Linda, I would love to adopt you guys! Truth is, he's not much younger than you are. What would I do with Mike?

DznyFan:: I can not believe your DSS said that in an email!!! I guess you can save all your DVC points for yourself now.
Oh - we will. Watch - in about a year he'll call up whining about his job and how he needs a trip to Walt Disney World. And... his dad will have me call and book him a room.

DznyFan, I can't believe he would say that and where are these "other" places he speaks of? I'm not aware of any place to vacation other than WDW.
I'm afraid I do not know of these "other places".

He actually suggested we use our points at a resort near CEDAR POINT. (we don't have a hurling smiley, do we?) Also suggested Chicago. Chicago's great, but when we trade points, we have to trade week for week with the exchange company.
This is what kills me about this kid: He has used our points for trips on his own, and he will come down and meet up with us for a few days. He usually doesn't pay for his meals (he lets his Dad pick up the bill), we don't get a 'Thank You', and he usually doesn't have to pay for any park passes. (whole other story...) He's a 27 (almost 28) year old chemical engineer. You know what kind of money that kid is bringin' in??? And even this trip - he only paid for his meals and for his plane tickets - and he still complains!
Now the other side is this: Last December during our trip, he met up with us for a couple days, then left. Later that same day, a friend of Erin's from theatre flew down for a few days. He's a little older than Erin (22, and suspectedly gay), does pretty well for himself (works for the family company, drives a Mustang GT convertible - new), is a Disney lover, but never been to WDW before. He not only thanked us multiple times, and of course bought his own meals, but also took all of us (two families of three and himself) out to a NICE dinner at one of the table service restaurants. He still talks about that trip.
I have decided that apparently I am the carrier of the Disney gene. DD has it, I have it, DSS does
not have it. Common denominator of DSS and DD - Dad. (who does love Disney, though)
Lin - thanks for the virtual Christmas gift - made my day!
2X - I hope you're feeling better this morning, and yay for the treatment going well!!
Donna - thank you for a wonderful breakfast once again!
YM - one day home and you're ready to send them back to school!!

I pray for strength to get you through the remainder of winter break.
Lyzziesmom - hope you get your stinky problem resolved soon - yuk!! More Hanukkah presents for Lyzzie?? Sounds like you did good shopping for Emma yesterday, though.
Later - guys!
