I wonder what they will name the new ships?

Linda have you been on both ships? If so which one do you like best?

I have been on both...I like the Magic better. Basically only b/c it does the longer cruises. They're very similar. Just minor differences. The decor is different and a few little things that most people wouldn't even notice.

I wonder where they'll go... what the prices will be??? :cool1: I hope they go to Hawaii and or Alaska!!! Maybe a new ship and an old ship at each coast!

Kids can, and will get some sort of skin problems in any sport they participate in, and it depends on what level of participation. We compete on a national level, and you never know what you're going to run into. The most common form is ringworm, and yes baseball, football, and soccer players get it.
Man, I'm glad you can't get ringworm from doing musical theatre!!! :rotfl:

I started a new thread w/this but had to share w/you guys!!!

Pozey, I know you said you have an affinity for the mega ships, but you've gotta take the family on a Disney cruise - just once!

I like the idea of one of each ship on each coast! For some reason I have always 'liked' the Magic better. Having never been on eit?er it doesn't make any sense but...there you go!

April...Steven was supposed to start his new job this week wasn't he? How is it going? Inquiring minds want to know!!

We've speculated for YEARS and today... they made our dreams come true. I can't wait to get on these new ships! Wow, I just thought of something... Kenny will be 10 before they're ready to sail:eek: wow, that will be here before we know it!

Yeah, I know......I know I would love a Disney Cruise.....no matter the ship.

All this ship talk got me to thinking about the cruises DW and I have been on. We've only done 2. We went on Carnival Cruise Line's Tropicale for our honeymoon. We combined that with a stay at Walt Disney World. The Tropicale was Carnival's oldest ship at that time. It was something like 45,000 tons.

Then, we went on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas. I thought it was larger than it is. It is 73,900 tons.

Maybe we will go on either the Wonder or the Magic before the new ships are built. Then, when they are built, we can go on one of those.

I think I need more money.......:rolleyes1

:scared1: Well I'm glad you found something that works for you and your family! Getting a good education is important anyway you can get it, bugs and all!;)

The point is, the majority of kids out there will NEVER make it to the professional level. There is nothing wrong with that, but I think most parents need a reality check if they think their children will make it into the ranks of the pro's. As kids grow the playing field changes. Little Johnny may be a great sports star between the ages of 5 to 12, but when this thing called puberty kicks in all of that changes. Sports with the addition of a high GPA in high school is the vehicle to used to acquire an education in college. So, that being said, I would tell the majority of people out there don't hold your breath waiting for your kids to be pro sports stars, and concentrate on an education. :thumbsup2
