Of course I loved Charlie's Angels.

But I may be in the minority........I always thought Kate Jackson was the best looking girl of the bunch.

Did you guys watch American Idol last night? For some silly reason I let Lyzzie stay up to watch the "most shocking results -- EVER!!" (and boy oh boy has she got a huge case of the crabball this morning) and I was SO disappointed. I got the same feeling as when I was in college and I stayed up until 3am to watch the end of Thelma & Louise on television... if I had known THAT was how it would end I wouldn't have invested so much in watching it! However I'm glad we watched, because Lyzzie asked a lot of questions that were very hard to answer but really opened her eyes -- such as what is malaria? what is AIDS? why can't those people read? and why are those kids so poor if they're in America and not in Africa?

I completely forgot that Lyzzie has a Girl Scout overnight sleepover tomorrow night -- which means she won't be able to help me set up for the garage sale, and will be a crabby useless mess after she gets home on Saturday morning. My mom suggested postponing the sale, but I really want to try to raise some extra spending cash before heading to WDW so that's not an option. I'm so stressed out and disappointed in myself that I forgot!

I never really got into the Angels, I think it was a little bit *cough cough* before my time. I do remember seeing my grandpa watch it when I was really young, but it didn't interest me at that age - Sesame Street was more my style. I do like the hairdo of the one on the left though!

Lyzzie on RNR?? Yeah right, that'll never happen. She is terrified of going upside down. Somehow I can imagine Emma wanting to ride that one before Lyzzie will! I'll actually be very surprised if she doesn't chicken out on Space Mountain -- although I just know she'll love it if she will only TRY.

We're having another gloomy wet day here in KC -- it looks like it's about 8pm out there right now. Please please please clear up for the weekend!! I woke up this morning with the scratchy throat and snuffy nose the kids have had... not bad enough to stay home but bad enough to sound froggy on the phone, which is always lovely for a receptionist.

Speaking of which... Admin Professionals Day came and went yesterday with NO recognition whatsoever from the employer. Somehow this doesn't surprise me around here, but it's still a little bit of a letdown. This company is seriously lacking in employee recognition & appreciation.

2x: sorry to gross you out on the toe story! I had to wear sandals this morning because it hurts today so my tootsies are freezing! I still have the bandaid on -- I'm too chicken to peel it off and see what's going on under there. I was the same way after I had rods put into my broken arm... I wouldn't look at it for months! I'm such a chicken. Bwawk bwawk!

Ohhh I just remembered the funniest thing this morning

Kenny woke up before I left for work, he came in the bathroom while I was doing my hair and makeup. He comes and tells me that my boss' just called and cancelled work today and I can stay home w/him all day long!! don't I wish!!! It was so cute. I asked him a few times if he was lying and he had this smirk trying not to laugh it was adorable!

naturally, I leave work early and Kennys game gets cancelled! I guess being under a tornado watch is a good enough excuse though I even got to meet up w/my pampered chef lady and get my bar pan that she replaced for me Mike accidentally had a little accident w/my old one. Thank goodness they're guaranteed!

Thank you all for the birthday wished and the beautiful cakes!!!! I think I gained ten pounds by just looking at them!!!

I had a good day----really this morning----then I had to work, but that's okay. I will celebrate this weekend by going out to dinner with my parents and possibly Monday night with some friends. The friends dinner may be postponed a bit, depending on time.

I had to laugh this morning---my dad called to wish me a happy birthday and actually sang. I was cracking up. Then my nephew and niece called and we chatted a bit. My niece told me that Luca (the little one) wanted to talk but he was sleeping, so she pretended to be him----baby talk and all. I guess she doesn't know what long-distance charges are yet. My nephew (the 6 yr. old) just wanted to hear about my car and at the very end of our conversation said happy birthday. He has a one track mind----cars!!!!

Anyway, all in all a good day-----thank you all again---you're the best!!!! I am going to go catch up with today's chatter.

Underdog----glad I made you smile with the flashback. My sister and I used to love Charlie's Angels. We, along with the neighbor girl, used to play Charlie's Angels (we were in grade-school) and like I told Donna, came up with some pretty interesting storylines.
Isn't it funny that Farrah Faucet was the most popular and well-known, but when it comes right down to it---most guys preferred Kate Jackson.

Good morning, Crew!! well, today is our field trip to the zoo. According to our itinerary we are supposed to eat lunch as soon as we get there; like about 10:30am!! Think of me eating a bologna and cheese sack lunch at that time of the morning...yeech!! I may take my own peanut butter and jelly. We are free to enjoy the zoo from 11am until 2:45.
Yes, 2x2s, we are riding the bus. Lucky me!!! I have the tank filled with gas; just in case there's no room on the bus. I'll be sure to wave and honk at you!!!

Now for breakfast. I have to fix us something in a hurry today, because I'll have some last minute items I have to get together for the day.

Good Morning everyone!!

TGIF!!! My weekend will be pretty busy, I will probably be cleaning, doing laundry and packing for my trip!!! I have to pick up acouple things at Target like contact solution, etc...

2x, I hope you had a nice birthday!! My teeth feel pretty painful right now. I'm waiting though until its an absolute emergency to call back, I called yesterday though and they seem accomodating if it is an emergency. The plan right now is to wait until May 9, the day after we get home, to have another re-evaluation and schedule one of the root canals. I'm thinking maybe I should just call and schedule the root canal though because I don't want to wait much longer than that.I don't have the money to get both root canals, and pay for two crowns so I'll have to get the last tooth pulled. The dentist isn't happy about that, ofcourse neither am I, especially since nothing is wrong with the tooth itself- no decay or anything, just the nerves, but I can't live with the pain anymore.

Linda, sorry Kenny's game was canceled!! That stinks.

I hope Amber is having fun!!!
