Lyzziesmom- You got some great deals at the mall!

I'm glad that everyone is getting so excited for the trip!:cool1: I'm excited for ya'll!

Dznyfan- Last year the love of my life, Jacob Young from All My Children was playing Lumiere and I was this close to flying to New York just to see him!:rotfl:

Linda: I'm like you with the celebs. I know who a lot of them are, but there are a ton that I see and I'm like, who the heck is that and why am I supposed to care? Last year in Lyzzie's class they had an assignment to write to a celebrity. Lyzzie's teacher told me Lyzzie's choice was the only one she had ever heard of, and she had a heck of a time trying to find addresses for all these celebs she never heard of! (Lyzzie chose to write to Jon Bon Jovi, and even got an autographed picture with her name on it a couple weeks later - I keep threatening to hang it over my bed!)

When we were out at dinner tonight, the waitress came by and asked if we needed a box to go, and Emma looked right at her and said, "No, I just need my ice cream!" I swear I don't know where she gets this stuff! (She did get some ice cream too.)

Next week at this time we will be heading towards LeCellier for our first Cliqueless Dinner!!

Jon Bon Jovi...that is so cool!! I bet she was excited...well, I know you were;)
She brought her ice cream, that's so sweet! I love when they do sweet things like that for the kids! LeCellier:banana: I can't wait!!!!:cheer2:

Oh no! Can you do defensive driving to get out of it?
Let me know how it works! I might have to try the same!
First, Linda might need to warn Kenny that he won't be eating many fries this trip! :rotfl2: But, Emma is a doll. Lyzziesmom, both your girls are the biggest sweeties! I can just picture Lyzzie kicking the poor snowman for all its worth!
They made a huge deal out of something so small! Whats up with that?

Um, Beyonce as Alice? How does that work? Isn't the goal to get someone who has SOME resemblance to the character?
I'm not seeing it...

Alice.jpg
I'll let ya know, but I'm sure Chris would appreciate you trying anyway:rolleyes1 :rotfl: I'm w/ya...Beyonce and Alice:confused3 NOPE...don't see it:confused: but, whatever. I guess maybe we can get their autographs too? That would be my first...I've never gotten any autographs except of Disney characters!!!

Hi, Crew!!!
It'a been a busy day. The Cub Sout Pinewood Derby was tonight. Nathan's car didn't do nearly as well as his car did last year. I felt kind of sorry for him.

you guys are my best friends and I've never met you either!!:goodvibes

Gee, it's getting late and I have an 8:30am eye dr. appointment!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!!
Aww Nathan:hug: Do they make a car every year? Sorry, we're not to that age yet ;) My boss talks about taking his son and they really enjoy it.
I know what you mean, I talk to you guys/and about you guys ;) much more than who is supposedly my best friend that I've known since I was 3!! Hope the new contacts do better than the ones you had :)

I just wanted to say hi before heading off the the auto show that is in town this weekend. It's not what I should be doing today, but with my lease almost up, this is a sensible way for me to look at the models that I am interested in.
p.s. Linda-----I read quickly that you offered to get the "Micken" sweater for me. You are so sweet, but I don't want you to have to worry about that. I'm sure you have enough on your plate with getting Mike and Kenny ready for the trip. I'm okay with the "Moody" one even though I won't match everyone else. Thanks anyway, though!!
I bet the car show would be a blast. I love cars for some reason:rolleyes1 Good luck. Hope you find a car you like. NO problem about the "micken" sweater...I'd just run over at lunch or something...

I am officially now looking forward to this trip!:dance3: 6 more days!!! I don't know what took so me so long!:surfweb: Now I have to go find my clothes and hope that they still fit!

I made a huge mistake on Wednesday mentioning that I think this winter has been a record with no one getting sick in over 2 months, usually it is every week or so someone is sick. Well no sooner was it out my mouth and Madison got sick. She started out Thursday night with a big melt down and went to bed at 6:30. By Friday morning she was running a fever and complaining her legs hurt and her throat. She spent most of the day on the couch hardly moving. She is much better this morning, but still she still has a low grade fever. From now on when something is going too good, I'm going to keep my mouth shut!!!:rolleyes1

Glad you're looking forward to our trip!!! I've been going crazy for months!!

