Seewhatstimedone~ we're excited about the poly. I'm trying to lose a few pounds before we take our trip in October. So that maybe i'll be able to enjoy the pool....

You will love it; it's heavenly! Make sure to have some Tonga Toast. Aw, don't even worry about it, you can enjoy the pool no matter what!

Does the DIS require that I upload them somewhere else before posting here or, can I just upload them to my puter then here?

I slept REALLY late today. For some reason, I was really tired and slept for over 12 hours last night. Anyway, I have scratch coconut cupcakes in the oven and I'm getting ready to make some potato salad and do a little house cleaning.

Good Afternoon Threadkillers....and a great big Hidey-Ho to Robin! Sorry I've been MIA today. We are having some friends over for dinner and cards. We started this last week, so we decided to make it a regular - but casual - thing. I'm making cheeseburgers on the grill with bacon and grilled onions, scratch potato salad & coconut cupcakes.

I'm off to fry bacon....I hope ya'll are having a GREAT day!

I love bacon but I absolutely hate to cook it.

So it's something that is rarely made in this house unless someone else makes it.

I make sure I have it when I go out to breakfast though

We are leaving soon for a weekend of camping at an airplane field with friends. Not a competition this weekend, just hanging out and having fun.

I have to still give Duster her medicine so I'll be coming home every morning. My mom is going to be coming in and doing her evening pills.

Busy, busy, this weekend! Mom's family picnic reunion was Sat., and Dad's annual family picnic is today! I'm beat! PLUS, we got LOST just TRYING to leave the forest preserve - the road was forever long and, we missed a turn somewhere to get out but, so did Rory & his wife, a short distance behind us. On the way back, they found their way out but, we got more lost! I was starting to panic - it was pitch black in there! I called Rory and they came back IN and found us and led us out! I was sooo thankful!

Lots of pics from Sat but, I'm sure I'll have more from today too. Gonna take me some time to figure all this out.


Kinda quiet here - hope all is well!!

Wings
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this blog.

Noah earned his wings today. Just after 2pm this afternoon he went to be with Jesus.

No more tubes...no more pain...he is whole.

I hope everyone else is having a GREAT day. I'm off to have a morning chat and soda with a friend (we meet 3-5 mornings) and then I'm headed to grocery shopping and bulk shopping. Then I'm starting to make and freeze cakes for my nephew's wedding at the end of the month. I need to make 12 cakes including the grooms cake. I have to get a heat insert first because the bottom layer is 14" and I need to distribute the heat evenly so it bakes better.
