Hey everyone! Sorry I went MIA for a bit, lots of things going on around here!

Lets see, Linda, I am so sorry for the loss of Mikes uncle and for Mike having to pay out his son. You guys really impress me with your great attitude towards everything regardless. Happy late Birthday and Anniversary!!!

Ashley, sorry to hear about your tooth still being a pain. I keep praying for ya girl!! Have a great time in Florida.

Lyzziesmom, glad your garage sale went so well! My moms community garage sale was this Saturday (from 8AM-Noon ) and she sold some of my stuff, made 50.00 for vacation!

Well, Chris and I are debating on selling our house and builiding a new one. Our community is going downhill and we want to get out before the market notices. We spent Friday looking at communities and trying to decide how big of a house we need. Plus, I have been trying to set up interviews for teaching jobs and since this is a new field for me I dont' know what to expect on turn-around time after an interview. Its making me nervous.

I also realized a couple of days ago that Chris's birthday is next Tuesday, my moms is next Friday and then Mothers Day on Sunday. All would be well and good if I didn't have to drive 5 hours to Lubbock on Friday to through 2 wedding showers Saturday and a baby shower on Sunday! Time is spinning out of control!!!!!

To make you smile.....

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off
the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item from her and
I asked her not to do that.

"Why?" my daughter asked.

"Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been. It's
dirty and probably had germs." I replied.

At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked,
"Mommy, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart."

I was thinking quickly. "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test.
You have to know it, or they don't let you be a mommy."

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently
pondering this new information.

"OH... I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test, you have to
be the daddy."

"Exactly!" I replied back with a big smile on my face.

When you're finished laughing, send this to a Mom.

It seems like we have a bit of a love interest going on between the boys behind us (7 & 8) and Brittany. For days the boys have been hanging over the fence spying on Brittany, we even caught them with binoculars. David was talking to their dad yesterday and the dad was saying how it looks like a bit of young love going on. David told him that he could tell that when the boys broke out the binoculars (their dads face went from to )

David put the trampoline up yesterday and boy did the neighborhood kids come out of the woodwork. All winter you would have thought my girls were the only two kids that lived on the block, but word got out and I had 10 kids here yesterday, including the love struck boys.

Nathan's zoo trip on Friday turned out to be fun. The weather was predicted to be in the low 60's, but turned out much warmer and the sun even decided to shine.We got home about 6pm that night and I was delighted to just hit the couch. I think Nathan was pretty tired too. At the zoo he complained that he just didn't think he could walk anymore!!! Some of the other kids were complaining too !!! Wimps!!!

I have been so busy lately I haven't had time to really post anything. I think the only major thing I missed was Linda's anniversary. Sorry sweetie!!

Last Friday, over a week ago, because of all the VT copycats, plus the fact that it was the anniversary of Columbine I asked both the boys to keep their cell phones on them during the day.

A few minutes later my phone rings...it is Matt...He is saying they are at lunch, there was a bomb threat and he is afraid for his life and wants to go home!! I might have been more worried if he wasn't laughing and I could hear all of his friends laughing. I told him to sit down, shut up and follow directions!

I spent several hours trying to get my pictures uploaded, but my computer was having issues. I have some that I will post and try to get the rest done this week. I am missing a memory card and some pictures are stuck on the cards I do have. I am hoping I can receover those and find the other card (it has about 700 pictures on it).

Trying to catch up on the weekend happenings….

Yeah, it’s funny………Chase LOVED Mission: Space. It was one of his favorite rides. And we rode the more intense side. His other favorite is Test Track. And I think it is all about control. He loves doing daredevil type things…….but only when he is in control.

My thyroid is fine, I go to see the doctor tomorrow to see why it was so swollen if the test came back with nothing. I guess that is a good thing. I still don't get the whole cholesterol thing.

well thank you. I guess the way I look at it is just silly to waste your energy worrying about or being upset about things you simply have no control over. I know people that get so insanely furious, worried, upset over things they can't do anything about what so ever and all it does is make you unhappy and isn't good for your body or your health. It just isn't worth it. I just do what I can with the things I do have control over and that is all you can do the rest is in gods hands.

I remember there are free ones online, but I've never used them as long as the card wasn't completely full, you should be able to recover them. From what I hear anyway! Good luck

Amber: I don't remember the name of the program I used. I just googled "free memory card recovery" and a whole bunch popped up. I actually used two of them, because one didn't get everything and the other one got most of the rest. They were very slow (it took all day to get 300 pictures) but definitely worth the time! Your pictures are so pretty - my favorite is the rose in front of the castle. Gorgeous!

Michele: Lilly's room looks so bright and cheerful! You did a great job.

Busy day today - corporate is coming but nobody seems to know when, so I've got to get my desk looking presentable. It's a wreck right now - I've been working on about 5 different things for month-end and I've got papers spread out everywhere!! But that's the way I work: if I put everything away, then I will forget to do it. Out of sight, out of mind, y'know?