Hope Madison gets feeling better! That is me too... as soon as I say something..BAM... that's when it happens:guilty:

.

The paper store Papyrus is closing, they didn't have much left but it was all 90% off. We got a couple of advent calendars for next year. The best deal was at Yankee Candle, I wanted to get some of the wax tarts but I don't have a burner. I do have an electric warmer for jar candles, so I asked the lady if they have just the little tray that goes on top and holds the tarts. She said no, they don't sell just that part, but she said hold on a minute and went into the back. She came out with one of the little trays, and said it was a leftover part in a weird color (sort of a burnt-orange which I actually like) and I could just HAVE it!
Our Papyrus closed in the spring and I got a ton of stuff dirt cheap. I love when they do things like that...it sure doesn't happen often.

Yes..... I have a 17 year old that watches Johnny and the Sprites.

Poor Erin came home about 2 months ago from a voice lesson just crying her little eyes out - got radared and stopped, when there was another white vehicle blowing by her (she says...) and got hit with a $104 ticket. If it wasn't her that stinks. If it really was her, she probably learned a very expensive driving lesson.
Erin watching Johnny and the Sprites!! that's too cute!

$104 ticket:eek: Yikes!! I hate those things:sad2: I got one when I was 17, then I didn't get any until I was 25...then I got 3 in 12 months:rolleyes1 and haven't had any since...KNOCK ON WOOD!!! I admit, I have a heavy foot at times...but considering the amount of miles I drive in a week, I guess I deserved them :guilty:

Yolanda...Hope the party went well!!!

Happy Birthday Keagan!!

We tried to go to Bahama Breeze for dinner tonight but the wait was an hour! No thanks, so we ended up at Friday's. It was just OK.

Then we went to the mall. Briana had to replace her phone, she ended up with the pick Razr with the 'tatoo' design from Ami on Miami Ink. She is really geeked about it, we love that show.

Got Matt a new suit for the dance. And a silver tie. That is what the girl he is going with asked him to get to go with her dress. He and his friends are so funny. Only one of them is going with a girl that he actually 'likes' They tend to just pair up out of their group. The girl Matt is going with has been his cousin's GF for the last 2 years. They just broke up about 6 weeks ago and she is now dating a senior. But the boy she is seeing is taking a friend, it is an arangement they had for a long time. Oh and Matt just found out that his date is going to be on the Freshman court so he doesn't have to buy her ticket! He's excited. I was worried that he would be picked for court also but he didn't. I'm glad I will be missing the dance while we are in Disney and would have felt really bad to miss that.

Darn! We'll miss each other by about a week.

Going back to my book - reading Kingdom Keepers - very creepy....

Will you be there before or after us???

Are you loving Kingdom Keepers? I read it last summer and thought it was weird but good!

I understand they are coming out with a new one but I haven't heard when.

2x: I think I might have to borrow your Moody sweater.

I'm having one of those days where, I was in a great mood earlier and now I'm like Linda Blair, I think I'm turning green and my head just spun around a couple times. I'm snappy with the kids and I hate the way I sound, but I can't help it! I think I just overdid it today, with the mall and my parents and then when I picked up Lyzzie, the party was running late so we stayed to watch the bday girl open her gifts (she loved ours - her mom said she had just asked for it this morning! :)) and then we went grocery shopping... I'm wiped out. I was just looking at our WDW itinerary and I don't know how I'm going to do it all! But I'm determined that I will. Anyway, all that running around and I didn't get a darn thing done that I really needed to, like laundry for the trip and cleaning the house, or at least the living room, which is driving me nuts it's so cluttered. It doesn't help that when my dad works on the house, he doesn't clean up after himself and always leaves a HUGE mess. I can't complain because, hey, it's free work, but it makes me so MAD! There's grit & grime all over everything that was out on the counter, including clean laundry, mud on the floor, empty Coke cans all over the kitchen & laundry room (I don't drink Coke but I keep some here for when he comes over) and he left the Coke case empty in the fridge. Sometimes there will be random nails or screws on the floor (safety hazard) and/or tools left lying around, but usually mom gets to those. And then there's my mom, who cleans TOO much and throws out things that I need! I got one of my 2 W2's today and found her just before she opened it to look at it!!

