Wow Pozey April must be a very busy time at your house. Do you have seperate parties for each child or combined?
Last year, we had a combo birthday. In fact, we had a very large cake -- half princess and half pirate. It was pretty cool. Neither Colton nor Courtney minded sharing their birthday party.

Good Friday Morning everyone!

Linda-- That's great about nursing school! You'll be a great nurse!

Lyzziesmom-- Keagan has been hinting that maybe we could get a dog at our new house. Our dog died last year (he was very old). We'll see.... Oh, and about the ummmm face story--- I think I would have died laughing!!!!

Lesa- My kitty is being nuetered (sp?) and de-clawed. I didn't want to de-claw him but his favorite chair to scratch is my husbands:scared: (ok what's with the smilies????)

Yeah 2 new ships!!!! I bet at least one is for the west coast. How fun! Speaking of cruises, I think my father-in-law and mother-in-law are going to join us on ours in December. That will be fun, expecially since it looks like we are moving.

Thanks everyone for the advice on the move and Keagan. He will be fine, I'm just being an overprotective mommy!

Well, I 've got a busy day today. The wine tasting is tonight. I hope everyone has a great day!

I have a really funny Emma/Lyzzie to tell you all, but it might be a little inappropriate. I will try to keep it as clean as possible and still keep it funny. At dinner tonight, Emma was getting tired and restless while we waited for the check, so I was trying to entertain her. I told her "gimme five!" and put my hand out. Instead of slapping it, she laid her head down on my hand. Lyzzie said, "She didn't give you five, she gave you (part of body she laid on my hand)!" Which of course Emma had to repeat, loudly. I told them to just say she gave me face, and then I turned 18 shades of red and prayed for the check to come as quickly as possible.
Well, at least she didn't say it LOUDLY in a crowded restaurant. Or were you in a restaurant?? Now THAT would be embarrassing!!

Am I still allowed here??

It's been a you know what of a week and is still going on, but it's FRIDAY!!!!!

I must run and jump in the shower---is there a smilie for that?? Who knows.

I just wanted to say hey, so .......HEY!!!!

Catch you all tonight, hopefully.

Happy Friday :grouphug: :grouphug:

princess:
Who are you again? :confused3 Are you new here? pirate: Introduce yourself to the gang noobie. :lmao:

Good news!! I may get to move cubes soon. My boss sends out an e-mail saying that several of the people in our group are moving to a different location. He asked if I would want to move. DUH!! ::yes::

That would have been neat to see. Any pictures?

Well I have heat once again. The ignitor was broken. $120.00 later we are in business.

Has anyone seen the thread about the doll babies for bereaved parents? Very interesting:scared: Some of those dolls look like a picture of a real baby. If it helps those parents good but personally it's not for me. They have a beating heart, veins, and lifelike hair.

Well I must get to work now. Somebody has to pay for this bill.:sad2:

Not a chance. Don't know if you can get more excited than you are about the new Disney Ships!! :cool1:

That would have been neat to see. Any pictures?
You know.......I don't know if there are pictures. I think that birthday was before I got my digital camera. So, I would have to go into my big box of printed photos to look and see.

Good Morning, kids! I see we're a busy bunch already this beautiful Friday morning!

Donna... donuts - thanks!! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

2X2S - you're missed, dear - but check in when you can. :grouphug:

Pozey - hooray for maybe getting to move! :cool1:

Lyzziesmom your Emma/Lyzzie story was hilarious... Oh, how mortifying, though.

YM - Awww.... too cute about DS and the stop sign/language incident.

Out of the mouths of babes, huh?

Belle041281 (is it Sherri? right?) As a parent, I don't think I could do the doll thing... I think it would inhibit the natural grief process, but what do I know? I mean, that's my WORST nightmare - losing my daughter - but a constant 'living' reminder? don't think I could do it. Of course - I don't think they make them in her size... she's taller than I am. yay for heat, huh?

Ya'll have a lovely friday!

Good Morning!

Thanks for the breakfast Donna!

YM- Good thing your didn't get a ticket!

Pozey- I bet your excited about your cube move!

Yolanda-Have fun at the tasting!

Sherri-I read about those dolls. It's not for me either. That's good you got your heat fixed!

Hi 2X :wave2:

Have a great Friday!

DS says "mom, it's ok everyone makes mistakes....but I'm very concerned about the S... word you just said".:lmao:

That sounds like something Lyzzie would say! At 2 years old, she was telling her grandpa (not my dad, the other one) not to say bad words. Kids are such smarty-pantses!

Donna: those donuts are exactly what I need! I'll take one of each. Since they are virtual, they have virtual calories, right? I got that SW email too, unfortunately it's not good for KC. They also have a sale for the month of April, that one includes a few more days. Also not good for KC. I suppose we could drive to St. Louis, y'know, if I really HAD to go.

I must run and jump in the shower---is there a smilie for that??

