Morning TKers.....4:45 here....my coffee is almost ready....and today is the big day...months & months of planning this fundraising wine / dinner /auction & by tomorrow this time it will be over ...let me tell you it's almost like planning a wedding........anyway - i'm so hoping that it's successful...We ended up with about 90 silent auction items and 13 live auction items....so hope everyone is feeling really generous tonite!!! Have to be to Seascape for set up at 10 - then hopefully will have time to run over to DS' football game before returning to Seascape at 4:30ish to get ready etc. for the the 5:30 start time....have a great Sat everyone!!!

Thanks....it is a cool resort for sure - i try to do at least one CM cropping event there a year....just for the views & ambiance of it all...check it out

Hi, it's sunny but chilly here! I'm loving the cool weather! I'm also going to love our electric bill when it gets here.

We had Kentucky Fried Chicken tonight Cally.

Is that better than pizza

Actually anything is better then pizza in my opinion

Cally, I ordered A bratwurst sammich with gravy and fried onions on a roll with german potato salad and mushroom soup. John ate my soup and I only ate the meat out of the sammich.

We went for sushi for dinner. He got the sashimi dinner (raw fish) and I had salmon skin salad, an incredible roll (shrimp tempura roll topped with spicy crabmeat) and shrimp tempura as my entree.

I'll take sushi over pizza anyday!! We had sushi the other night...my fav is the spicy tuna roll. YUM!

I would like to try the salmon skin salad. It sounds very good.

Me too! I had to get up at 5:30 to bring LizzY to the high school! They have a weekend of band competitions around Syracuse so had to leave early! We'll go to the state championships in SYracuse to watch tomorrow. That means another early day!

Cally, John also had a spicy tuna roll, an eel avocado roll and seafood tempura. The salmon skin is put on a bed of seaweed salad and strips of cucumber and then the chef puts a white and brown sauce on it. The sauces make the dish.

Rainy, dreary day here again too. The puppies are getting stir crazy being stuck in the house for so long...esp little Penny.

Just got some disturbing news. They guy who I have been filling in for the past 2 weeks....actually handed in his "i am quitting" notice before he went on vacation!!!!!

He is back from vacation and just called me. Not only have they NOT told me, they havent even opened up a position! I am peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeved!

PS....i did purchase some beautiful plants AND a gorgeous print of Siena....my house has somewhat of an italian tone....so Siena is perfect!!!

Betsy, I'm not ready for Halloween yet!!!!!! We got DeV's costume (Darth Vader) but we can't find one for Dante... he's so picky. Now that he is older it is much harder. He doesn't want anything too "babyish" He's a big boy now

I still need to get some candy too...Even though no one will be here to give it out..it's just in case we get home early and there are still kids out TOT'ing.

Looking forward to pics of Albert!! Maybe I should dress Nala up. I'm sure that would make her really mad.