Ugh, anyway I'm just in a lousy mood. Hopefully this wine cooler will mellow me out a little, and thinking about where I'll be this time next week - watching Spectro while waiting for our table at Crystal Palace! I've never seen Spectro... I think the last time I saw it, it was still the Main Street Electrical Parade when Lyzzie was 2, and I don't think it had changed much since I was about 8.

DznyFan and Michele: what is this Kingdom Keepers book? I think I've heard of it before, but I thought it was a kids' book so maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Hey Lyzziesmom...sounds like you had quite the day:faint: We had a busy day too and didn't seem to get much done either. I had to get up clean the house, run to the bank:banana: grab some $ for our trip:cool1: then run to moms to collect rent and let Kenny play w/his cousins. Mom was babysitting them. She has the youngest two all weekend and she was about to pull her hair out. She's not use to having them and they don't listen very well :rolleyes1 So, I thought I'd take Kenny over to play with them for awhile. We went to the $1 theater and watched Flushed Away, ran to Wal Mart, ordered pizza, and did more packing and organizing for our trip:cheer2: I'm tired and have to get up and on the road by 8:30 for my day at the spa... ahhh perfect timing for sure!

Haven't seen Spectro... I'm pretty sure I have:scratchin I'll have to find someones pix to make sure.:rolleyes1 If that's the same they had when we did the cruise and Hilton trip then yeah...I think that is what they had then??? I forget! Now its got my curiosity peeked...I have to go look!

Lyzziesmom:: It sounds like you deserve to be in a mood like that! I know I would be!! Goodness if your dad dosen't sound like mine. With one exception, it would be beer bottles spread from one end of the house to the other. Remember, my dad's the alcoholic? And that really irks me!! It's like, your woman may pick up after you when you're at your house but I don't have to!! Throw the damn bottles AWAY!!!! It's just Nasty!! And then your mom ready to open your mail??? I can't stand it when people even pick up my mail to look at the envelope. Hello, none of your business!! As much as I loved my Grandmother (God rest her soul) she ALWAYS picked my mail up, read the envelopes, turned them over, tried to figure out what was inside. Hopefully, your evening will get better.

I've been rather snarky today myself. I'm not feeling so well and I'm pretty moody and I've been popping Aleve all day long, dragging my heating pad around with me everywhere I go. I made Steven run to the store and buy me some Red Velvet Cake that I was craving (must be the cocoa in the cake). Wonderful woman issues. Sorry for TMI, guys. But hey, at least it's here this week and not next when we're sitting on the CP porch (where I WILL remember to bring my camera this time for my favorite man Pooh!! PLEASE don't let me forget:sad2: ) watching Spectro. I love Spectro. I just hate those creepy things on the balls. :scared1: I don't know why but they freak me out.

Anyway, hang in there Lyzziesmom! It will get better.

By the way, I've got another appt. w/ a new hair salon on Tuesday. This one is in Clemson. The lady sounded like she really understood my situation and promised that Angela would take great care of me. I sure hope so because I can't go through another bad haircut!!

Hey there April :)
I had to go search out a Spectro video to see if I remembered it :rolleyes1 Ok...I feel better now, I've seen it. Shew ;) Wow, that cake sounds pretty good. You're lucky...I'm fearing I'll have those issues while were on vacation:sad2: that's just not right! There is still hope, but we'll see.

Well, you guys have a great evening! I better catch some Zzzz's so I can get up early.

3 more days and we're leaving:dance3: I am SO excited!!!!:cheer2:  :cool1: :cheer2: :yay: :cool1: :dance3:

April: good luck with your new haircut! I still haven't grown to like mine from a week or two ago, but I can't quite figure out exactly what is wrong with it. I do know that she did my bangs all wrong, and that can make a huge difference as to how it looks. Oh well, I refuse to go get another haircut so soon afterward, so I guess I'm stuck with it for a while. Just another reminder to myself that you get what you pay for. I was going to say the same thing to you that you already said: better to have the womanly issues now than next week! Mine always, and I mean ALWAYS happens on vacation or during my birthday or a holiday, but this time I am medically regulated and I timed it so it'll be after we get back. Ain't I a smart cookie? ;)

Just saying a quick hello to my "nonclique" pals! Not much happening which is always nice! Spent this afternoon browsing in Borders (which is an hour away :headache: ) then tonight at a college men's basketball game (Bucknell). I am ready to curl up with a good book while I wait for teen DSs to get home.

