - whose idea it was to pick her up early in the first place to make sure she got to Girl Scouts on time - FORGOT what time to go get her!! Poor Lyzzie was all alone at the school for an HOUR! She did end up making it to GS on time, thank goodness, but what really made me mad more than anything was that my mom didn't even apologize to me, she just acted like it was no big deal since everything worked out in the end. That's not the point!!

I had to call my dr's office today to get a refill since my pain Rx runs out while I'll be in WDW - they had me on hold for over 10 minutes, and then by the time they answered, they said I have to wait until Monday because the office JUST closed 5 minutes ago. Grrrrrr!!! And they will only give me a one-week refill, which is fine except for the fact that I have the same $40 copay no matter how many pills are in the bottle. But while I had them on the phone, I did get some of the billing stuff somewhat resolved (hopefully).

I got caught in a hailstorm on the way home. I had to stop at the bank to get cash to use as change for the garage sale... missed the closing time by 5 minutes so I went to the driveup window but it's been so long since I've done that, that I forgot how to get money without using my card! D'oh! I decided to hit the ATM and get change somewhere else, but the dang machine wouldn't take my card and that's when the hail started, of course it was coming into my car SIDEWAYS. It was so loud, I couldn't even hear Emma in the backseat crying with fear until it subsided.

My contacts came today... in a soaking wet box that was left on the porch. And there was only one box for each eye instead of four (which is what I paid for). Apparently the dr's office put in the order wrong. It's a good thing I have to wait until Monday to call them, because in the mood I'm in I would probably give them an earful they don't deserve!

All in all, it's been a stressful afternoon. I just keep telling myself.... 7 days, 7 days, 7 days.

MEEEEEESHELLLL!!!!! How are you???? Still a busy girl?? How's Lilly?? Cute as a button, I'm sure.
When is your last day of school?? Are you counting down the days?? Do you work summer school?? ----wow, we're playing 20 questions here.:rotfl2:
I'm so bummed, I don't know if you recall me mentioning a while back that my family may go to WDW in June?? Well, nothing has ever come of it, so I highly doubt it will happen. I know my mom tried to get something together, but with my schedule and my sister's, just couldn't work it out. I was so looking forward to possibly seeing you and Lesa and saying hello----and meeting your mom. Maybe next time.

Hi hon!! Darn it.. I was looking forward to seeing you again, and I wanted you to meet my mom!! I'm glad you had a nice birthday:cool1:

I'm almost ready for my garage sale, the weather is improving so that's good.

Good luck with your garage sale! I hate doing them...they are exhausting!

NO WAY!!! I can't believe his son gets that money!!!

All in all, it's been a stressful afternoon. I just keep telling myself.... 7 days, 7 days, 7 days.

7 days!! How lucky!!

Linda, I CANNOT believe that Mike was ordered to pay that money!!! That is pretty shocking. I'm so sorry.

Good morning puppies!!!!

Since everyone is still sleepy this morning, how about some sugar to get us going??

Funnel cake anyone??

Dig in....................(excuse me, that's my piece--hands off:lmao: )
