Brenda, I have my first show scheduled for the 11th of november. I even put together a script off of the training disc. My sister is hosting at my mother's house. Mom's got the room for it. I want more stuff! Now that I know more about the product I feel I need more for my first show. I am putting a wish list together today sometime and assume I order off of CM's. I am also opening my webpage sometime today to the full website so my friends can order off my page. Any recommendations for me at this point on what else I should be doing to prepare? I'll be home all day-when you get a chance these are my questions for now.

You know, there's really not much that shocks me so the half-naked men in the nursing home are not problem for me

I get a chuckle out of them. They are all so nice but all into their own little worlds.

Well some of them may not be too nice. There is a gentleman that is quite vocal (noisy, hollering sort of.... aaaaahhhhh, aaaaaahhhh, he says a lot and loudly). Another man is always yelling at him to shut the hell up

I worry when Penny gets to Mikas lips and tries to hang on. My dogs are trained where if I say no biting they know they are playing too rough. I had to tell Penny no biting today

Betsy, you should do a progressive series out your bedroom window. Every day you should take a picture from the same spot at the same time of day. Ever see the ones done for pregnant people? like that.

I hear ya about friends and kids and driving. I am in a whole new world now. I have my days for me. My kids drive themselves or with others now. no more soccer, no more school. I kinda miss it but really don't. btdtgio~been there done that glad its over

Thats a good idea..and I probably already have the pictures taken....Maybe Ill try to find them and put it together when I have time...BUT in the meantime
I just took some awsome pictures of a moonrise this last full moon...and then the next morning got some amazing sunrises....Ill put them in my "fallcolors" album...If you get a chance go take a look....

I just looked...very, very nice Betsy! You've got a good eye. The dog is cool, the "summer's over" one has great composition. Using the lake as a reflector are some of my favorite~

Hey yall!! Have I ever told you all what a bunch of nice people you are... Well I'm telling you now!

I just got home. Roger and I finally found a costume for Dante. He said he wanted to be a blue ninja. We went to K-mart and their costumes were 50% off...and we did find him a blue ninja

We got them some trick or treating bags and 3 bags of candy to hand just case we get home and there are still TOT'ers out.

All of that for $20.10. We also got a 10% military discount. I think Kmart is under rated!

I'm going to go catch up...

pretty funny health alert there. I'll take some WINE or BEER any day!

Speaking of wine... I finally found the wine I was looking for online. I had some wine in Germany at Epcot and it was soooo good and I didn't buy a bottle. I went to every wine store in town and no one has ever heard of it. I finally found it online!!!!

I'm not into the dry wines, or the bark tasting wine... I like the sweet fruity kind and there are not that many wines that I know of that are sweet and fruity.

But anyways, speaking of frost. It is sooooo cold here right now. It's so surprising because it usually doesn't get this cold yet!! We didn't have frost.... YET.... but I know it's coming. The kids will freeze their butts off TOT'ing.

I am working on my december trip itinerary today...

I ordered our KTTK tour tickets DH John, DS Adrian, Rose and Me are touring with one of the funniest trip reporters I have ever read on the TR boards We are touring with Nebo and his wife Smidgy. He had given me a heads up to get tickets quick cause he tried for the same week and that was the only day available.

Speaking of wine...John and I went to Lahaska PA yesterday. It's a shopping mecca in the historic "Washington's Crossing" State Park, New Hope area. John spoiles himself with wine. I indulge him too, I bought yesterday's wine. We have bought from a different area winery every weekend we've been out together since I've been home. It's a shame I do not like wine. Can't stomach the smell. Rose is also a connossuier compared to me. She did wine tasting at epcot while I tried all the beers.

I'm a beer girl. I'll try anything once, twice if I like it. I won't touch a cheap beer. My base price is at budweiser level. I love me some Sam Adams. Give me a corona if I am at the beach. Everyday beer? Heinekin light. I like me some golden Ales but won't go near a dark bitter beer.

We went to the Austrian Village and I drank Dinkelacker. Priceless was the old guy eating lunch with his wife next to us that keeps his very own mug there. The priceless part? It's a Mickey in Leiderhosen beer mug from world showcase germany at Epcot!!!

When in Germany, drink Becks. When in season, drink holiday beer, esp Sam Adams holiday beer.

There was trick or treating in Lahaska yesterday. There were kids and dogs in costume everywhere!

I remember the days of having to fit the costume to fit over the coat or cover the costume cause it didn't

My kids still dress up!

Adrian was Dr Grant from Jurassic Park for a party the other night~

Speaking of beer...

Roger does this thing called...Strange Beer Friday...and every Friday he'll buy some beer that he's never had before.

Well last Fri he bought a case of Sam Adams Winter Mix beer. Bad Bad mistake!!!! Let's just say he is donating a case and half of beer to his unit.

But we do like Octoberfest and Sam Adams light.

I usually stick with Micholeb Ultra, Coors light, Corona.

Roger did go through a phase when he was drinking nothing but Heineken.

For me...give me any alcoholic drink and I'm game

What IS this spray of which you speak DU??

The is a Defrost spray you can spray on your car windows...instantly takes the ice off! The chemicals in it will probably knock 2 years off my life....but in the big picture...WELL WORTH IT!

Sad note here today.

My mom called to tell me that my brothers boxer Cash died this morning.

Cash was a great dog, wonderful personality and temperment. Huge guy but never hurt anybody. My mothers pug would literally jump up and latch onto poor Cash's lips and hang on him

Cash attended all of our family functions and everybody loved him.

I'm not sure how old he was but he had a heart condition and lived for years longer than was originally expected.

Cash spent most of his days with my mother, hanging out at her shop at home and playing outside and begging for treats from people who came in the door.

He spent the rest of his time with my brother and his family at home.

Every now and again you get one of those pets that is truly remarkable. That was Cash.

Rest in Peace my old friend.

RIP Cash.

I am ready for my new Monday...got my coffee, I add cinnamin in the coffee grinds and lotsa cream and sugar. Went and got my sunday (want ads) paper. There's supposed to be more in this issue more up my alley. I am leaning into graphic arts, printing and trying to find a way into using my photography more. If there's anything lacking in the want ads its jobs in the artistic venue.

Tigg...Congrats on booking that first show....it sounds like you are really prepared....and yes once your guests place their orders, you will just order whatever you don't have (from your cons kit) direct from CM - it only takes a few days to get to you.....did you send me your home no.?
