Good Morning!

2X- Thanks for the funnel cake!

Linda- I can't believe Mike has to pay him!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Betts:hippie: ----lovely breakfast yesterday!!! Thank you once again. Great setting----boy, you have a green thumb!!!:thumbsup2 (pretend the thumb is green)
How was the Zoo?? Was it crowded since it was a pretty day?? (if I recall:confused3 ) I saw on the news the other day that there are two new little "kitty cats" of some sort that they just released for show. Were you able to see them??

Ash---I know your tooth situation is both extremely painful and worrisome, but try your best to have some fun. Maybe just being there will get your mind off some of the troubles. Can you call your dentist/endodontist and see what they recommend you bringing along with you just in case it would bother you more??
Have fun packing----remember your comfy shoes.

Lyzziesmom---yes, I do believe that Isabella and Lyzzie are around the same age. She turned 8 last December. It is a funny age----so grown up, but still a little girl.
I hope your garage sale is going well. How early did you have to get up this morning?? I bet you already had people waiting to get in though-----those early birdies.
How was your lunch yesterday??
OMG---just read about your mom forgetting to pick Lyzzie up. I agree, it's not the point even if everything worked out-----it's the fact that Lyzzie was alone ----how traumatizing for her.
Take a deep breath-------6 days.

Michele----I'm sure I will get to meet your mom one of these days. HI MAUREEN!!!!
How are things going for you?? Is the house coming together nicely??

Pozey---:lmao: somehow that doesn't surprise me that Courtney has no problem on thrill rides. It's amazing what some kids (and grown-ups) will or will not do. Wow, Chase has ridden Mission Space???? (where's the green pukey smilie??) Maybe one day he will get up the nerve to ride RnR ------easy for me to say!!

Nicole----yep, best start saving the pennies for the 2008 adventure.
I wouldn't worry what others think----you were just making sure you did the assignment correctly.

Linda----:scared1: :scared1: OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I cannot believe the judge ruled in their favor!!!!! :sad2: Unreal!!!!! I am just shaking my head as I read this!!!!! Did they say on what grounds?? Oh, I feel so bad for you guys!!!! :grouphug: :grouphug: I am sooooo sorry!!!!
Did Kenny do alright at the funeral??
Wow, what a week you've had!!!! You have such a great outlook though.

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO LINDA AND MIKE!!!!

Underdog----I'm glad you had a good time visiting your sister. Wow, one of seven kids!! Do you all live in the same area, or spread out across country??
Don't worry, there is always enough breakfast!!! That's the lovely thing about a cyber breakfast----any time of day it's plentiful and yummy.
Thanks for the personalized edit!!! Love it!!:cool2:

Lesa----how are ya???

Lin-----Hey girl!!!

DznyFan---is Erin up and around yet??
How are you doing??

Hi Angela!!!!

Hi April!!!!

Hi Sherri!!!!

YM---have fun at the wedding!!!:bride:

I need to continue cleaning the house.:laundy:
Everyone have a good day!!!

Dznyfan----I saw something on the Today Show this morning that reminded me of you. Bon Appetit mag. had guy on the show telling about the "newest" thing in vacations---------food tours. Different cities/countries have specialized structured tours that give vacationers a real "taste" of the area----experiencing the flavors and authentic feel for the region. Sound familiar?? Areas in the States have walking tours----San Fran., NYC, Chicago, etc. and they even showed a bicycle tour of Provence, France----sampling the tastes of the region-----lavender fields, honey farms, etc.

I wonder if Epcot Food & Wine had any influence???:confused3 :confused3 :cutie:

How simply divine for foodies. (like some we know;) )

I just thought of you since you were so vivid in the description of your trip to NYC and said that you like to eat like the locals-----exactly how they described this "new" idea.

OMG LINDA!! He has to PAY that little ba#@&^d??? I can't even believe it! I am so mad for you right now, you don't even know.

Speaking of mad, I could have just about killed my mom this afternoon.

