I got my shopping done yesterday. I found a gigantic Liz tote that I'm going to use as my carry-on; it has lot of pockets for storage. I got my make-up amd conned the salesgirl out of a free sample of moisturizer (sorry, I ain't paying $106 for it!!) A new black Valentine shirt at Old Navy, jammies and a bra at Kohl's.
I'm going to feel quite shabby on this trip! I usually wear old tshirts and pack old stuff, just in case the luggage gets lost or something, and I just bring sample sizes of toiletries & makeup. I did get a couple new things for this trip, but mostly I will be slummin' it in the comfy old duds.
My folks are coming over again to put up some crown molding, but I had to send them back to the store because they bought the wrong color. My kitchen is all earth-tones, sort of an "old-world" look is what I'm going for, and they bought WHITE molding. There's not a lick of white anywhere in that room! So... off to Home Depot they went, with instructions to pick up some Mickey Heads while there. My dad freaked out when I asked for Alien Green paint chips - he said, "What room are you planning to paint Alien Green?"

Hopefully they will pick up enough to spare me a trip!
2x: Lyzzie liked your "Lemony Snickers" almost-typo! I think the movie was pretty good, I'm not sure because Emma and the folks kept interrupting me so I didn't really get to watch more than a few minutes at a time. Lyzzie got tired of me asking "What did I miss?" But from what I saw, it was very cute.
Your no-seat-belts story reminded me of when I was about 4 and my dad had this big brown conversion van. I sat in the back, and I guess the middle seats must have been either bucket seats or were taken out (?) because I just remember him coming to a sudden stop and I rolled all the way up to the front and bumped against the console! It must have been pretty traumatic, because I still sort of remember it. Seat belts? What are those for?? My mom said that my dad's mom used to drive around with the babies in a DRESSER DRAWER on the seat to keep them from rolling around!! Can you just imagine it?
Thanks for the cinnamon rolls Donna, they look much better than my "free breakfast!" I think I'm going to go make some now, even though it's almost lunchtime.