Happy DISing!
Karen

I have the cool Valentines day thingy here!

http://www.gifmania.us/love/small_hearts/anarrow.gif[/img]

Pass it on.......

Dznyfan- Last year the love of my life, Jacob Young from All My Children was playing Lumiere and I was this close to flying to New York just to see him!:rotfl:
Oh, he's a cutie!!! The exec secty's at my job watch AMC, and have for YEARS at this company.
Afternoon all!

DznyFan, I love Avenue Q! It cracks me up!

Who all is going on the Cliqueless Convention?
Isn't Avenue Q music awesome? Erin really wanted to see it on our trip, but my friend (NYC vet/our tour guide) that we're going with - well her daughter, also Erin's friend, is only 14. I thought Erin and I were maybe going to split off and go see it the last night, but that was before I found out that John T. was in B&TB. Still haven't found out if he'll still be in the company while we're there, but Erin is SO excited - she gets to see Sutton Foster, Rebecca Luker, and maybe John Tartaglia.

Will you be there before or after us???

Are you loving Kingdom Keepers? I read it last summer and thought it was weird but good!

I understand they are coming out with a new one but I haven't heard when.
We'll be there before you - OKW starting on the 2nd. I am liking Kingdom Keepers - it's a little strange, but I like it. I'm an avid reader, and it's really weird for me to read something that is set somewhere that I know so well! A new one? That could be good!

DznyFan and Michele: what is this Kingdom Keepers book? I think I've heard of it before, but I thought it was a kids' book so maybe I'm thinking of something else.
It is a youth book - or teen book, I guess.

April - good luck with your haircut!

Lyzziesmom - I hope your day/mood got better. That wine cooler do the trick???

Nope, but getting the kids to bed did. And the 2nd wine cooler helped ;). Actually I had a pretty good day, just got crabby there towards the end, one of those where you hear it coming out of your mouth and there's nothing you can do to stop it. I'm going to finish watching Click and then it's off to bed for me... oh the exciting life I lead! :rotfl:

At least something did the trick!!

Click is such a great movie!! (go get the Kleenex)

Well, my buddy that just went on a cruise just walked in. He just got in town and headed straight to work:crazy: He got some great pix of my boat though ;) He doesn't have his card reader or I'd post some of his pix... pozey and sewer, it was the funniest thing, he kept trying to get pix of the ocean and these girls in bikinis just kept getting in his shot:confused3 :lmao:
Just catching up on a little weekend happenings 'round here.

I had to laugh Linda......last time we went to Myrtle Beach, I was showing my pictures to coworkers.....they commented pretty much the same thing....

All these women in bikinis kept getting in my shot!! :cool1: :rotfl2:

DW knows me so well though.......she'll point out pretty women for me. She's such a sweetie!! :woohoo:

DW knows me so well though.......she'll point out pretty women for me. She's such a sweetie!! :woohoo:

My ex used to do that for me... he just refused to believe that I didn't care to look at the pretty women! :lmao:

OH I am sooo MAD!! I got a speeding ticket on the way back to work after lunch. And the thing is... I see this cop car coming up behind me and about 6 other cars (who by the way have all just PASSED me going faster) so of course, I pull to the side of the road, where he pulls in right behind me! I feel like such a schmuck for being the only one to pull aside, I bet if I had kept on going like everyone else did, some other dope would have pulled to the side and gotten the ticket. I really can't afford this right now!!
lyzziesmom....sorry you got a ticket. That sucks.

I have gotten 3 or 4 tickets before. But I haven't had one in quite a few years.

My ex used to do that for me... he just refused to believe that I didn't care to look at the pretty women! :lmao:

You know, I never understood why they don't 'get' that we don't like to look at the pretty women.....
But they sure don't like to point out the cute guys, do they???

But Pozey - I'm sure you do take care of your DW on this matter....... right? I mean - since you were brought up right and all.....
