Hello everyone

Robin and Colleen, glad to hear you made it home safely.

I really didn't get to catch up.. just browsed a lil. We're about to go to breakfast.

I just wanted to say HI to everyone.

It's raining cats and dogs today and I think there's a tornado watch...:scared:

We decided today would be our break day. They said it wouldn't rain tomorrow... We'll see... we're going to the parks rain or shine! :snooty:

Have a good day everyone!!!!

Cally, I prefer the parks in the rain....less crowds!:thumbsup2

Got a funny one for ya's

Every Tuesday I drop my father off at the strip mall. He gets his hair cut (all 2 of them) then does 'his shopping' at the local supermarket (10% off for Seniors on Tuesdays)
So when he is ready to be picked up he calls me. Lately the pay phones, in front of the supermarket have not been working. So he walks from one end of the strip mall to the other by Kmart & calls me from there. However I MUST wait 5 minutes to give him time to walk back to the supermarket. The concept of him just staying at kmart, and I will pick him up there.....just flies over his head.

So anyway, i go to pick him up.....and he is COMPLAINING about the pay phones (as usual)..however he thought he had the problem licked. He brought the cordless phone from his bedroom with him!!!!

He couldnt understand why the cordless phone would work from 1 mile away from the house......:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
Now i tried to explain how these things work (why i bother i dont know)....but he cant figure out how he can call his sister in Toronto, and his brother in Kansas City on THAT phone...BUT cant call me from the supermarket (btw on the same phone #).

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Cally enjoy your day at the world, rain or no rain:thumbsup2

Did you end up at Downtown Disney on Saturday night:confused3

Liz and I went there and I kept an eye out for you but I didn't see you or the rest of your family.

We went back again on Sunday night because Liz had to return a tshirt that she found the correct size on Sunday (DTD store called to see if it was available in the correct size anywhere else on property and we were told no. found it at MGM:rolleyes: )

Also she bought a sweatshirt at MGM and they forgot to take the security tag off, so we had to go and get that removed.

Good afternoon threadkillers.

Loved your story about dad DU. :rotfl:

Hi gang!

My pictures turned out pretty good, I just realized I didn't take any pictures when we ran into Susan and Ann...I guess its cause we expected to run into them at least one more time on Saturday :confused3

My internet connection is lousy again. I am gonna go mess with the router now and see if I can get connected long enough to load my pics.

Work has been busy, I always expect the first couple days back to be like that tho.

Wish me luck, hopefully I will be back with some of my photos.

Have a great time this weekend Brenda, say hi to the big cheese for me!

That's Bonnett Creek!

Rose bought into it as one of her home resorts :woohoo:
(She now has four :faint: )

Didja see picture of Pop from across the lake?

I took that from our balcony :cloud9:

Yes, a real balcony~10 x 10 at least...

Our next trip (in December) takes us to Summer Bay Resort.

It's off property but well worth the drive~
