soooo much catching up....so been really busy at work, with the auction this weekend AND making borders (scrapbook page borders) for the wkend crop event in Carmel next month...all this must be finished by Saturday....

Cally....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you & Rog.....i agree with Colleen....don't keep something that Roger hadn't truly chosen for you from the heart....just return it & i would find the salesperson who sold it and give her a small piece of mind how her coercing him into getting something SHE thought you'd like instead of allowing him to go with the gift HE chose!!! That just all bugs the bejeezers out of me for some reason....

DU - Happy BD to your mama....sooooo....she belongs in my "4ver 40" group..... We are VERY VERY far north of the fires....but thank you for asking....SOOOO Sad to see all that going on.....

Colleen.....DH bought me the D50 2 yrs ago right when it came out....i HAD actually read about it prior to the release....and couldn't settle for a lesser model...so went on our 1st cruise with my little P&S since it wasn't out then....if you are DEAD set on the D80....you should get it ONLY & ONLY if it doesn't financially hinder you in any way....one thing we did, was bought the base only...so saved about $300 - since i already had lenses.....didn't really need the one that came with.

Hope to check in again with you all before auction...if not, will definitely check in on Sunday...

Well we did return the stuff.. I'm keeping the nano video though. Roger is fine with it. He agrees he over did it. And the sales lady was so nice to us.... it was a different lady today.

Thanks for all the Happy Anniversaries. We went out to dinner with SIL and fam. It was a good dinner.

Roger has a TDY to Savannah next week. He leaves Wednesday and comes back Sunday. I think he's gonna visit his cousin on Saturday while he's down there and she wants me, sil, and the kids to come down that weekend to. It's her birthday.

I'm not sure if we'll go though because it all depends on sil if she wants to drive. I'm not driving.
