yep we sure did...but it was all so worth it...really loved everything...and can't wait to go back. Hoping to take DD for her 30th (in 3 years). I think she will enjoy it all as much as i did!!! But will stay longer and spend at least 2 days shopping....didn't get enough of that

It was a "Star Wars" marathon here this weekend.....my nephew Eric wanted to watch every movie multiple times....did talk him into going to the park today...so we got there - i got on the swing set - haven't done that in a LONG time...but was so fun for the short time it lasted...i think we were there 10 mins max and then he was ready to come back home....oh well....the walk there & back was good...pretty warm day

No didnt get the train...its not available yet (Oct 15). They had Disney sets there too!

We were in the Living room...she crawled by the stairs....and whhhhhhhhomp climbed up them like she has been doing it for years!

Hi Threadkillers!

I think I'm the black sheep threadkiller! I didn't get to meet everyone at Beach Club because of the rain. Now here's the worst part...I just read that Cally was staying at the Dolphin....Tinknutt and I were, too! UGH! I'm SO sorry I missed the Beach Club get together forgive me?
It was awesome to see everyone - we got rained on! Tinknutt and I saw everyone but Cally at Epcot.

When the rain finally did let up, we didn't have time to make seeing everyone AND our dinner reservations - which were at Shula's Steakhouse (Awesome, awesome, awesome! Plan on spending more than you would at Ruth Chris's, but TOTALLY worth it!).

We arrived safely home yesterday afternoon to discover that our internet was STILL down...2 days before I left it was down! It's back up and the rain followed us home!

I've been super busy - tomorrow I'm having 12 folks over for appetizers & dessert (and bunco) and 3 folks over for dinner Wednesday.

Appetizers:
Cheese Board with Fruit (Humboldt Fog, Manchengo, Blue Dolce, New York Sharp Cheddar, Blue Moon, Brie and Garlic & Herb Pub cheese)
Provolone Stuffed Olives and Green Olive & Tomato Tapanade
Strawberries & Grapes
Pot Stickers with a Garlic Soy Dipping Sauce (my own recipe for the sauce)
Spinach dip in a bread bowl
Pre-made puff pastry appetizers (Kalamata Olive/Sun Dried Tomato & Pear/Brie)
Fudge Brownie Pie with Caramel Sauce for dessert (too easy not to make again)

Wednesday Dinner
Pork Loin marinated in the Garlic Soy Dipping Sauce, grilled til just done (slightly pink) and sliced thin)
Salad with Basalmic Vinegarette & tomatoes
Rosemary Tuscan-Style bread

Gotta start cleaning! Later!

I spent the whole afternoon shopping...taking mumsie to target. then going food shopping for the month.
I like to stock up at the beginning of the month. Right now you coulsnt get a peice of papper in the frezzer.

Anyhow...I had a Pb&J sandwich for dinner....The parents had chicken pot pies..... After all that shopping i am sick of food.

For the next few hours anyway.

Got great deals on Marie callenders Chick pot pies...2.00 at shoprite! and yoplait yougurts for 50 cents! & breyers Ice cream for 1.99! Porkchops for 1.79 a lb!

That was my big buys!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Liz and I made it to Florida and back home again safely

We had an AWESOME time.

Even though we stayed off property we spent pretty much all of our time except for sleeping ON Disney property.

It means that we were rarely off of Disney property the whole time that we were there, other than to return to our hotel room to sleep for a few hours.

Literally we were at our hotel 8 or 9 hours in a row at the most.