I had to call my dr's office today to get a refill

All in all, it's been a stressful afternoon. I just keep telling myself.... 7 days, 7 days, 7 days.
I think I'm going to sneak in your suitcase:laughing: it HAS been a stressful week. No way did I think that little ungrateful brat would have a chance at winning, neither did the atty! Mike thinks their atty paid the judge off:rotfl: that is about the only way it could have went in their favor! OMG I can't believe your mom forgot Lyzzie!!! She should have called someone if she wasn't sure of the time! I would be furious too, regardless of it working out in the end:confused3 !!Then the Dr. yes.. less than a week and you'll be at wdw:cloud9:

NO WAY!!! I can't believe his son gets that money!!!
Is that just insane or what!! I'm glad Kennys college fund is in a 529 plan and not just a fund in their name ;)

Linda and Mike....

untitled.jpg
Awww Thank you so much! The church had a dinner after the funeral, so Mike said that as our anniversary dinner:lmao: funny guy! We decided to go out Thurs. night since we knew Fri. would be hectic!
Linda, I CANNOT believe that Mike was ordered to pay that money!!! That is pretty shocking. I'm so sorry.
I know, we're both in disbelief! It is a lot of $ and has to be paid in 60 days, so he's not really happy about it, but not much you can do about it. I can tell you, Mike wants nothing to do w/him ever again. Its so sad!

Good morning puppies!!!!

Since everyone is still sleepy this morning, how about some sugar to get us going??

Funnel cake anyone??

Dig in....................(excuse me, that's my piece--hands off:lmao: )

funnel_cake_vendor.jpg

hmmm, shall we now head over to Peter Pan in Fantasyland??

EVERYONE HAVE A STAR-GAZING SATURDAY!!!!!
YUMMM I love funnel cakes!!! Thank you pin-cess!

Good Morning!

2X- Thanks for the funnel cake!

Linda- I can't believe Mike has to pay him!

Have a great Saturday everyone!
I know...I see these wdw trips and cruises just flying right out of our pockets:sad2: j/k... you'll have that. It really sucks. He might have won that $, but he's lost much more than that in the end!

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO LINDA AND MIKE!!!!
well, they were saying he was in contempt b/c his divorce decree said he had to put that amount in funds for ea. son, which he did. Everyone knew it was their college funds, the kid even admitted it, but b/c it didn't say anything in the decree that those funds were specifically for college, he's outta luck. You'll have that. Its just not worth being mad over anymore. We'll pay it and go on. Thanks so much. That year FLEW by!

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY LINDA!!!!!!!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!!!

good morning cliquers!!!

wow, what happened yesterday?? You'd think it was the middle of springtime with beautiful weather or something.;) (or some are getting ready for vacation;) )
Hope it was a great Saturday for all!!!

Linda----what a romantic guy Mike is!!! an anniversary dinner at the funeral home.:lmao: nahhhh, we know better----you are his true Princess-----I love the wedding pictures----I haven't seen them in a while---now that I've met you all, they are that much sweeter.
I can't believe the judge got him on a technicality like that!!!! It is really sad that money can rule relationships like that.

What are you going to do on your big day???? Have fun!!!!!:bday: party:

Everyone have a lovely Sunday!!!!

Today will be busy for me---I am going to a home tour with a friend, then I have to run over to my aunt's house to drop something off, then I am meeting my parents for dinner for a belated birthday celebration, then back to their house for cake, then home for some sleep and work early in the morning. And, wouldn't you know it, everthing is spread out all across the city, so I will be putting plenty of miles on that new car!!!! I best scrounge up some pennies to fill the gas tank (or shall I say scrounge up the $20 bills:scared1: ).
Oh, and I forgot to mention a quick Target run this morning and then over to that same friend's house early to do eyebrows before we leave for the home tour. whew!!!

Good morning, everyone!!! 2x2s,thanks for the delicious funnel cake and cafe mochas yesterday!!! I had to wait until this morning to enjoy, but it was delicious!!!
I stayed off the Dis yesterday...too much to do. I had to run errands in the morning and designated the rest of the afternoon for intensive housecleaning and de-cluttering. :scared: I missed you guys, but the house looks much better!!:teeth:

How about hopping the monorail to the Kona Cafe for a little brunch??

Konab3.jpg

I hope you all have a Super Sunny Special Sunday!!!

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY LINDA!!!!!!!!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!!!
Oh Thank you! That is an AWESOME cake!!! Thank you so much. Of coarse Kenny is teasing me saying that I look 30 now too:rotfl: that little turkey!

