Well I did it... I just booked for May!! I'll arrive late at night on the 4th and stay until late on the 10th, at ASMu, just me and Lyzzie. I might add Emma if my mom refuses to watch her. I got a good deal on Midwest Air, and was approved for a credit card that will give me $50 back plus I'll earn a ton of miles! I booked room only with the AP discount - since Lyzzie and I are not big eaters, we'll mostly just eat CS so we don't need the DDP anyway. I'm SO excited!!

Ashley: we will have to talk when you get your trip booked!

Lyzziesmom, yeah for booking your trip! Too bad it's after I leave. You'll be able to see the F&G festival. Have you ever been? Epcot is beautiful! I am so excited; this year they are suppose to have a pirate ship, complete with Peter Pan and Hook!

pozey, do you like your inlaws (or do you just tolerate them)? If you like them, then yeah! If not, I'm so sorry they are moving closer.

Amber: I went to the F&G festival last year, however, I was with Lyzzie's dad his parents and did not get the chance to enjoy it the way I really wanted to. It was all rush rush rush from one thing to another. I'm really hoping for some nice quality time with my daughter this time around! Too bad I'll miss you, but I had to go where the deals were good. I'm pretty sure the crowds are not too bad that time of year too - anyone got any crowd level information for early May??

Linda: I have no idea where to find that poster list. I think it was April who found it by accident. BTW - I got a PM from Sherri, she says that April is very busy with her new job and hasn't even had time to DIS in a while. It must be going really well, yay for her!

Well, actually, because of my chronic insomnia, sometimes I am!

Well, some good news……I guess……

DW’s parents live about 2 hours away from us. They live in a suburb of Oklahoma City. Anyway, DW’s dad retired several months ago and they have been thinking and talking about moving back to the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area. DW has 1 sister and she and her family live here as well.

They put their house on the market less than 2 weeks ago. DW just called and said they had an offer and they accepted. The buyer wants to close and move in within 30 days. The in-laws have been looking at houses in the Broken Arrow area for awhile now, and I think they have found something they like. It is a new home, so they could close on it and begin moving in immediately.

I get along great with the in-laws. I just had to throw in the obligatory in-law joke. In fact, I would say we are pretty close.

We (DW and I and the kids) have gone on vacation with them several times. A couple of times to WDW and a few times to Myrtle Beach.

It is a positive that they are moving here. They will be closer to their children (my DW and her sister) and their grandchildren. Since they lived a couple hours away, we would only see them if they came here or we drove up there for the weekend. This way, they can spend more time with the kids.

July is definitely HOT! I got married to my ex at the Wilderness Lodge w/a long sleeve dress at the end of June. OOPS!

Where do you guys purchase your beef? I know you guys compete in BBQ competitions, so I wondered if you purchased it somewhere in particular.

The reason I ask is that I got a flyer from Reasor’s in the mail yesterday. I guess they are having a pretty big meat sale beginning tomorrow. And I forget what it is, but they are giving something free if you purchase more than $200 in beef.

I have been trying to find some place to buy a ½ side of beef, but haven’t really found anything. So, now I am thinking I may go to Reasor’s and load up tomorrow.

Thanks Linda! I've used that info before but couldn't remember where I found it. It's usually right on! According to that, it looks like attendance should be similar to mid-late May last year, which was wonderful... actually lower crowds than during our Convention (without the cold weather)! I'm so excited, I can't wait to tell Lyzzie!!
