Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 3

Yeah, it has been awhile since I grilled steaks at home, but I remember last summer that filets were going for about $19 - $20 a pound. So, if they have them for $12.95 tomorrow……I’m stocking up. DW told me to get some roasts and lots of ground chuck as well. We have one of those food saver things at home. Where you shrink wrap food and take all the air out if it. We can seal the meat and keep it in the freezer.

The food saver has got to be the best thing going! We drive to Strasburgh, Ohio to purchase beef, and pork. It come from local farms, and is VERY fresh when it's purchased on Saturday. After we purchase 50 to 60 lbs. of different cuts, we drive to Kidron, Ohio for chicken. After loading up another 50 lbs. of breasts, and quarters we head for home. It takes a while to get it all sealed in the food saver bags and get it the freezer, but it's well worth it.

I'm sitting here sweating if you can believe it. Maddie has been running a fever all day and just wants to be held. With the cough she has I can tell her asthma is starting in, she has a bit of wheezing. Off to the dr tomorrow.

A quick funny Maddie story.......

Her and I are sitting her watching the news. I don't know what exactly the story was about, but they said something about $5000. She says "I wish I had $5000, but only rich people have that much." I asked her if she had that much what would she buy? She said she would buy herself a cell phone and an ipod.

awwww she's so adorable. I sure hope she gets to feeling better soon. I'm sweating too. My feet FREEZE at work so Mike finally gave me a pr. of his military socks to wear.... wooh..those puppies are WARM!! only rich people have 5k

Ohh...relaxing in a tanning bed sounds sooo good. I will have to pamper myself soon. I love to lay there in the 'sun' listening to Disney music on my iPod.

My feet get cold too!!! Right now I had to go turn the heat down......I think I'm having a hot flash.

Kenny and I baked some choc. chip cookies too! He just wanted to play in the dough. He only took one bite of a cookie I love warm fresh cookies out of the oven. Not to mention it makes the house smell so good

Mike told someone he was thinking of getting a winter time only job b/c it's cold and he gets too bored... I told him we wouldn't have that problem in a warmer climate but he wasn't buying it. Darn!

He's pretty open to the suggestion of a cruise, but insisted that Nathan go along, too. Like I'd go on a cruise and leave him home!!! This past Feb. is the first time I've ever been anywhere without him!!! Anyway, just thought I'd mention that.

Oh, I wanted to add .....with all the '08 cruise talk yesterday and today, that Oct. 17, 2008 will be mine and Gary's 20th wedding anniversary.