Thankfully the dinner was at the church afterwards  Kenny had fun writing in a card for me. It was a T-rex of coarse :) Mikes card was telling me to have fun quick b/c you get tired faster when you're old...like 30:lmao: then I had to remind him hes OLDER than me ;)!!! I don't think we're going to do much today. Its been such a crazy week, I think I just wanna chill. Maybe have some cake and steak dinner on the grill! Have fun, sounds like you've got quite a busy day planned. It doesn't take long to rack up those miles. My car now has 240k miles:eek: Have fun celebrating your birthday:grouphug: :woohoo: Have fun at the home tours. that would be fun!

Happy Birthday Linda

I hope you have a blast on your Special Day!!!
How adorable! Thank you Donna!!:cloud9:

Well, yesterday Kenny had a soccer game:scared1: it was a muddy mess and they had a BLAST! Our boys were covered in mud and the other team had a few girls on their team and didn't want to get muddy...we won 6-0 and we had the smallest kid as the goalie! It was a lot of fun. Then in the 3rd qtr. Kenny asks to go out, that his belly hurt. So, I head over there to see what is wrong and he says...my belly hurts, can we leave now to see Louis? :lmao: Which is the dog he's been wanting to see!! I was ready to kick his bootie. I told him to get back in that game and he's not leaving early to go see a dog! :rotfl:

Kennysoccer04-5.jpg

Kennysoccer04-3.jpg

I am going to stick some trashbags in the truck so he can sit on from now on :rotfl: I had him sit on a blanket...and did lots of laundry as soon as we got home. It was fun though!!

I'm Back!!! I am trying to catch up on what has happened while I have been away.

The trip was good and bad.

The good points: The weather was great. It only rained for two minutes on Friday, but otherwise it was nice. I got to see the Laugh Floor Comedy Club; that was really cute. The Flower and Garden Festival was nice. Epcot was beautiful. I was able to find the tea lights I collect (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy's, etc houses) at the outlet for $20 a piece (they are normally $50-100). The food was amazing; we did change up our plans a bit and missed a couple meals, but we did get the chance to try the Brown Derby. I LOVED it. The Mexico ride is cute too. We also learned the joys of park hoppers. We are usually commandos, but this time we took it slow, took breaks during the day, and it was awesome.

The bad: My mom and I are not speaking to one another. She screamed at me in the middle of Epcot (long story, but I was having trouble finding her keys and she said if I didn't give them to her, she would call security). She got nasty with us on several occassions, but during the times she was acting sane, we had a good time with her.

On the drive home, she got very nasty with Mike, calling him names and telling us to get out of the car (in NC). We made it home, but I want nothing more to do with her. She hurt my feelings more than she will ever know and I have no idea what brought it on. All I wanted to do was show her a good time, but it just ended so horribly. I was in tears most of the trip.

Mike sister and mom did join us Thursday and Friday. We had a great time with them. We did mention to them that we may come back in Sept, but didn't comfirm anything. I think that if they do come, we will just meet up with them in the parks and not worry about spending all our time with them.

It's strange to be back and I wish I were still there. I took MANY pictures and am trying to get them uploaded. I'll share with you soon.

Amber!!! Welcome back! I am so sorry about your mom. I can't believe she would treat you like that.:sad2: :grouphug: But that's great you had a good time with Mike's sister and mom. I can't wait to see the pics!

Hi everyone! I didn't miss as much as I thought I would around here yesterday. The garage sale went well - we brought in almost $300! Lyzzie sold everything of hers except one pair of shoes, I couldn't believe it. We were busy the whole day, with only two or three periods of no customers just long enough to take a potty break. My parents came over at 7am to help set up and ended up staying the whole day. One lady bought two pieces of furniture and after she paid and loaded up her car, she told me her husband would come back for the other piece... at 9pm! After the kids were in bed, I started to get nervous about being home alone with a stranger coming, so my parents came over and the guy didn't even show up! We left the piece on my porch and as I turned out the lights at 10:30 I saw someone out there taking it. I hope it was the guy, and not some random person stealing it!!

Since my folks stayed all day, it was a lot less stressful than I was expecting. The kids ended up playing out back in a tub of water and poor Emma is a little bit sunburned today. We've just been doing a lot of laying around the house today, we're all pretty wiped out! We did make it out to the mall to buy Disney Dollars with our earnings - they remembered us from last week! I guess not too many people around here buy the Dollars.

