I am HERE! Sorry for the 'not posting" lately. No real good excuse. Just lazy.

Anyhoooooooooooooo got back to work tonight and found out that YET AGAIN, for the 4th time since I got back July 6th...I have anudda NEW NEW NEW boss.
She is a GIRL(the ONLY one out of 200 guys)! She is one of the Big Bosses DD's! She has been in the field & this company for a WHOLE 2 years...started out as a trainee & moved straight up the ladder (some have been here for 10 or more years..and nuttin)!!!!!!! I have been in the Biz for 8 years longer than she has been alive!

UGH! At least I work nights and dont have to deal with the day to day 'politics"

I love bacon but I absolutely hate to cook it.

E-Z-P-Z Place bacon in paper towels, microwave 1 minute for each slice you are cooking!!! Throw out greasy paper towel, enjoy non shrinking Bacon.!

Wings
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this blog.

Noah earned his wings today. Just after 2pm this afternoon he went to be with Jesus.

No more tubes...no more pain...he is whole.



Somewhere in that thread is a link to their blog also. I couldn't find it quick enough tho. I'm tired.

IF I cook bacon, (which is not very often anymore)..I do it that way...Much less messy then on the stove..BUT, you can cook it in the oven also...thats the way my DIL does it..
I love bacon, I just dont love the lbs. that eating bacon puts on you..Its one of my splurge items...as in {{splurge breakfast: Hotcakes, bacon, and homefries}}...YUM

I hope ya'll had a nice day. I had some blood drawn for routine tests for my doctor's appointment tomorrow and made the second 14" cake for the wedding and they are currently in the freezer.

Yesterday was Bunco - tons of fun! Friday, we're going to some friends house to play cards (we go at 3:30 and come home after midnight...more fun!). Sunday, we're headed to the midway point between here & Orlando to have breakfast with our DD & family.

Then next Tuesday I'm headed to my sisters to spend the night and we're going to Disney on Wednesday.

In between that, I need to get more cakes baked for the wedding.

Hello everyone...
I got a call from work today. One of my coworkers not feeling so well so I am going in 2 hrs. sooner(12PM)..So she can go home...I offered to come right in but she said it was not necessary...Im just considering it a bigger paycheck for the week...every little bit helps.

I am Soooo getting excited about my trip...Not so much the plane part of it tho...I never minded the plane trips before, but with all the new stuff that goes with it..Im not so thrilled.
We are going to try to NOT check any bags..Just do carry on....We each have a backpack..and Mike could carry the PC and I can carry the camera..
I know it all sounds good ..until I actually start to pack...then I fear Ill see the error of my ways......

10 days,
a snorkel mask and snorkel, not fins(we will rent them there),
five outfits,( we will do laundry on day five)
surf shoes, a couple bathing suits..
a toothbrush, no toiletries (will get them there),
a hat (the cloth folding kind)
and an extra pair of sandles if I can fit them.
THATS IT!..

So what do you think...Can we do it?

Well Im off to get ready for work...

How exciting Betsy! Carrying on bags (if you absolutely don't need to check one) is the way to go! On a vacation I always feel like less is more. You will have such an amazing time

Yes Betsy, I do believe that you can do a trip like that with only carryon luggage.

We do it all the time, especially if you have laundry facilities available.

Now I know other people who would never be able to do that, so it depends on the type of person that you are

GOOD AFTERNOON TK'ERS!

It's one of those I get to sleep about 3 hours in a 36 hour time frame day!

Just back from the Drs with Pop. Found out that the Eye Surgeon was RIGHT. There was something wrong with Pops pacemaker. Although nutin serious. But they were suppose to turn on a feature where it does a self check everyday.....THEY NEVER DID. HE GOT THIS PACEMAKER IN dECEMBER....IT WAS FINALLY TURNED ON TODAY...IN AUGUST!

When all is said & done, I want my own Medical degree! I know whay more than I should.

Anyhoooooo now I have to drive 90 miles to take James to Band practice...and then hang around there for 2 hours (wont even see Makie...she is at her Grandparents ) then drive home anudda 90.

Whadda pain. Otherwise all is fine....STILL waiting for my new LR furniture that I ordered Memorial day weekend. Geez!

So what do you think...Can we do it?

Hi SWTHD - how has your day been?

I made french onion soup tonight. I know it's hot outside, but I couldn't resist. It is REALLY good.

I also made 2 10" cakes and a 6" cake (for us to eat - frosted with cream cheese frosting). Tomorrow, I'll make 2 6" cakes for the top layer. Then I have 4 9x13 cakes to make (filled & frosted, but undecorated for extra slices in the back at the wedding) and 2 8" rounds for the grooms cake. Then....I'm done!