As I'm always telling the kids... please do not run and jump in the shower, it's much too dangerous. Also, if there is a smiley for that, it's probably not allowed on the DIS!

Yolanda: have fun with your wine tasting, I'm sure it'll be a smashing success!

Well, at least she didn't say it LOUDLY in a crowded restaurant. Or were you in a restaurant?? Now THAT would be embarrassing!!

We were at the Olive Garden. It wasn't too crowded - there was only a 20-minute wait. :scared:

Sherri: glad you got your heat fixed! I haven't seen those dolls but they sound creepy.

You know.......I don't know if there are pictures. I think that birthday was before I got my digital camera. So, I would have to go into my big box of printed photos to look and see.

Oh the horror! A box of printed photos??? That's SO last year.

Hey Miss Michele, I'm heeeeeeere!:rotfl2: I'm dressed and ready to go so where the heck are you!:confused3

Just a qick hello to al lmy cliqueless friends! I'm cheating a little here as I'm running out of time to respond to everyone. Let me just say that everyone has kept me laughing that last couple of days!:joker:

These darn smilies...what is a diser to do?:scratchin

Ok...my quick story for the night. I rolled a stop sign tonight on the way home from basketball practice. I was already little upset because some of the kids on DS's team were practicing a little dirty (pushing and slapping their teamates). Needless to say when I saw the lights flashing the first word out of my mouth was the s... word.:scared: Then when the policeman approaches it was an Officer I had just meet a couple of weeks ago (there's another story). I was explaining that I knew him for an incident that had happened a couple of weeks ago in the neighborhood and then just burst into hysterics. I felt a little bad for him...he's like do me a favor and promise to stop at the stop sign. I could have justed hugged him at that point.:grouphug: So I'm boo hoo-ing the two more blocks home and DS says "mom, it's ok everyone makes mistakes....but I'm very concerned about the S... word you just said".:lmao:

Well, I better turn in now....oh Donna thanks for the tonga toast this morning.;)

YM...I love your DS's comment....don't you love it when they act like the parent!

Well, gang, Friday is finally here!!!:cheer2: (Geesh....they did move the smilies again!!) I just happened to find this wonderful selection of donuts; grab your coffee, chocolate milk or juice and let's sample a few!!!

I hope everyone has a Fantastically Fun Friday!!!:dance3: party: :dance3:

Thanks for the donuts...Matt had a buddy spend the night so with now 3 teenage boys in the house I'm afraid they will eat them ALL!

Happy Friday!!
Am I still allowed here??

princess:

Hurray she's back!! Hope you are feeling great and will check in with us later tonight.

Good morning. Those doughnuts are yummy Donna. 10 more minutes and I can call the repairman. That is if my fingers can dial the phone. It really wasn't that bad. We slept in the living rooms with the two dogs. But DON'T use the bathroom, if you know what I mean. I hope everyone has a great day.

:scared: Yikes!!!

Good news!! I may get to move cubes soon. My boss sends out an e-mail saying that several of the people in our group are moving to a different location. He asked if I would want to move. DUH!! ::yes::
Yea!! you get to move!!

I'm so glad you have heat again...$120 actually isn't too bad.

I saw that thread about the dolls and thought they were to say the least disturbing!

Thanks for the donuts Donna! I think I just gained 10lbs looking at them!:scared:

Oops ...I just tried the dance and land on my chin?:confused3 :rotfl2:
:lmao:

How is everyone doing tonight? April is getting adjusted to her new job so I'm not sure when she will have a moment to post. I'm also not sure when Steven is starting his. Some sister-in-law huh. Well, my heater is broken so I am sitting here typing with a winter coat on. Matt doesn't want to call the repairman until tomorrow because of the off hour cost. We do have a fire place that will warm the living room, dining room, and kitchen so it looks like the pull out couch for us tonight.:sad1:

Michelle, you get to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to two people in 49 days. And yes I do expect my very own happy birthday post:snooty:

Toot Sweet you are a great lady. Heather is very fortunate to have You for a mom.

Well I must get prepared to watch The Office and Grey's Anatomy. I have been looking forward to Grey's all week.
I'm glad to hear April's job is going good for her! We're going to have to get together and celebrate our birthday!:cheer2: Michele had better not forget my birthday!

I'm up but not ready yet...remember I'm on vacation this week...how was the drive?

Get your booty up and dressed!!! I didn't come all this way to visit with your sister! The drive was fine! I slept most of it. We got in about 11:30 then we had to watch Grey's.

Well as you can all tell...I got nabbed by the signature police::cop:

I don't think they pay any attention to this thread because the link they sent was to another one I posted on last night. The PM's I got were not mean however they sent me 2...2 minutes apart!! Give me a break...I was asleep.

I was wanting to change my siggy anyway....now to find something good

OK on to today's trivia...

If you want to look up the answer, fine....but give everyone else time to guess it on their own before posting your answer.

Who is the voice of Big Al in the Country Bear Jamboree?