Happy anniversary and birthday to Linda! Kenny teasing you reminded of when I was 29 and Lyzzie got confused and asked me in all seriousness, "How does it feel to be 92?"

Amber: Welcome back!! I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad time with your mom. I always dread family trips for exactly that reason. It's just not a vacation unless Dad curses somebody out. I think it just gets so stressful with so much togetherness, and everyone is trying so hard to have a good time, and one person's bad mood can ruin things for everyone. I hope you get things resolved, and next time you two need to just take off alone and not tell anyone!

Well the kids are quietly occupied so I think I'm going to take a much-needed rest (and maybe grab one of 2x's funnel cakes, yummmm!). Hi to everyone else and I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Happy Birthday, Linda! How was your special day?

happy_birthday-2.gif

Hello, to all the other Cliqueless DISers! :wave2: Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Awww Thank you Nicole, Ashley, lyzziesmom and Bonnie!

lyzziesmom..way to go on the garage sale! That $ will really help:banana: you'll have to let us know about the AKL rumor we heard...do the dvc tour and get a night there free ;) how does it feel to be 92:lmao: that's adorable!!

Amber...I'm so sorry about your mom:grouphug: I went a few years w/o speaking to my mother as well:guilty: She would get away w/treating us that way as kids...but not anymore ;)I am so sorry she made your trip so miserable!!! That is awesome you got the tea lights for such a great price!:cool1: I CANT wait to see your pix!!!

well today was fantastic...we just chilled:cool2: watched a few movies...ate some brownies...just what I needed. At dinner Kenny says "mom, I'm sorry your b-day is doomed...we're not eating cake for dinner":rotfl: silly boy!!

welcome watersbland :) join in w/us anytime!

well...I think I'm going to enjoy some more chillin'. I told Mike I needed to get some practice. Since the card he got me had a joke about getting old and getting tired easy now that you're 30:rotfl2:

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I remember those days!! I would keep a blanket in the van for Matt to wrap up in because I would literally strip him down to his underwear before I let him in!!

I'm Back!!! I am trying to catch up on what has happened while I have been away.

I am glad you had fun, in spite of your mom!! I can't believe after everything you went thru making sure she understood what it was going to be like that it turned out like this!! I'm so sorry!!

Good job on the garage sale...they are exhausting!!

Good evening, Crew!! I can't believe it's almost 8p on Sunday night!! Boy, did this weekend fly by!! The weather was PERFECT; today was 83 degrees!!:woohoo:
Nathan's zoo trip on Friday turned out to be fun. The weather was predicted to be in the low 60's, but turned out much warmer and the sun even decided to shine. :sunny: We got home about 6pm that night and I was delighted to just hit the couch. I think Nathan was pretty tired too. At the zoo he complained that he just didn't think he could walk anymore!!! Some of the other kids were complaining too !!! :rotfl2: Wimps!!!:lmao:

YourMajesty:: How was the wedding?? I'll bet your a pretty tired Queenie today.:cloud9:

2x2s::I think I thanked you for the funnel cake and cafe mochas yesterday, but thanks again!!! And a ride on Peter Pan. Ironically I still have a fastpass from Feb. for that and Splash Mtn.:scratchin
I hope you enjoyed your day today...sounds like it was a busy one!!

Linda:: I'm sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Anniversary!!! Happy Anniversary!!!
Kenny's soccer pics were so cute!!! His wanting to go play with Louis the dog instead of playing soccer?? He had that one all figured out didn't he??
Wow!! That's just not right that Mike has to pay his stepson!! Someday his son is going to regret acting that way and just for the $$$!! Just such a shame.
Oh no!!! I just read where you posted that Kenny said your birthday is doomed!! That Kid!!!

lyzziesmom:: Sounds like you had a productive day yesterday!!! Woo-Hoo for the Disney dollars!!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Amber:: Welcome back!!! I'm sorry to hear about your mom!! I feel so bad for you!! I'm happy to hear the weather was good and you enjoyed the Brown Derby!!!

Nicole:: Way to go on your paper!!! That's really cool that your teacher complimented you!!! I guess the paper is due tomorrow?

Ashley:: How is the tooth doin'?? I hope you can find something to alleviate the pain. Just think of your trip and all the fun you'll be having at Universal!!

Hi, watersbland!!! Join us anytime!!
