While on my way to the Magic Kingdom today..(pictures/sound)

Oh Dan!!! I'm all tingly and weepy now. Thanks so much for the great shots and the perfect music. I can't wait for my dd to wake up and see it too. Perfect way to get in the mood for Friday's departure!! Yeah...like I need something to get me in the WDW mood. You are a true gift Dan. What a guy.

Thanks for giving me such a wonderful morning!! :p I have my mouse scrolling, cup of coffee in hand and beautiful pictures of Disney World making me smile! :bounce: All I have to sit is sit back and dream!! :sunny:

We have never taken the monorail ride around the resorts............I was just telling the kids and Dennis that I wanted to do that this year. ::yes:: Now, there is no doubt that we'll be on that!!!! :sunny: :lovestruc

What a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you so much, Dan! :wave2:

nice pics but barely any people in them! I want to go when you do! lol

We always seem to go when it is soooooooo crowded!

Nice Dan! It only took me 35 minutes to see them all with this old fashioned dial-up!

Trying to convince my DH to go with DSL!!!!! :hyper:

I remember the very first time I went to WDW. Epcot wasn't even finished then and I used to joy ride on the monorail. It was always so fun.

Thanks Dan, you just brought me back to April 1981.

Thanks for the trip.

Thanks Dan!! Great Tour!

Just what I needed to get over the blues from a quickie trip we took 14 days ago. (It feels like it's been 100 days ago... :( )

Great pictures - thanks so much for posting them. It made me feel like I was there, gave me the fix I needed.

Postcard perfect Dan, just like always.:D I don't know how you do it. The colors in your pictures are so vivid(the GF rooftops against the blue skies are gorgeous--are you sure you don't tweak the color?):earsboy:
Micca, I do, at a minimum, resize and compress every picture, from, in the 300K range, to around 100K, and from 1024 X 768 to 640 X 480, and a very rare crop, but seldom. I most often will also use a contrast correction (using MS's Digital Image Pro or Adobe's Photo Album for all the above) on the pictures. The contrast correction has the general effect, very similar to looking through polarized sunglasses or using a polarized filter on the camera. I do always use polarized sunglasses and do use a UV filter (mostly for lens protection)(I do have a polarized filter too, but rarely use it, unless doing a lot of water) on the camera, so with the contrast correction, I get a net effect of looking through my glasses, and yes, that is generally more vivid, as the reflective effects of things like air pollution, among other things, are removed. Short answer long, LOL, yes, but close to what I see. :)

I can hardly wait till tomorrow to share this w/ my DD. We are leaving in a month for WDW and this will be her 4th trip to The World.

The monorail is very special to us because it is tradition on our trips to take a final monorail ride every night before I put DD to bed. I get her ready for bed, pajamas and all, and we get on the monorail and take a relaxing ride around the Seven Seas Lagoon. We always go in Sept, so at 9:30-10:00 at night, we generally always have a car to ourselves.

Thanks for a great thread and I will be visiting it again tomorrow:wave:
(Underlining my addition for emphasis)

Only at Disney. That too sounds so magical, could be one of those touchy/feely commercials that gives many of us a tear now and then. THAT is neat!!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

And so nice to read you enjoy these, and show them to the kids and they too enjoy. Gives me a smile here. :)

THANKS! :sunny: THAT BROUGHT A LITTLE DISNEY SUNSHINE TO MY BUSY WORK DAY!
YOUR HARD WORK AND CREATIVITY ARE APPRECIATED!!

Another Oh MY! for me tonight!!! Thanks to a link, I was graced with even more GORGEOUS pictures! This time to the Magical Place on Earth!!! Dan, to say these were breath-taking, and heart-stopping, would be pretty close to how I felt. I am SOOOO looking forward to our WHOLE family trip in 2006, and yet, I hate WAITING for the rest of them to go with! I would go next year for sure, but I really WANT to wait, and share this with ALL my family, for the first time, for them anyway! ;) :p

Thank you, ever so much, yet again!! :goodvibes

HI Dan,,,

I posted on the resort boards (where I saw this),,but wanted to say it here too!!

THANKS!!!! We do this every trip,,a couple times LOL....and always manage to get a ride or two in the front (we do not mind waiting for the NEXT or the NEXT Monorail!!..... NOW not to be greedy,,but a ride to EPCOT in the front would be a treat LOL..We have this on tape a few times,,but to jump on the boards and see it would be COOL>> just a HINT --

This was fantastic!!!!!

Tink!!!!

Enjoyed the ride! Thanks for the great shots and for sharing them with us.

WHOOSH!!!;) :p

Can't believe how light the crowds were! That's the time of year we usually go.

*Sigh* gotta get the kids back there somehow ;)

Thanks Dan, awesome tour!

Okay, I'm back again this morning. I just can't seem to stay away! I can see this turning into a daily morning ritual.

Dan, do you have any more in the works? And where do I sign up for the Dan Man fan club?! ;)

Hey Dan - I found this all the way on page 12. I'm going to give this a bump so other people that didn't see this fun thread before can see it now.

I just want you to know that I showed this to my 6 yr old DD and she was grinning from ear to ear. This made her even more excited for our trip that is coming up in about a month. This will be her 4th time at WDW, so she could really enjoy this thread because she knows everything you took photos of.

Again thanks for a fun thread - you really gave us a part of WDW right in our own home.

That was great Dan! A bit of Disney magic to tide me over til I'm able to get back there again! Thanks!!!
