Went to fold laundry, let cats inside, feed cats, let one cat out again and then 30 seconds later back in again , got a snack and came back downstairs to my computer again finished snack and am ready to go again!!

PC, my little ones are now 17 and soon to be 21, so they are not so little anymore!! Our first trip to Florida they were 4 and 7. These were 2 kids who could not drive across town in the same car and get along . They behaved wonderfully on the trip to Florida and also back again!!! No movies and maybe a gameboy, for some of the trips.

Since then we have driven down to Florida many, many times. We have flown a few times too. Actually we are probably driving down for our cruise the beginning of January.

So, Kim, your husband really did NOT want you to go then??? I am glad that you were able to go. I would love to go to ........ anywhere !!!!!!, maybe take my mother and my daughter and maybe my niece with me. We could go to WDW or on a cruise. But we would have major hassles with the men, who would not want us to go!!!

A cruise sounds like lots of fun!! I watched the special they had on tv the other night on Disney Cruise.... One day I hope to go on the cruise...


I think next year we are skipping our disney trip but plan on going to Alaska to visit my parents. Haven't seen them in 6years so it is worth it!

I think the problems started while I was actually GONE. Maybe realizing ALL that I do, that HE had to do (for 5 days)???? Been some bad blood since then, that's all. I'm sure the 'problems' would've eventually surfaced, trip or not. (Must be bare my soul tonight)

It's hard. I really miss them. That's what the military does to you. Separates you from family. The hardest part is that they do not know my children. Oh well, we send lots of pics, phone calls, cards, gifts.

PC, I didn't eat too much tonight because I bbq'd steaks and they tasted funny to me, so I made some burgers for my son instead, husband said steak tasted okay to him, no accounting for some people's taste I guess

So the snack I had was a warmed up hamburger (meat only) with ketchup on it, some cold baked beans, a slice of Velvetta cheese and a small glass of Pepsi!!

Cruises are definitely a LOT of fun!!! This will be our 6th Disney cruise, 1 Royal Carribean and 1 Carnival Cruise too.

If you haven't seen your parents in 6 years that is a long time. I can't imagine that either cause mine live about 5 miles away from me. I have never been to Alaska but would like to cruise there some day too.

Alaska is beautiful!!! Summer time is the best time to go. DH and I were so surprised our first time there. We were out at 12midnight ..it was daylight!!! People were out playing fresbe(sp?), having picnics, walking dogs...it was crazy!


We went to some place called Portage Glacier...so beautiful! The ocean had iceburgs yet it was 70-75 degrees (very comfortable weather)..the mountains had ice glaciers.....

It sounds very beautiful.

Hawaii and Australia are also on to do lists. We are also planning a trip to Holland in the next few years.

My husband has aunts/uncles/cousins there. We would like to go and visit again before too long. So maybe next fall or spring or fall of 2006 we will go to Holland.

Hi everyone! Dang....I missed PC again! Howdy-doo! Ya'll sure have a nice packing plan going. But where exactly are you staying? SOG? Is that Shades of Green? If it is - let me know how it was! DH retired 5 years ago after 35 years in the Navy. I understand being separated from your folks. However, the travel opportunities are great! What branch of service are you/or DH in?

Kim & Cruisin - sounds like ya'll had fun last night. When we got home and ate the (delicious) wings, we were tired, so we went to bed right away.

Woke up the morning and met everyone for b'fast. It was a nice time. We're getting laundry done today and we're just going to spend the day relaxing and getting ready to finish working for the election. The next week we'll be real scarce.

I'm with Kim, Cruisin & PC - BrerPapa..........we want our story!

I don't know what I am doing today exactly.

My son has gone to London (1 1/4 hrs to the east of here) for a St. John Ambulance test.

My husband is doing something kind of neat today. He is starting in Windsor 1 hour to the west of here . With three different remote control airplane clubs they are having a sort of get together. They are starting at one club and have divided into teams. Each team is flying one of their airplanes - cross- country to the next clubs flying field. So they have one guy to drive the pickup truck, one person to navigate where they are going and to help the guy who is flying his remote control plane from the back of the pickup truck, while they are driving to the next field. Sounds like a real hoot!!! Lots of pitfalls, like power wires, trees, stop signs etc to be watching out for.

It is a little bit chilly today so I hope they don't freeze in the back of that truck. They have cleared this run with the police so they should be okay that way.

I bet they have a day of laughs and fun. They are ending up at our clubs flying field and having a barbeque for the end of the season club closing!!! There are some die-hards who fly in the snow but most of them are not that fanatical about it.

My daughter is planning on visiting with her boyfriend this afternoon ............. so............. that leaves me and the cats home alone for awhile this afternoon.

Gee guys guess what I just found !!!!!!!!!

I opened the garage door to see if there were any kitties in there that wanted to come into the house. We keep the door up a bit so they can get in and out of the weather if they want to.

Well, there were no cats to be seen in the garage. But I looked down and there on the mat right outside the door I see.............. three mice in varying sizes all laid out nicely there

Someone brought me a treat

Now I know that I was starting to think that breakfast would be a good idea but that was not exactly what I had in mind
