We will be staying at ALL Star Music in Decemeber. When do you do laundry?

We will be staying 5 nights. I want to pack LIGHT.

For each person

6 t-shirts
4 shorts or crop pants
2 jeans
enough undies and socks for the week
1 light weight jacket
1 sweat shirt
swimsuit
Jammies

Does that sound about right?

With that I think I should only have to do laundry once and maybe just the bottoms as we will have enough shirts. (I hate to put t-shirts in dryers)

Most of our trips are around 9 days or so, therefore, we always end up doing laundry. I usually do it at night, or while we are at the pool. We are also DVC members, so when we are in a 1 bedroom I usually start a load in the morning and finish it at night.

December is hard to pack for. Some Decembers we have needed fleece jackets and gloves at night! But we could still wear shorts and t-shirts in the height of the day. I find it hard to decide what to pack until I am closer to the trip and have a better idea of what the weather will be like.

We usually stay more than two weeks. We stay at universal for a week then disney. before we leave universal we was our clothes.

December is a mixed bag as far as weather is concerned. It's best to pack a little of everything . . . shorts, jeans, t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, fleece, jacket, even gloves and a hat! It can get quite cold at night and still be chilly during the day (especially in the shade).

We have only stayed more than 10 days so far so we absolutely do at least 2-3 loads of laundry during the middle of our stay and then 2 before we leave; I hate taking lots of dirty laundry home in my luggage.

I started doing laundry once I had my two DDs. The little one is a slob, and even with stain stick I was afraid to let her clothes sit. We do a pool day in the middle of our week long vacation, so I do the laundry then. I sit with a good book and a drink :thumbsup2 while DH and DDs swim away. We usually stay at POFQ, so the laundry is right by the pool.

It helps me not pack as much, which I rationalize as more room to bring stuff home :goodvibes

We usually do it the day before we are going to run out of clothes, around day 6. We also make this pool day as most resorts have the laundry rooms right next to the pools so the kids can play while DH and I do the laundry.

I always end up doing laundry at WDW. We always pack a bit of everything (to be prepared for any weather conditions) but it always seems like we run out of clothes about halfway through.

For December I would pack way more warm clothes. It's a toss up as to what you will need. I"ve been in November & December when it's so cold I thought I was going to freeze to death and I've been in January when it was so hot I only needed shorts.

Oh yeah, we during the second week of a two week stay.

I just take plenty of clothes... I use to travel a lot and could go about 6 weeks w/o doing any laundry... and no, I didn't wear anything more than 24 hrs :) I hate to do laundry!!!! DH does it at home

Our puddle-jumper from South Dakota to Minneapolis has crazy weight restrictions, so we'll definitely be doing laundry, probably a couple of times. We'll only be able to bring three shorts and three t's per person for 9 days.

I do laundry on vacation, regardless of where I am. I just hate the thought of packing home smelly clothes then having a ton of laundry to do when I get home. Plus it saves room for other fun things. The only thing we pack extras of are underwear and socks. Other than that, one shirt and one pair short per day plus one or two pairs of jeans. We are going for 7 days and I can pack clothes for myself, DH and both DS's in one large suitcase. Our DD gets her own small case and we pack an extra(throw in things that are disposable) for bringing home the stuff we buy there.

We do a load of laundry every day but the machines are in the room so it's pretty handy. If the machines weren't in the rooms, we'd pack enough so we wouldn't have to.
