Donna, thanks for the Tonga Toast this morning!!! I love that stuff. Only....I have to pick out the bananas in order to enjoy it. Me no likey slimy bananas.

Minor DISboards vent: I just went over to the "new posts" section because I like to check there once in a while and see what's new... and the ENTIRE PAGE is full of Happy Birthday So&So. I mean it's nice to have your birthday acknowledged but am I the only one who finds that annoying?? Do those people even know that poster, or does that poster just go to the calendar and copy/paste a birthday message for each person? Wouldn't it be better to send a PM??

I don't think I have ever done the "new Posts" section. When I sign on I usually just hit user CP and see which of the threads I frequent had new posts. Next time I'm going to try the "new Posts" thing. I learned something new today!

Okay....American Idol last night. Several of the girls did very well. My fav is Melinda Doolittle. I enjoyed Laquisha (sp?) but I think that a couple of those other girls could have done that same song a lot better. Especially Melinda!! (P.S. I don't like that "I'm telling you" song very much).

Can't wait to find out who made it through tonight!!!

Linda, I think that is wonderful you are thinking of going back to school. My aunt Melanie, who is 23 is in nursing school right now and is going to graduate in August. I don't think I could do it because I think I would faint when I see the operations that you have to see in school like for example she had to watch an open heart surgery but she is very good w/ that stuff. If I'm ever in the hospital I hope I'll have a nurse like you are going to be! P.S. What is that link you posted? Mine wouldn't load.

That doesn't bother me a whole lot now. I was 19 when my grandma had open heart surgery. Guess who is the one that got to take the class on how to care for her... yeah, me! Not that I minded, but she had 12 kids and over 20 grandkids...and I got chosen to care for her. I'm glad I did She passed away after her 8th heart attack.

How is everyone doing tonight? April is getting adjusted to her new job so I'm not sure when she will have a moment to post. I'm also not sure when Steven is starting his. Some sister-in-law huh. Well, my heater is broken so I am sitting here typing with a winter coat on. Matt doesn't want to call the repairman until tomorrow because of the off hour cost. We do have a fire place that will warm the living room, dining room, and kitchen so it looks like the pull out couch for us tonight.

Michelle, you get to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to two people in 49 days. And yes I do expect my very own happy birthday post

Well I must get prepared to watch The Office and Grey's Anatomy. I have been looking forward to Grey's all week.

yeah, my exmil and I have the same b-day! I have a friend that also has the same b-day, my best friend is 04/15 another friend is 04/22, bil is 04/27...I know tons of April b-days!! Ashley was there at Ohana when we were talking about our b-days, she might remember when 2x's b-day is Yay Nick!!
