Linda: I'm like you with the celebs. I know who a lot of them are, but there are a ton that I see and I'm like, who the heck is that and why am I supposed to care? Last year in Lyzzie's class they had an assignment to write to a celebrity. Lyzzie's teacher told me Lyzzie's choice was the only one she had ever heard of, and she had a heck of a time trying to find addresses for all these celebs she never heard of! (Lyzzie chose to write to Jon Bon Jovi, and even got an autographed picture with her name on it a couple weeks later - I keep threatening to hang it over my bed!)
When we were out at dinner tonight, the waitress came by and asked if we needed a box to go, and Emma looked right at her and said, "No, I just need my ice cream!" I swear I don't know where she gets this stuff! (She did get some ice cream too.)
Next week at this time we will be heading towards LeCellier for our first Cliqueless Dinner!!
Jon Bon Jovi...that is so cool!! I bet she was excited...well, I know you were

She brought her ice cream, that's so sweet! I love when they do sweet things like that for the kids! LeCellier

I can't wait!!!!
Oh no! Can you do defensive driving to get out of it?
Let me know how it works! I might have to try the same!
First, Linda might need to warn Kenny that he won't be eating many fries this trip!

But, Emma is a doll. Lyzziesmom, both your girls are the biggest sweeties! I can just picture Lyzzie kicking the poor snowman for all its worth!
They made a huge deal out of something so small! Whats up with that?
Um, Beyonce as Alice? How does that work? Isn't the goal to get someone who has SOME resemblance to the character?
I'm not seeing it...
I'll let ya know, but I'm sure Chris would appreciate you trying anyway

I'm w/ya...Beyonce and Alice

NOPE...don't see it

but, whatever. I guess maybe we can get their autographs too? That would be my first...I've never gotten any autographs except of Disney characters!!!
Hi, Crew!!!
It'a been a busy day. The Cub Sout Pinewood Derby was tonight. Nathan's car didn't do nearly as well as his car did last year. I felt kind of sorry for him.
you guys are my best friends and I've never met you either!!
Gee, it's getting late and I have an 8:30am eye dr. appointment!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
Aww Nathan

Do they make a car every year? Sorry, we're not to that age yet

My boss talks about taking his son and they really enjoy it.
I know what you mean, I talk to you guys/and about you guys

much more than who is supposedly my best friend that I've known since I was 3!! Hope the new contacts do better than the ones you had
I just wanted to say hi before heading off the the auto show that is in town this weekend. It's not what I should be doing today, but with my lease almost up, this is a sensible way for me to look at the models that I am interested in.
p.s. Linda-----I read quickly that you offered to get the "Micken" sweater for me. You are so sweet, but I don't want you to have to worry about that. I'm sure you have enough on your plate with getting Mike and Kenny ready for the trip. I'm okay with the "Moody" one even though I won't match everyone else. Thanks anyway, though!!
I bet the car show would be a blast. I love cars for some reason

Good luck. Hope you find a car you like. NO problem about the "micken" sweater...I'd just run over at lunch or something...
I am officially now looking forward to this trip!
6 more days!!! I don't know what took so me so long!

Now I have to go find my clothes and hope that they still fit!
I made a huge mistake on Wednesday mentioning that I think this winter has been a record with no one getting sick in over 2 months, usually it is every week or so someone is sick. Well no sooner was it out my mouth and Madison got sick. She started out Thursday night with a big melt down and went to bed at 6:30. By Friday morning she was running a fever and complaining her legs hurt and her throat. She spent most of the day on the couch hardly moving. She is much better this morning, but still she still has a low grade fever. From now on when something is going too good, I'm going to keep my mouth shut!!!
Glad you're looking forward to our trip!!! I've been going crazy for months!!
Hope Madison gets feeling better! That is me too... as soon as I say something..BAM... that's when it happens
.
The paper store Papyrus is closing, they didn't have much left but it was all 90% off. We got a couple of advent calendars for next year. The best deal was at Yankee Candle, I wanted to get some of the wax tarts but I don't have a burner. I do have an electric warmer for jar candles, so I asked the lady if they have just the little tray that goes on top and holds the tarts. She said no, they don't sell just that part, but she said hold on a minute and went into the back. She came out with one of the little trays, and said it was a leftover part in a weird color (sort of a burnt-orange which I actually like) and I could just HAVE it!
Our Papyrus closed in the spring and I got a ton of stuff dirt cheap. I love when they do things like that...it sure doesn't happen often.
Yes..... I have a 17 year old that watches Johnny and the Sprites.
Poor Erin came home about 2 months ago from a voice lesson just crying her little eyes out - got radared and stopped, when there was another white vehicle blowing by her (she says...) and got hit with a $104 ticket. If it wasn't her that stinks. If it really was her, she probably learned a very expensive driving lesson.
Erin watching Johnny and the Sprites!! that's too cute!
$104 ticket

Yikes!! I hate those things

I got one when I was 17, then I didn't get any until I was 25...then I got 3 in 12 months

and haven't had any since...KNOCK ON WOOD!!! I admit, I have a heavy foot at times...but considering the amount of miles I drive in a week, I guess I deserved them
Yolanda...Hope the party went well!!!
Happy Birthday Keagan!!
